  1. I'll take the male baby Coatl, he's so pretty. User is mhiahia.
  2. Ah, okay. The genes were all sold out when I finally had the time to start with scrying, and now I was worried about what to do. At least I saved up enough gems to buy all the rare ones I want.
  3. I'm confused about how the banescale genes in the treasure shop work. Will they be available again or are they sold out forever?
  4. Ok, so my first girl will be going from this: to this: Her "sister" who has started with this look: Will get this one instead: And last, my little scattered ray of sunshine: Is going to look like this once I'm finished: What do you guys think of them?
  5. I think she looks awesome! She would probably be classified as an eyeburner, which I personally like a lot. I love the idea of dragons with toxic, vibrant colours, and the pink in combination with the orange and the green looks pretty great to me.
  6. Goodness, look at him! He's such a precious little ray of sun! And his tertiary is ruby, which fits his other colours perfectly! Aaaaaah, I'm so happy!
  7. I just used the tri-color scatter scroll on him, which basically randomizes all three colours of a dragon. It costs 350 gems, so if he looks worse than before I'll be disappointed. I'm about to see how he looks now.
  8. Bought this guy for 29'000 treasure at the auction house: His tertiary gene is brown, so I understand why they sold him. Wish me luck, I'm about to scatter him...if it fails really badly I'll maybe rage quit the game for week or so.
  9. Before I follow the will of the Flight Rising gods, I shall present you all with my two Banescale girls: She's the older one, here colours are Garnet, Algae and Spring (Her eyes look awesome with certain genes): She's the younger one, she might not look like it, but her tertiary gene is Robin, which makes here a whole lot prettier): Example:
  10. The craziest thing just happened! I was thinking about buying a cheap banescale male and using some of my 1218 gems to buy a scatter-scroll, so I could have another chance at getting a random dragon: But since I hate spending anything remotely similar to money, I was reluctant to do so. Then I decided that I was going to scavenge in ice territory (with ten turns, since I stopped feeding my dragons) and IF i got an ice egg, I'd spend the gems. AND GUESS WHAT I FOUND! AN UNHATCHED ICE EGG!
  11. But why do all those other pronouns exist if they don't equate gender? Aren't pronouns meant to show/represent your gender? Because else, why would misgendering be a thing then? Just trying to understand.
  12. Could someone elaborate on that, please? It's a new thing for me.
  13. Could you give me a source where I can read about all those genders? After what I've found so far, it seems that this comes from the Facebook gender possibilities, where (according to my limited knowledge) there are multiple versions of one identity, like cis-man, cis-born man, cis boy, cis-born boy, etc. I really don't want to discriminate here, I'm just curious.
  14. I personally like diversity, but not too many nichelings. My strategy is to settle in on an island for a few generations, until the tribe grows too big (which is in my definition reached when there are 15-18 tribe members). Then I travel on, if I don't like the next few islands the problem solves itself because I travel a lot, which means less food and less babies. After that, you can settle in again and play more story driven. I also take a lot of screenshots, so I can look back on everything that the tribe did.
  15. Thanks you! I had planned to change that, but I forgot it right away. Now I know what animal to use for teeth!
  16. Decided to try and practise a bit more, using my two favorite boys. I was hoping that you guys could give me feedback and tell me what I could improve. I know that the ears of the right one are not done correctly, but I am too lazy to change them right now.
  17. I finally managed to unlock every gene! And I managed to unlock the achievement as well! Now my very inbred species may finally retire! Off they go! Pretty mix-babies: Cute family:
  18. I'm joining too! My boy Roku: Roku spent his entire life on an archipelagelo island picking berries and hunting. One of his favorite activities is swimming. He is calm and likes to play-wrestle. He would probably be extremely thrilled if he saw snow for the first time.
  19. I'm sorry, but how am I supposed to get past this? The only way is to have a winged female that can have babies on the tree.
  20. Decided to try and reach home island again today. I decided on doing no mutations and go as quick as possible. Tracked the family line down too. Took 2:29 hours, 18 generations and 180 days in game. I cracked open three frozen nichelings and got saber tooth fangs, mammoth foot and wings. Didn't get the steam achievement though, just as last time.
  21. Warning - Disease Got this idea when we talked about the immune system in class. Maybe it's not that good since we already have immunodeficiency in game, but I think this could generate a bigger obstacle. I had to translate the terms, so something may be incorrect. This is how it would work: The virus is sexually transmitted. It has a certain chance (25%?) of infecting the mating partner. If a female is infected, she also has a (higher?) chance of transferring the virus to her baby. The virus has a varying incubation time (between three and thirteen days) and during this time you won't be able to see that an animal has been infected. The incubation time works like this: After three days there's a chance that the animal is sick the next day. This chance grows bigger after every night. Wanderers would have a low chance of being infected, and rogue males maybe a 25 percent chance. I think this could change sickness from being a minor inconvenience to actually becoming a struggle.
  22. Alright, I got a ton of rare gene dragons that I want to give away: Aiya: Kalina: Female Wildclaw: Male Wildclaw: Male Wildclaw: @Green the Gene Maker I think I promised you a wildclaw. If you like one of those three, tell me. @Renio2490 I sent you the baby you wanted, if you've changed your mind then tell me.
