Spacestar TheThundersuncat
My AHVHC tribe survived and gained more cold genes. In their place, a new tribe will try to survive the fiery pits of hell.
Spacestar TheThundersuncat
They cannot worship Flame, but I suppose they have been deceived by Lace, goddess of the drowned and rogue males. The legends of immortal spirits have spread far across the land. Yarrowspark, a forbidden child between a mountain nicheling and a rogue male, aswell as Strifestep, a disagreeable young fisher, were drawn to them. Up close, the island of legend looks like Texas. Who knew Strifestep isn't happy with Yarrowbark's meager offerings. Against his warnings, she looks for more food alone. She doesn't know how to fight But neither does the fiend, it seems They're back to where they started. Out of food, but at least together. Will she learn to value him more, now? Spacestar TheThundersuncat
The two found Yarrowspark's father. However, they don't have any food to offer, so he leaves again soon Strifestep still couldn't find a second berry bush in 13 days. Horrible luck. They have a child anyway. Lostfire, one against all odds, doesn't mutate anything and is born with webbed paw/no paw. As if this line hadn't been cursed enough, a predator appears and eats the flaming orange child Mothdew is born. He is stronger than his parents, but just as slow A second predator appears. One kills Yarrowbark. It's almost dead, but strifestep has no strenght. Her better, second child is killed. Strifestep picks up the dead predator's meat while Mothdew escapes. Or so I thought. It goes after him instead Ever helpful in rogue-fashion, she becomes pregnant with Slippingdust's child. Skipshort is strong, but unfortunately can't gather. Neither can Flamesearch, her next baby. But in the grasses, even more danger looms It's no use. She gives her life so that at least one of her children might survive RIP
Spacestar TheThundersuncat
Skipshort decides to follow the predator. Meanwhile Skippingdust is a single dad, but can't really provide with no paws When they're old enough, they flee again At least there's some food. A wild mumblefin appears! But I'm not sure if he's worth investing into. Of course, he also ran away. Mossdapple greets them. He has two paws and is accepted automatically. Spacestar TheThundersuncat
Searchflame carves out some space by the nest. Meanwhile the males find two shrivelled up berry bushes She has a child quickly, before the rogues can get to her. Skipshort is busy defending the meager bushes from Mumblefin Sootgravel's sick, but it doesn't matter here... unike the predator I can't attack. Maybe it's old? Spacestar TheThundersuncat
Skipshort is killed by a new one, but it gets us some food. I can't escape from predator 2 + coalstalk. The rogue at least blocked the predator So we're even. The child also has good strenght+ resistance. Life's gotten easier with more foodsources. We still don't have enough for one more baby. Or Coolstrong. Wth? He's neiher strong nor good at keeping cool. Fake news!

Spacestar TheThundersuncat
No more bushes were found. Just more danger And this blind digger. Thunderbat was an awful next child, so he'll do. He'll find more bushes But Searchflame has to be banished for now. I'm sorry The tribe did a lot of starving until Thunderbat grew up. When he's a bit older yet, the minimum daily yield will raise from 3 to 5 pieces Or not. Yikes There's no hiding with white fur... New heirs Timberwave, who looks a lot like dad, and Bearthunder, named after the now dead Thunderbat. Can't believe a nicheling named bat died because of bad eyesight. Still, at his premature demise, flames rose for the first time
Spacestar TheThundersuncat
But... he didn't die? A new heiress is born, Shellblaze The thunderbat is approached by more nichelings with unpronounceable names. The flames will decide his fate And a tribe's, which despite it's strenght, is completely defenseless
Spacestar TheThundersuncat
Everyone in the main camp died, but the heirs escaped Shellblaze feels complety lost in the haze. Rain falls Thunderbat has had a better life away from the clan. Despite the ashes covering the ground, food is plentiful. He even impresses Brook by slaying a bearyena! He would name their daughter Lightbell, after Soaringbell, who fearlessly died for her children. She was his half sister (being a rogue child) but he loved her dearly. Shellblaze surely doesn't hide which sons she prefers Dandelion is "useless" in the desert sun, after all. One day, a wanderer steals their food. Little Lion sets out to prove once and for all that he's better at something And runs headfirst into a predator. Luckily for him, being invinsible has its perks.
Spacestar TheThundersuncat
Dandelion's time has come The result is... 2. His mind is strong, but in the end, he is just not ready. Little Lion is cooked medium- raw. An I-steal-your-food introduces himself as Palebelly. They're not impressed. But decidly more nice than the neighbours Swipestone goes looking for his son. Unfortunately, all he finds is an attacked bat family. The camp is evacuated, but it's of no use. Swipestone himself is killed by the predator. Both Brook and Shellblaze starve this night. One of the predators passes, aswell. Down to 4 nichelings, these two quickly escape. Moaning just has to wait
Spacestar TheThundersuncat
Thunderbat guides Lightbell to the outskirts of the territory. However, her bigs ears still detect the monster After some rounds of skirting around its radar... The one who ate her family draws near again. She recognizes it by it's foul scent and singed fur. Still, another growl can be heard. With their home surrounded on both ends, they can only really flee west Meanwhile, the sole berry bush these two share just isn't enough. Swipestone's baby sister isn't a child anymore, either. To compensate for the drought, they split. Oddly enough, he gains many admirers. Whom he hits daily. This may or may not have attracted more trouble... Little Dove is born. The father was of Swipestone's line. Unfortunately, by the time her mother reaches for rations, the child has weaseled off into the grasses, forever lost.
Spacestar TheThundersuncat
Many days pass. Swipestone is forced to retreat. Because RandomWanderer is an idiot, they accidently have Lostsoar. (Because naming all dying children after Lost/Flame is a sane thing to do) The Swipestone fan club is heartbroken No matter. They also find the Wanderer Palebelly's daughter, Sagebelly. However, the pregnant Palmwhisker has a soft spot for children. Potentially losing her own didn't help... Lightbell also spots a beautiful Dove in the grasses (Lace is torturing mothers again, I swear). Still, she can't really afford to invite him, but he's nice company. Spacestar TheThundersuncat
It's time for a tricky escape Because saving Dove from ... becoming a teen mother, by making her a teen mother, is morallys superior. At least Scar is very pretty. As was Bristleberry. Weird, scary names. Even the resident rogue stalker joined the migration. But food isn't everything But there isn't much time. Their children might be eaten any day, anyway. Jaggedbranch is the result of some profitable incest. Lucky. This I-steal-your-food won't be, though Poor Stormwing :/. Lostsoar takes after dad, it seems, on a brighter note...
