So I’m pretty sure you all have been to arcades before, right?

If you haven’t, one, I feel sorry for you and two they’re these places you can go to with a bunch of boxed video games, like instead of Your normal pc or console game they’re in boxes or “cabinets”, mostly like about this tall? (gesture to height)

Anyways this isn’t a story about that, it’s about one of these boxed games, more specifically named “Cabinet man”

So this Game was well.. How do I put this.. Addictive? Like, there would be a line of kids waiting to play this game.

So naturally, I had to find out what all the fuss was about, so I got in line and waited like.. What? An hour maybe? 40 minutes? It was a long time.

But I finally got to the front of the line and played the game for a little while and honestly, I saw why people liked it but I didn't think it was good to the point where there had to be LINES of kids.

Anyways Uhm, that’s- Thats not the point either though, it was what happened to this game and why it got removed is the point:

So what happened was this old dude that worked at the arcade died, they never found a body, but they did find a seemingly completely done Game cabinet (That's what I’ll be calling the boxed games) so they moved it into the arcade. It Immediately shot to the most popular game.

But then things started to go… downhill. Kids started having seizures while playing, and had to be taken to hospitals. 

So they had the game unplugged and had an “out of order” sign placed on it.

The kids got mad, like MAD mad,they stopped going to the Arcade and the day before it was supposed to close for good two people broke in and just began vandalizing the stuff, and then they got to Cabinet man.

They Bashed that one in the most, after they were done there wasn't much left but a crumpled hunk of metal.

But you wanna know the weird part?
