medicine cat
I AM SORRY I KEEP DYING Howdy nyall, we're gonna be making a clan again this time i'll be implementing my warrior gene gen with it. I think the impact of appearance of clan life will be an interesting thing to work with, not to mention my edit with warriors aspirations. Cats with abnormal, uncatlike genes may have trouble getting mates or going up in clan rank. We'll see... Also, if you have any ideas of a storyline you want me to do for a clan (or for a regular niche tribe in general), ask me! We'll start in Story mode. Our starting cat is Birchbright. He has known from since he was a kit that he wants to be leader. He decided to run out on his own and make his own clan, giving his family one last nuzzle before finding his own place. He has a strong desire for peace, which may be a disadvantage in such a cutthroat world, but he's a spectacular hunter so he has that going for him. He wants to start a clan of his own, and call it Brightclan, named for optimism, wit and openness to others. If anything can be said about Birchbright, is that he is unwavering in looking for someone to start his clan with. He was already a middle-aged warrior when he found Yarrowleap, and despite the long time it took to find her, he believes she was worth it. Yarrowleap isn't exactly proficient in anything, but she aims to be, and has a love for kits. "So, what brings you on this dirt patch of a territory, Birchbright?" asks Yarrowleap, flicking her tail. "Looking to start my own clan." As long as he's wanted to do it, he's still a bit embarrassed to admit it. "Well, with a name like Birchbright, no one will take you seriously. How about... Birchstar? You know, like every other clan leader?" He flattens his ears. "I thought I needed a clan to do that..." "Well, you do now. Call me Yarrowleap of Brightclan." The two of them spend some time courting, and it isn't long before they have their own kit, who they name Branchstorm. He is a skilled hunter, but his lack of concern for warrior code overshadows his skill. The family moves to a new island. The clan's second kit is born, named Spikeburr. Though she wants to make her family happy, she cares little about warrior code, like her brother, making her not the best warrior. The kits' lack of respect of clan tradition worries both Birchstar and Yarrowleap, creating some tension between the two of them and their kits. Good thing the clan is joined by Molebush, a young medicine cat wanderer. He is inexperienced but has a gift with Starclan, and gives good advice. After spending some time becoming friends, Birchstar expresses his concerns about his kits respecting warrior code. He advises him to have another kit, that Starclan may be more in touch with this one. His prediction is correct! Birchstar and Yarrowleap have their third kit, Petalmuzzle. Petalmuzzle, unlike his siblings, has a strong sense of respect for the warrior code. He is also very skilled and wants many kits. Birchstar and Yarrowleap breathe a sigh of relief as his personality begins to show. However, as far as Birchstar is concerned, this celebration is short-lived. Yarrowleap dies of old age, and due to old age he himself has to go to his second of nine lives. How will he manage without his mate?
medicine cat
The clan is joined by a wanderer she-cat named Duckthroat. She isn't very proficient coordinated, that's for sure, but she is sickly and Molebush refuses to stand by and watch her suffer alone. She is invited into the clan. Branchstorm can't help but take a liking to the attractive female. He convinces her to become his mate, and they have Lappingcloud. Despite Birchstar's expectations, he is a great warrior who is set on defending his clan's territory. Branchstorm's only complaint is the lack of his mother's involvement in his raising, which she shrugs off, saying that it is because she is sickly. Petalmuzzle offers to apprentice him, which Branchstorm happily accepts. This island is cleared, and Birchstar, now on his third life, decides to move to a new one. The only other cat who remains alive is Lappingcloud- Birchstar's own kits have died of old age. Lappingcloud dies after reaching the island. Birchstar has a pit in his chest at the thought of being once again alone, as he was so many moons ago before he found Yarrowleap. "Find someone new," Yarrowleap tells him in his dreams. "What? Yarrowleap, I can't-" "Start over. I am still with you. You can't give up now and isolate yourself." She disappears before Birchstar can argue.
