"c-captured? no, this-this is my house." tal was really nervous now. this person wasnt making any sense. what were they up to?

tal turned back to the person at the window. "do you need something?" he mouthed uncertainly. who even was this? could they just go away? tal was starting to get nervous

tal blinks, pulling his hand back and towards himself. he looks down at his sister to make sure she hadnt been woken up by all this rustling around

tal raises up his hand and waves it slowly

tal jumps back suddenly, scared from the flying projectile. he stands up slowly and peeks out, his curiosity now becoming too much for him

he slowly made his way out of bed, crouching before the window so that whatever was outside there couldnt see him. he took a deep breath, contemplating his next move. he couldnt just go back to sleep knowing that something was out there...but he had never disobeyed his mom before. he lifted up his wings a bit, just enough for them to be visible to the outside. maybe theyd get scared away...maybe he wouldnt even have to do anything at all.

tal tensed up. he stayed put. maybe he was just imagining things...

tal felt a little envy at his sisters speed for falling asleep. he turned over in his bed.

"night"

tal smiled over at his sister before climbing into his bed. he struggled to find a comfortable position to place his wings in, as per-usual

tal slowly followed behind her

they were very good! but youre still a little confused you only remember a sandy shore and a very strong wind it hurts to try and remember any more

"alright..." tal said. he felt that "bed time" didnt mean much. he typically stayed up hours past his "bed time" just laying with his own thoughts, staring at the ceiling (AS THEY WONDER WHATS ON MY MIND, AND WHEN THEY AS ME HOW IM DOIN, I SAY IM JUST FINE-)

tal got up to put his bowl away as well once he had finished

tal took his seat next to his sister and began to eat

i have a lot of dreams with made up people in them that i become friends with. all the memories of those dreams are few and hard to explain, as dreams go, but i remember this one where it was me and some other people all living on this weird farm type thing where everyone had their own plot of land. this guy was pulling me in a wagon and we were talking about animal crossing for some reason? another dream ive had is when i was a dragon and i had to...babysit other dragons? that one was fun, i just dont remember it practically at all lol and i also had one a few years ago where me and the rest of my class were sitting in my bathroom and the teacher was reading us a story, and she just said "you going on a diet or something, pepper?" and i looked down to see i had stinkbugs all over me that was it that was literally the dream

"hey sis" tal ruffled his sisters hair

"okay, ill be there in a bit..." tal takes one last deep breathe of the fresh air and climbs down the laddar. he pauses when hes halfway down. opening up his wings, he jumps off ...and tumbles to the ground "whats the point of having these things if they wont even work" he asks himself, stretching out and looking at his completely useless wings. he sighs and limps his way to the cabin, taking his time

tbh the forums have definitely calmed down since a few years ago... i remember the off topic section was like a death zone you entered at your own risk. but that still must be overwhelming to be the only mod on here you do a very good job tho!

the land was teeming with life it vanished so suddenly the storm took it all it even took you wowowowow roleplay : D so this is basically about a tribe that all got separated onto different islands after a storm came but theyre all connected to each other pulled towards each other so ye! this is my first time doing an rp, and ive only ever been in one, so please bare with me because im probably going to be very bad at this! form for your characters- name- gender- picture/screenie-
