  1. ...this seems to somewhat have derailed from animals eating other animals, to include their own kind, to debating between human cannibalism. No, it's not a good thing. But animals cannibalize constantly, even their own young, for the simple fact that they're hungry, there's not enough food for the young, they're stressed, they don't know what to do, or plain just go for it and leave the bulk of the bodies behind to rot. Children can indeed learn a lot from this game, but again, it wouldn't be graphic or anything. Hell, Viva Pinata had you feeding them to each other. And that game was definitely geared towards children (at first). It didn't catch on because it was too difficult a game for many at the age that would enjoy the colorful beasties. This game is very similar (albeit no candy or unlimited lifespans/no genetic problems from inbreeding) so having a similar feeding shouldn't be such a big deal.
  2. Ah, but you DO have some idea of the genes, esp expressed ones(fangs). However, with Stormy being the grandchild of a wanderer, it makes her a little less likely to have as many "wild" genes as Gumdrop. I'd say if you really want to, push Stormy into the lead and have Loche at her side to increase your poison fang gene pool options.
  3. Gumdrop, you know her genes are solid, you can't risk hemophilia spreading around! Even if she's only carrying it, that cuts your male's chances in half, and can only get worse!! You have Loche for poison fangs for now, too.
  4. But we already send them to their deaths on purpose... it's more of a QoL sort of addition than to say "then the mother tears her newborn baby apart because it was born GG Immunity and sick".
  5. I think it would prove useful, I mean if you're going to fight OFF an enemy (wanderer/rogue male) then what's to stop them for utilizing that meat? It's not as if you'd intentionally abandon unwanted/excess/elderly (fe)males from the tribe in order to kill and eat them >w> Not like I already send sick(*cough*inbreds) and unwanteds off to the ocean. And call it a tribal custom.... nooope.
  6. I agree as well. Here's the comment I posted on Steam before I was pointed this way :3 I noticed you cannot banish or attack newborns or young, which is... pretty unrealistic. If you get a bad birth (double immunity genes, for example) you have to move everyone away from the nest to avoid spreading the sickness, and feed an unwanted cub until you can push it into the water to drown/be leeched on to death.I suggest being able to either have the mother abandon the cub from the nest (it dies as if attacked by an enemy) or be able to banish a cub from the group (if set as omega and using an alpha), because losing out on turns /and/ food for an unwanted, sick offspring doesn't really fit with the drive to survive the game protrays.Yes, I know it sounds harsh, but we're playing with a nature simulator here. Nature doesn't abide unfit offspring, and more often than not, I end up losing breeding time to having to wait out sickness when the random newcomer to the area turns out to be completely infertile and I"m dancing around Home/A/B/G genes trying to keep from having doubles xD
