  1. Thanks for the tip! I think I'll use this island for the redo
  2. And also, is there any way to make it so the damage you apply to other creatures through the attack interaction goes by the damage multipliers? When I would attack, it didn't multiply it by 2 or 3, but when I used commands to apply the damage it did. Is there any other way to get around that?
  3. Good news, I have screenshots of each of the starters' genes so I can recreate them. Also, does anyone know another frost lands/mountain I could start on that would be easier for this challenge? Berries don't matter since we're carnivores. Do the easier mountains have more animals to hunt too? Which island would you reccomend and why?
  4. Thank you for your suggestions! I feel like this might be a bit OP...but I need to know more about what certain creatures give. What do balance bears and walrus deer give? This seems pretty fair, will probably go for the higher end of that if I do take this suggestion
  5. (Also just realized both these guys lived in mountains/frostlands!)
  6. Also, how much food would a nicheling be worth? Cause when I find a wanderer I roll to see if they're a saber, and if not they're not the same species and are liable to be hunted. So I need to know and I don't know what number would make sense
  7. Guys I failed this, I think Imma start on an easier island. Unfortunately I don't know if I can remake the same exact sabers, but I will try.
  8. Yeah, that's interesting! I thought you just got lucky lol. I breed everyone as much as possible and I don't have too much difficulty at least keeping the main characters and a few basic facts about the others straight. So I just have a whole ton of nichelings. Everyone has their own play style.
  9. This is very interesting, having Adam not move on to the next island with his mate and children, and having only one child of Adam to start with! (I'm assuming and hoping they have home island immunity). My Adam and Eve had at least 7 children, (5 on the original island, 2 of which were left there), and Adam traveled onto the next island with their children. I have not seen anyone go exactly this route of the least possible number of children of Adam before!
  10. or you could say everything that happened after you uploaded the save was a dream or nightmare. You didn't update this thread after uploading the file so nobody would know the difference anyways
  11. Welp, I guess you could try and reinact what happened with the older savefile to try and get where you left off...that would probably epicly fail but might be a fun thing to try.
  12. Interesting. Sometimes when a good idea hits us we don't even realize it
  13. This seems like sickness city! Probably quite challenging
  14. What have I done? Now the apeslayers are moving on to kill their own family. Other nichelings! It will be a challenge though. Maybe the only challenging thingvleft for the candycane tanks!
  15. King must do something! And he will....hopefully
  16. Thank you @MODTRESS and @mhiahia. The children you provided will be apart of the playthrough. They both have very interesting backstories and I'm excited to work with them
  17. Go ahead and fill out a form with how she died in place of reason for never being born. Use her biological parents for the personality slots since it is mainly used for their personality in so far as genetics plays a role
  18. Send the pics of their mother and father. I will most likely breed the parents in-game/randomize their genes based on their parents' genes. But if you want to you can do that yourself and send their genes. Or say their expected appearance under Other. Still send their parents' genes though. Send a completed form and I'll take a look at it
  19. Sounds good to me! I always love me a good rp and story! Hmmm... did you already try and conquer home island by attacking Adam's tribe? Nevermind that they're your relatives. Or you could try and take them to the frostlands.
  20. Yeah, on second look it looks like only one paw is slightly off the rock but the nicheling is still standing even so, not levitating. Sorry to bug you about it
  21. Is it weird that I felt bad for the ape?? Of course, we are just avenging the many nichelings who have died at their hands...Also Netira is gorgeous btw. I like how they're all peppermints lol. It's like candycanes of death
  22. That's too bad! Well, I may take one of them if others don't take up the slots
  23. This is a playthrough I have planned where nichelings who were never born get a chance to live. Their mother maybe died, or they were deleted by console commands, or another reason. Whatever the case, they've now been given a chance at life on an island created specifically for them. And you can throw your never-born nichelings into the mix! They will start as one day old babies, and have to survive 2-3 days completely helpless. After that, 7-10 days of the one-gemmed stage. Then teens for about 20 days. It will be a long road to adulthood for the young nichelings, but there is a chance wanderers could adopt them. If you want to submit a nicheling for consideration, they must be one that was conceived in one of your playthroughs but never born for whatever reason. If they were never actually conceived but have an impressive backstory I may consider them. Regarding parents' genes, a screenshot would be best, if you don't have one try and be specific as possible. If blind genes send a pic of them along with speculation. Parents' personality is mainly important in-so-far as genetics plays a role in a creature's personality. If personality unknown put unknown. Standing is rank, you can put their tribe rank, or simply member, wanderer, rogue, ect. This line is for both parents. Relatives can be notable for uniqye personality, famed deeds (good or bad), rank, unusual skills, ect. This is not for the parents and you can put NA. You must provide at least a base reason (mpther died, deleted using commands, ect) and that will give me creative liscense to fill in the rest. You can tell more detail or make a story surrounding it, though. Other is for background info that doesn't fit into the catagories above. The personality of your character will be determined by their genes and experiances, so don't say what sort of a nicheling they are Here's the form: Father's genes: Mother's genes: Father's personality: Mother's personality: Parents' standing in tribe: Notable relatives: Reason for never being born: Island on which they were conceived/died in womb: Other:
  24. That is very impressive
  25. Looks like you're doing good! Though having imbred killing machines is not morally satisfying, we shall finally turn the tables on the apes! Though, who will collect the food since there are no collectors? On second thought, guess you can eat apes
