I am working on that new playthrough but unfortunately I have a habit of doing WAAAY too much worldbuilding and characterization before I can even begin the story so it's taking forever and a half to actually start.

Not to mention coming up with title ideas is giving me grief, for a hint it will have a ranking system and I'm trying to come up with titles because I feel most of mine have book-like titles and I want to continue that trend but unfortunately I am blanking-

I literally have all the next plot points for WildClan but writing them into existence is proving to be harder than I thought, I really am trying to get at least some sort of update out today though! Know I do have exciting plots set up for WildClan's future :3

About 1/3 the way through writing the next part of WildClan (Writing motivation is eluding me at the moment unfortunately-) so y'all get to see some Clangen cat drawings!

This one isn't meant to be shaded and super detailed, it's a drawing of a cat from my FIRST EVER clangen file back when it was like permanent white background and without relationship bars and stuff so yeah, This is Flashhail!

This is a drawing from a few months ago I think? Anyway this guy isn't actually IN the clan but a kittypet from outside the clan that one of my clan cats had a secret relationship with despite being the deputy and being in a relationship with the leader- The two ended up breaking up but this guy had a neat coat pattern and I gave him a pretty collar and took liberaties with the design because I AM THE ARTIST and therefore no one can stop me :3!

Twinkle lights is so cute!!!! Also your art improved so much over the last like year or two, it's really visible

Thank you! Twinkle Light's design is absolutely one of my favorite clangen designs in my opinion :3

And hearing that my art style has improved it literally so awesome to hear from other people, because y'know it's hard to see it when you're seeing it day by day, so thanks so much!

Alright so I want to ask you guys something relating to my niche playthroughs. I don't know if anyone noticed but I usually don't post unless I have at least three scenes written out for a single post because I want y'all to get more content per post. The disadvantage of that is that when I do that sometimes I struggle heavily with a scene, causing me to only post once every 1-3 months because of fighting one scene which means I don't post often.

But recently I was struck by a potential idea of what I could do. So I want to ask y'all if you would rather me stick to my current schedule of posting more content per update with a slower update rate OR if you guys would rather have me post updates with less scenes, perhaps even only one scene per update if the writing is rough, but have more frequent updates than I currently do.

To make this easier I'll ask you guys to use reactions to vote, though you can certainly reply to explain why you feel one way if you feel inclined to.

If you want slower updates with more content give this a Thumbs Up, if you'd rather have smaller but more frequent updates give me an Eek!

Literally whatever is more comfortable for you. I'm a writer myself and the struggle is real, so really however and whatever you post is always amazing!!!

Thank you so much! Writing is in fact a struggle though lol-

Considering making a new playthrough though because I've realized that only writing my WildClan stuff may be part of the reason I struggle to write recently, perhaps a new idea would get the creativity flowing once more :3

Out of pure curiosity I wanna ask y'all who read my playthroughs something.

What do you think of my ability to write romance in my playthroughs? Like do you think it's good, bad, neutral? And if you feel like it I wanna know what parts of romance I write better or worse.

I kinda want to improve but it's hard to see your own writing in a more objective manner so I'm throwing the question to you guys!

Okay so I'm awful at giving constructive criticism so sorry about that 💀

I think in general you write romance pretty good, but it can sometimes be a bit repetitive (which is understandable considering how many nichelings will get together in a single playthrough). You write the confession parts pretty good, but the nichelings sometimes feel a bit mechanical in asking, as in nicheling 1 would directly state what they want and ask if they could have it, and nicheling 2 would say yes, though in real life it's not always like that (I'm not speaking from experience btw 💀💀💀). 

I'd say youre good in building up how characters feel, it doesn't take up a huge amount of the story and doesn't take away from the plot, but you can tell these two characters will probably be mates later on. 

Over all I think you do pretty good but those are just my thoughts for constructive criticism idk sorry if this comes off as mean I don't mean it to 😭😭

Don't worry you don't sound mean at all, this is exactly what I was asking for so thank you for providing your feedback!

For the repetitive bit it is true a lot of nichelings get together but maybe if I sprinkle in some extra little romance scenes of how mates interact with each other as something that isn't super focused, like a single line or two during a scene with a different focus, on than maybe I could help make it a bit less repetitive. 

After re-reading some confession scenes I've wrote I have to agree that it does seem fairly similar in terms of just asking and the other nicheling accepting. Do you have any suggestions of how else it could go rather than just striaght up asking? 

(I think most of the reason I struggle with making it anything else is because I'm like 99% sure I'm aromantic so I've never had these feelings and therefore have no real idea how to write them 'realistically' lol-)

Honestly I dont have suggestions either for confessions, I'm either ace or aroace so welcome to the club ig lmao

Maybe make it so that it comes out accidentally, or instead of asking to be their mate, it's just a confession like 'I love you' and the later on they are shown to be mates??? Idk 😭

Those are good ideas actually I'm gonna keep 'em in mind! That second one may also save me from having to write a super wordy confession scene so it'd be easier for me too-