medicine cat
After some wandering, Birchstar finds a bearyena. He manages to fight it off, but is wounded and bleeding. This is when he is found by a wanderer female, Flashbranch. Flashbranch, noticing his open wound, helps treat it. "I am no medicine cat," she says, "But I did what I could. May it help you." She is definitely odd-looking, and is rather sickly, but Birchstar is charmed by her kindness. They become friends, and eventually she joins the clan, and then the mate of Birchstar. They have Shiningspring. Shiningspring is ambitious, and admires his father more than anything. Another Bearyena strikes the clan. Birchstar is gravely wounded, and is forced to retire. Flashbranch insists that she is too sickly to be leader, and nudges Birchstar towards Shiningspring. He agrees, and names Shiningspring deputy until he matures. Flashbranch is close to Birchstar during his remaining moons. "I know that I am not your soulmate," She confesses, resting her head gently on Birchstar's fiery pelt. Her words are sad, but her voice shows no bitterness. "I felt something from Starclan when I first saw you. Your heart belonged to someone in the stars, I was told, but I was still pushed towards you. You needed me." "You are special to me, Flashbranch. I am sorry if you feel as if you are second place. You are not." The she-cat gently licks his muzzle. "It's no matter. I promise. I am happy to just have spent my life with you, Birchstar. I love you just the same." Birchstar's breathing fades into silence. Flashbranch remains with him until the morning, when Shiningspring, now a fully grown warrior, approaches her knowingly. That day the skies rain down, but Flashbranch doesn't mind. She would have no regrets. Shiningspring took his place as Shiningstar. Shiningstar wanders the territory, looking for a mate of his own. He comes across Hornleap, a tall female. She prides herself on being a skilled hunter and using her unique look to intimidate other cats. She is followed by Havenlightning. She is ambitious and brave, but isn't very good at being a serious warrior when she needs to be. With these two new females, Shiningstar is faced with a decision he never thought he would have to make; who will he choose as mate?
medicine cat
Shiningstar chooses Havenlightning, for she is as ambitious as he, and he is frightened by the horns of Hornleap, which he had never seen on a cat before. They have Volesight, a she-cat. She wishes to keep her clan happy and safe. It isn't long before they have another kit, a tom named Mosshole. Mosshole is popular, always wanting to make other cats happy. He is, however, intimidating due to his position. It isn't long before clan is approached by Pebblebrook, an albino male. He originally left his clan for a change of scenery, and fell in love with the clan here. Volesight takes a liking to Pebblebrook, and they deciede to have a kit. Volesight gives birth to Rubbleclaw, a she-kit. Rubbleclaw has the potential to be a good medicine cat.
medicine cat
Shiningstar is now on his third life out of nine. Volesight has another kit, named Seedbrook. She is a beautiful young she-cat. Seedbrook is an adult by the time Berryspeckle, a wanderer male, enters the clan. Though a bit immature, he is still happy to be in the clan. Seedbrook and he decide to become mates. They have Seedrain, named for the similar personality he shares with his mother. Seedrain has little concern for being a great warrior. He just wants to have a happy family and to keep up the warrior code. The clan is joined by Rushpaw, a she-cat. Rushpaw has a strong desire to uphold the warrior code. However, this means she is quick to call out anyone who may not be following it, causing her to get into a lot of arguments. Her outspoken nature attracts Mosshole. Mosshole is rather easy to get along with, so she has trouble debating with him. Satisfied with such an agreeable cat, The two of them become mates. They have a kit. The kit is named Quickshine, after her grandfather. She is proficient in many skills and wishes to make others happy, but she does lack skill when it comes to dealing with kits. Seedbrook and Berryspeckle, meanwhile, go to have another kit. Seedbrook gives birth to, suprisingy, twins! They are nearly identical. Applefeather, the elder, is rather grumpy. She doesn't like most of her clan members and isn't the most popular cat due to her sour attitude. The younger sister, Foxdawn, isn't a good warrior, but has a connection with Starclan, and as such is taken in by Rubbleclaw to be her medicine cat apprentice. Rubbleclaw dies, and the newly adult Foxdawn takes her place as the new medicine cat. Meanwhile, Seedrain has taken a liking to Quickshine. They have a kit. His name is Songspring. He is a good leader, but is lacking in hunting skills for he is afraid of the prey fighting back. He wishes that he could be braver. However, soon after his birth, the clan is hit with an attack from a predator! Seedrain and Shiningstar are killed in battle. Quickshine is chosen as next clan leader, now Quickstar. At least the clan is visited by a strong new female. Her name is Ryeswoop. Though not conventionally attractive, she is a great peacemaker in the clan.
