[My first ever tribe!! Yay!]

Hi guys,

I started my very first Niche adventure just today. It was an awesome experience! Thanks to @Jojo (and @Philo too!) for giving me the chance to enjoy this game

I was overjoyed to see when I loaded in on tiny green that my starter female had brown eyes, swimming tail, white antlers and purr snout! (Yes, I started in Sandbox. Is that a sin?) she also however had double digging claws. She was a dark red color so I named her ruby

The male, tadukku, was pink with blue eyes and cracker jaw, one velvet paw and one claw. I would have renamed him but I kind of forgot to lol. I used to not like cracker jaw as much but it’s growing on me. Just look at Tadukku’s big goofy smile!  

here they are! So cute!

I was pretty lucky because on day six, a bearyena and her cub spawned. I easily killed the bearyena and Ruby was able to heal all the damage her mate took. We have several bearyena hybrids in our tribe now

here is one of my favorite Nichelings so far, Grey, daughter of the starters. I love her grey fur and horns and striking blue eyes. She is so pretty ❤️ Her siblings are named Rei, Garnet, Silk,  and Dust. 

Here is my favorite boy so far. I named him Thunder after taking the screenshot. My first antennae and also first purr snout besides Ruby! He also has those gorgeous eyes again, as well as a bearyena claw and regular claw. 

And then...my first twins! And they were copy paste! I named them Cloud and Sky  They also have pretty blue eyes, bearyena claw and nimble fingers ❤️

NVM the save is saved! The mouse just needed to be switched off and on again!

My mouse froze on my first save ever. Is there any hope of restoring my tribe and how do I exit? Other questions come later

I love deer, unicorns, dogs, cats, and birbs. And of course Nichelings! Pretty much all animals except the pesky bugs. Also, I am scared of some caterpillars. I have chickens and sheep, and they help fuel my love of animals

I have a question. What would happen if a creature had one bird and one bat wing? Would it affect their flight at all?

It would look weird but so cool at the same time :)

[General gene quality of Rogues and Rogue males.]

I agree that you should be able to increase or decrease chances of finding wanderers with certain genes. For example I might want to increase chances of finding a purr snout or antennae or winged wanderer and decrease chances of derp snout or hemophilia. Or even certain immunities!

[Temperature]

Maybe you could set the temperature at an island so it’s more likely to be hotter or colder. So not every day on certain islands can be zero heat.

What poke means is that there could be separate genes that determine if the animal has heterochromia or not. The most dominant gene is no heterochromia, then right eye heterochromia, then left eye.

I have another suggestion!!

What if as well as -1 cold resistance it also gave +1 heat resistance and something I call +1 cooling (like radiation but with the opposite effect)

Because I imagine the wings could provide shade for the nicheling and it could fan surrounding nichelings with its wings (this would only go into effect in hot weather)

[Continent Island]

I thought of something similar, an Earth Biome!

It is similar in that it contains all biomes representing real continents on earth. There could be a snowy Antarctica, deep jungles of south America, African Savannah, Himalayan mountains, and swamps like in the southern US! There will also be an ocean obviously. Each individual island varies in that the earth is from a different perspective each time, ie the center might be Asia, or the Atlantic ocean, or north america.
