Rata stumbled around, his vision getting worse and his pain coming more and more. Had Meadow left? No, she was coming, he saw her. (should I roll for if we find water or there's some nearby or do you already know/have rolled?) @Polly @Cookboi

(I rolled for strength) Rata focused, he drowned out the pain as much as he could. He had to find water, it was his and Meadow's best chance at living. He stumbled forward a few steps, looking around for a puddle...nanything...

(find some water? @Polly I'm preoccupied with dying ATM, dunno if Rata has enough strength or focus, even though he's tough, maybe I roll)

(have u already rolled or should I? Also do these guys not know what fire is I just realized?? or is this something else than fire?)

(OH IM DEAD) Rata knew this was killing him, he wanted to keep trying though...he yelped and let go instinctively. This wasn't working....he couldn't think much of anything except about hwo much the burning hurt. Water....that sounded good right about now... "Water," he croaked.

Rata positioned his fangs and mouth and then pulled backwards steadily with increasing strength.

(I thought it was armoured body for some reason but yess I think it is heat body, the onmne with yellow-tipped spike things)

"Turn around," commanded a frieghtened Rata, "I need to try and get that off, maybe I can pull it off with my fangs..." he didn't know if it was a good idea, and he might hurt her trying to do so, but it was the best one he had...

(Also I guess this goes before or in-between my post)

Rata was greatly relieved and pulled her out as the plant unfurled. (She probably will fight him but she must be weak from the ordeal so he's pulling her out whether she likes it or not LOL). His first instinct is to try and lick her off to stop the bleeding, but he fears she won't let him. He examines her, seeing that strange slime. It looks dangerous somehow... "We need to get that off your tail."

(Also the nicheling inside can never attack it...but this isn't exactly the same as regular niche so)

(So is the plant dead but we still can't get her out, or just taking damage? Also should nightfall come now or soon? And Kirlur still hasn't responded so IDK if we should have the tribe notice, and are the locals whoever they are gonna show up?)

(Also the exploring party is a bit distracted atm, but somebody's gotta notice they're missing soon)

(Also, how much damage would Rata do in one hit of the plant with all his strenght/how strong is he based on his genes? And thus how much damage should Meadow take before she gets out? Or should I roll some dice again to see if she makes it out and how much damage/how fast getting her out is working?) @Polly@Cookboi

Rata ran right at the plant, going into destroyer mode despite being terrified. He slamed into it with his body and bit with his saber fangs, trying to get Meadow out of there with his one more delicate paw while smashing with his mammoth foot.

(Also I would probably join this but I have too much to do an=lready, good luck guys!)

(Is there a command to put all grass back? PROBABLY NOT but it would be great if there was. I would like make a save copy, clear grass, mark which squares I want to tp to, and then go back to the one with grass and tp them but idk if that would work)

(Speaking of danger we should roll to see if Meadow walks right into a maneating plant, ape, or whatever else is on this island because she doesn't appear to be paying any attention to her surroundings, of course neither is Rata but he's following behind. Also they could find a plant that has food on it, ROLL DICE, I love dice LOL))

Ruta wanted to see what his sister would choose first. Either one sounded exciting to him, but boring in some ways too. Like picking food? BORING. Settling down when the right spot was found BORING! He would rather just keep exploring forever, but this island would be alot more exciting than being back home. And at least he would have his sister and brother to talk to, hopefully anyways. @da1sy

(That would be beautiful, though you could never actually tell when somebody pinged you for something important your notifications would be so full all the time!)

Rata was torn...he wanted to protect this nicheling, but why? That wasn't going to elevate his status in the tribe. In fact, it would lower their respect for him if he ran off with her. But he felt a kin-ship with her that came from them bth being at the bottom of the totem-pole, and perhaps something else too... You've been down that road before, all it brings is pain. Yet he wanted so much to be loved, and to love. The tribe could defend themselves for a bit, he had to make sure she was OK. Even if she never loved him back, he had to protect her. He couldn't endure a loss like that again, knowing he could've prevented it. While the rest of the tribe was deciding who would do what, he slipped away into the grasses after her. [Also if anyone is wondering, Rata's picker is really broken.....so yeah....]