medicine cat
Welcome back to the clan! Quickstar has transitioned to her second of nine lives. Ryeswoop and Songspring prepare to have a kit, but it comes to light that apparently, Songspring is infertile. Luckily, a new male comes to the clan- an apprentice-aged cat named Spirewhisper. He is thin due to a lack of hunting skill, and is very grateful to be taken into the clan. He swears that he will protect his new clan to repay their kindness. As he grows, he forms a friendship with Quickstar, and the two of them decide to have a kit. Enter Crouchdusk. Crouchdusk looks near identical to his father. The clan considers this a touch from Starclan, and takes much interest in Crouchdusk. He grows up a popular cat. However, they are also all overprotective of him, and he wishes he was brave enough to show them what he can do. Applefeather is patrolling one day when she finds Blackneedle. He convinces her not to attack him, and states that he is a peaceful cat. He introduces himself to the clan, and they let him in. Though he has a strong sense of morality, he wishes that he was more intimidating. He grew up in a rough-and-tumble clan, and feels as if he is a disappointment for not having a desire to conquer. Twins Applefeather and Foxdawn die of old age. Blackneedle and Ryeswoop decide to have a kit to fill up the empty space in the clan, warranting hidden jealousy from Songspring. As if Starclan itself knew why they were wanting kits, Ryeswoop gives birth to twin kits, a she-cat and a tom. Though they are not identical like Ryeswoop and Applefeather were, they still cause great joy in the clan- most cats in the clan believe that they are gifts from Applefeather and Foxdawn themselves. The male is named Maplewhiskers. He wants to be a great warrior, but as he grows it is revealed that he has no skill whatsoever for fighting. He seems to give up hope, but after hearing stories of he and his sister being gifts from Starclan, he is inspired to become a medicine cat himself, much like Foxdawn before him. The female is named Webflame. She is a fearless she-cat who wants to be proficient in many skills, becoming the perfect warrior in order to bring honor to her clan. Starclan continues to bless the clan. A young apprentice-aged tom is found on clan borders. He is named Mallowsky, and he has wishes to become a great warrior and to intimidate enemies. As spooky as this sounds, he is actually a rather positive, happy cat, which impedes on the whole "intimidating" thing. Quickstar decides that in such a time of surplus that is a wise choice to have another kit. She has Firesnout. Firesnout is a fitting name, for she is passionate about protecting her clan's borders. She is especially close to her mother. The clan is once again joined by a wanderer. Introducing Aspenspots. She is a rather socially awkward and gruff she-cat, making her hard to get along with. This saddens her, for she wishes to make others happy. At least she is a skilled hunter. The clan is approached by a predator. They manage to fight it off, but Webflame is injured slightly. With all the kits growing into warriors now, mates are a big topic in the clan. Aspenspots becomes the mate of Crouchdusk. Mallowsky, meanwhile, has to choose between Firesnout and Webflame. Mallowsky ultimately chooses Firesnout for her gorgeous fur, making Webflame rather jealous. Aspenspots has a she-kit, who is named Seedstone. Seedstone is terrified of hunting and fighting due to anxiety issues, and must stay in the middle of the group to feel comfortable. However, she is very good with kits, making her still useful. Meanwhile, Firesnout is marvelling at her kit. The kit, who she names Brightcopy, looks almost exactly like her father and brother. This causes much talk in the clan. While a kit identical to his father is unusual, a kit who is identical to his grandfather AND his uncle is special. He's an average warrior, and aims to be a good fighter so he can stand out from his uncle and grandfather. Maplewhiskers, meanwhile, is taking much interest in this phenomena. He thinks that Starclan is trying to tell him and his clan something. But what?
