She went silent again.

She sighed after a bit and turned to look at her. "You should leave. Wouldn't want to get attached to a corpse."

“Do you want me to leave?” She asked

“Do you want me to leave?” She asked

"I don't WANT you to do anything. Just saying that it would be BETTER if you leave before you actually start to care." She said harshly.

She then turned and mumbled something to herself.

She lowered her gaze. “But then you’ll be alone..”

Siana widened her eyes.

Siana widened her eyes.

"Does it really matter? I'm going to be dead by 3 moonfalls. Whether I'm lonely or not at that point won't exactly matter, would it?" She replied, kind of sad yet trying to keep up her harsh tone.

Siana runs away as to not be seen.

Midnight sighs and goes to the back of the cave. She lays down, thinking of her home. "Shouldn't have yelled at her..."

Susi runs out of the den, the hot savannah breeze propelling her paw forward, perhaps it was the matron Rela herself aiding her movements, guiding her paws away.

Susi makes it home.

”where were you?! You pathetic rat you could have gotten killed.” Lyra spits halfheartedly

“Sorry mom, I’ll do better next time..” she mumbled and walks off.

A small nicheling's paw clung to the sand at the side of the land. By the next wave, the top half of her body appeared. Suddenly, the body twitched, life rushing back into their lungs.

They jolted awake and coughed, emptying her lungs of water. Their paws did their best to carry her away from the water, but could only go so far. They brought her into the grass before giving out.

Her eyes shined with a layer of fear, desperation, and more feelings to go on. They were slowly covered by their fleshy cover as the nicheling fell unconscious.

An orange nicheling waded into the water narrowing her eyes at the scrap of fur before picking it up.

She carried the dripping cub to the prison. “Another sacrifice.” She whispered with a tone resembling glee

Midnight looked over and squinted. She hesitantly got up and walked over. She sniffed the new cub, picking up the scent of... Home. She recoiled and started growling, running to the back of the cave and looking back just to hiss a bit. It was unknown if she knew this creature, but she obviously didn't like them.

Susi couldn’t sit still, she kept fidgeting, longing to return to the cave.

Went the new cub woke up, they freaked out. They jumped up and looked around. Their eyes landed on the guards, then on Midnight. She was on edge because Midnight was just sitting there growling at her.

Midnight pressed herself up against the cave wall, her pupils dialating. She REALLY hated home.

Sparrow just stared at her a bit before getting some ideas. If she was trapped somewhere, why not mess around a bit. "Hey, snappy, shut it." She said, taking a few steps closer to Midnight.

Susi felt her paws walking on the sharp savannah grass. When had she started walking? When had she started running? Oh well it didn’t matter, she ran up to the sacred tree and hoisted herself onto a branch.

Midnight continued to growl. There was a hint of fear, which Sparrow immediately picked up on.

Sparrow got closer, testing the patience of the female.

Midnight's growling got louder as she unsheathed her claws. Despite her strength, she was shaking a bit.

"Huh." Was the one thing Sparrow replied with before returning a hiss.

She leaped down and ran towards the cave, her paws skimming the hot grass as she dashed over the Island, it was hard work with her stubby cub legs but she made it to the prison and ran past the guard

Midnight felt threatened and swung at Sparrow. Sparrow attempted to dodge, but her movement just made it worse. Midnight got her right on the boople snoot.

Sparrow hissed and clawed at one of Midnight's eyes. "What the heck?! Control your instincts!" Sparrow whisper-yelled.

She ran in and tackled Sparrow, making sure to not dig her long threatening claws into her stupid mean face. “Stop antagonizing her!”

"OOOF-- Hey! Don't yell at me! She growled first!" She hissed, trying to kick you off.

Midnight brought a paw up to her eye, getting some blood stuck to the fur on her paw.
