Applesauce
Baba guides Daisy out of the plant and in the middle of her and Nina. From here, Baba can see that some of the pink liquid is mixed with blood. She cleans it off in a motherly fashion. Daisy doesn't say anything except a shuttered 'Thank you.' Poor thing looks traumatized. 'Don't mention it. From now on we should really be more careful where we step.' The others agree.

Applesauce
Now the only question is where will they go from here in this strange, mismatched land. 2
Applesauce
Nina finds a berry bush. They food after Baba spent all that time getting Daisy out. Nina could have been gathering but hey, being queen of an island is work. (again, very excited) 2
Applesauce
And very luckily, the next morning brings rain! Sweet rain brings lush berries. While smelling for any potential danger, Baba catches scent of another sunplant. She gave the one near the killer plant to Daisy, of course. She is slightly older than Nina and had worse injuries than her. But since there's two and Nina is still injured it works out fine. 2
Applesauce
'There's another sunplant over that way,' she points. 'I'm gonna take Nina.' Daisy stays behind and gathers berries. What is it about this bush that makes them want to blink
Applesauce
Meanwhile, Baba and Nina find the sunplant. 'Hmmmm... what's it taste like?' Nina asks 'I hear it's good.' Baba replies. 'Were you a healer on the hills? It seems you know a lot about medicine stuff.' 'Kind of.' 'I heard they live with bearyenas on the hills. Did you know any?' 'My grandfather.' 'Wow so that make you 1/3s bearyena!' 'Quarter actually, but close.' Baba hands the curious girl the yellow sunplant fruit. 'Nina might have a chance on the hills.' Baba thinks as she watches Nina wolf down the fruit. 2
Applesauce
After a two successful healings and two near death incouters with meat-eating plants, the trio is quiet worn out. Hopefully there will be some bliss in the days to come.

Not in a huge rush to find mates. I like to focus more on story than building an actual tribe but if the chance arrises I definitely would like to have some babies 1
Applesauce
Speaking of mates, in the morning Nina finds a tall handsome creature. 'Why hello handsome!' Baba, scare Nina can't tell the difference between a mound of dirt and a potenial boyfriend, reminds her it's only dirt. There goes all her hopes and dreams. 2
Applesauce
Daisy hears a stag-mole in the grasses. Baba tires to catch it but if flees back into the earth and down into the firey pits of not-heaven where it came from. She never was very good at hunting moles 2
Applesauce
Food has become a bit of an issue, but thankfully in the distance is a nice nut tree. With two of the three being able to crack nuts it seems like it would make a good food source. 1

Applesauce
In the morning they further investigate the tree Baba finds the beach.
Applesauce
And as they sit under the tree, gathering nuts in the quiet shade Nina wonders. She, being an orphan, never really got taught the strangers and the dangers. The two nichelings sitting either side of her were nobodies back on Leo's old island. Now there all she's got. But where exactly did they come from? 'So, Baba. I was wondering after our little talk the other day why you left the hills. I mean, if it's not to much to ask. Seems like you remember it fine.' Nina asks, a little nervous. Baba thinks for a moment, looking up at the tree branches. 'I left because someone died. Someone who I was close to.' She looks down with a sorrow face. 'I couldn't heal them.' 'Oh, I'm so sorry.' For the first time Nina feels something very deep. Compassion. 'I understand.' Baba looks at her. 'Pig?' She nods. 'I'm ok now though. Being out in the world with you guys, it's made me better.' 2
Applesauce
They sit for a moment in silance. Than Baba says 'Daisy, what about you?' 'Huh?' 'Why'd you leave your tribe?' Says Nina. 'I.. well...' She sighs. 'I just didn't feel like I belonged.' 'Nonsense! We need more detail.' Nina whines. Baba cringes. They're close to a nerve. 'I just didn't like it! Ok?' 'Yeah but why!?' Nina continues. 'Oh no Nina...' 'Because I didn't have a choice, Nina! They kicked me out!' She shouts. Nerve hit.
Applesauce
Daisy storms off, leaving Baba and Nina alone under the tree. Nina sits, stunned. It didn't even occur to her that kind of stuff can happen to someone. Being abandon, being banished. She feels terrible.
Applesauce
Daisy sits on the beach, thinking about how she reacted to Nina. Maybe she still has some left over feelings from her past. Maybe she's been ignoring that fact that she's felt lonely inside ever since it happened. Maybe deep down she really misses her brother, her mother, her father, and her brith island. She shouldn't have reacted like that if she didn't care any more.
Applesauce
Suddenly she hears footsteps coming up in the side behind her. Nina sits beside her leans her head on her fur. 'I'm sorry.' She says. Daisy puts her head on Ninas. 'No, I'm sorry.' She means that to Nina, but also to herself. It's not long until Baba comes along, wraps her arm around Daisy and all are together... Sleeping soundly on the beach. 2

That was beautifully written and now we know who was banished, and who was abandoned from before (unless I'm an idiot and thought I had gotten it from the dialouge but didnt). I guess the one who is lost is clear now...although if Baba was the lost one IDK how it meshes with what she said...but you probably do Anyways, I am loving the story and get that you want to concentrate on building it. Also I'm still curious to know why Baba shouldn't have children.... I still miss Leo, maybe at some point you could do a playthrough of just him on the jungle island starting a jungle tribe. It would be a challenge, and we'd run the risk of having him die ending his story in tragedy, but I would be interested in seeing that. However, I don't expect you to do them both at once! I love how you put humor into everything, most of your posts are funny Some are really deep, and some are both. It's quite unique. I have no specific suggestions for this playthrough at the moment other than finding wanderers to grow the tribe, but you already know that. Will be looking forward to the next part!

Thanks for noticing the humor! It's my favorite. And you're right for who's who. I'll say that if your still wondering about Baba, I didn't reveal everything just yet. I think there's still some more backstory to cover.
