kohta12
I'm not sure if this is a bug or not but upon destroying the ice in mountains the creature i got out of it didn't have any ancient genes and medium body double wing genes and such, is this intentional for the new genes or a bug? I know you can't see the tail but he has a medium tail, no recessive traits either (Not sad about the wings though!)
Jojo
Sounds like a bug. Would be news to me if wings were ancient genes though how rare they are for me they might as well be ^^

I know you can't see the tail but he has a medium tail, no recessive traits either (Not sad about the wings though!) i started a new island to see if it continued on and i had went to frost lands and there were multiple frozen creatures, one did indeed come out with mega horns but the second was again a niche with wings, its not exactly a bug i hate since i almost immediately get to have a tribe of flying creatures lol sorry if im posting too much just want to cover the bug entirely so it can be fixed
Philo
This is actually intentional ^^ Wings are counted as an ancient gene. The ideas was that these flying Nichelings lived a long time ago. They went exstinct and only managed to keep living on Whale island. Some of the Whale Island Nichelings flew away from their home to other islands, so you have a very small chance of encoutering a wild one outside of Whale Island