medicine cat
Maplewhiskers is watching the stars, searching for a sign, when it starts to rain. Frustrated due to the clouds blocking his view of the stars, he grumbles and looks down- and it's a good thing he did, for he sees a shivering, sickly kit before him. It is terrified and huddles up against his heat body. Maplewhiskers knows that he will never have a kit of his own, and he thinks that this kit was given to him by Starclan. He picks up the kit by the scruff and presents him to Quickstar, who is on her third life now. "Finding a kit like him? Out here in the rain?" Quickstar asks, eyeing the bewildered bundle of fur and spikes. "Peculiar.. Very peculiar, Maplewhiskers." "Many peculiar things have happened under your leadership, Quickstar. All of them have worked out for the good of the clan in one way or another." "I'm no den mother," Quickstar mumbles, sitting with her back turned toward the kit. "I could barely raise Firesnout and Crouchdusk. It's by the mercy of Starclan they turned out alright, and both Firesnout and Aspenspots are busy with their own kits." "I was thinking... I could raise him," Maplewhiskers said casually. "A medicine cat?" She meets his violet eyes, her voice more curious than anything. "I may be young now, but I won't be around forever, Quickstar. I've helped with kits before; I even helped deliver Firesnout when I was still an apprentice." He wraps a soft paw around the kit. "It is decided, then," says Quickstar. "I am entrusting him to you." Maplewhiskers blinks gratefully and carries the kit off to his den. He will be called Leafdawn, named after Foxdawn. An albino male enters the clan, going by the name of Quietmoon. He isn't really a leader and blends into clan life quickly. He wants to be a great warrior, but isn't really the best fighter. He becomes the mate of Seedstone. They have Quietrose. She has a love of her clan, but little love for the warrior code. One day, Maplewhiskers is called by Quickstar. He already knows what he is being called for when he finds Quickstar standing over the peaceful body of Leafdawn. "He had talent," she said with a melancholy smile, looking down at the medicine cat apprentice. "He could have cured any illness," bragged Maplewhisker, as if he was talking about a son. "Except his own." "You knew it was something that would cut his life in half the day you found him," said Quickstar knowingly. "You knew you'd outlive him." "I couldn't leave him in the rain. If I'd gotten to him faster, maybe he wouldn't have-" "Don't blame yourself, Maplewhiskers. You were the finest father I've ever come across in my moons." Quickstar goes to share dreams with Starclan and to transfer to her fourth life. When she returns, Maplewhisker, too, is dead. Quietmoon and Seedstone have another kit, Snowwave. She is brave, but she resents Quickstar and is jealous of her nine lives. She often tries to intimidate other clan members... and fails. The birth of Snowwave is soon followed by the birth of her sister, Briarcry. She is a talented warrior and has a strong desire for upholding the warrior code. For the first time in some moons, a new wanderer comes into the clan. She is an apprentice aged cat, named Flopmole. She isn't a very talented warrior, but she means well. A bearyena attacks the clan. Cloudrose is gravely wounded and is forced into early retirement. While sulking about on clan borders, she finds an apprentice-aged male. His name is Clearjaw. He's no fighter, but he's grateful to be let into the clan just the same. Not long after his arrival, he finds Spiderswoop, a wandering apprentice, on clan borders. He goes to attack him, but Spiderswoop begs to not have to fight, for he is a medicine cat apprentice looking for a home. Quickstar lets him in. Despite a rough first impression, Spiderswoop and Clearjaw become good friends. When Clearjaw becomes a full-fledged warrior, there arises a *slight* problem between females of the clan... He's the only male interested in mating! Most of the females are interested in him, so it's up to him to make the right choice. Quickstar watches with amusement as Snowwave, Briarcry, and Flopmole argue over him subtly. Clearjaw knows he's either interested in Snowwave or Briarcry. He sits with Spiderswoop, who gives good advice, for help. "You sound like a kit talking about crushes," muses Spiderswoop. "I say Briarcry. She has a higher respect for the warrior code than her sister. Plus... she's a talented warrior, which may balance out your fighting skill... or lack thereof," he teases. Briarcry and Clearjaw give have Smallmoon, named after Briarcry's father. He isn't a good hunter and isn't conventionally a handsome cat (his horns are the cause of much teasing), but he tries his best to make others happy. Quickstar is fast approaching her fifth life. This means she is halfway through her time with her clan. How will she handle such a realization?
medicine cat
Quickstar isn't much concerned about wether she goes to Starclan sooner or later, until death is right in front of her face. She goes to share dreams with Starclan, and moves to her fifth life. She almost loses it, though, when a predator spots her by herself. She narrowly escapes him and makes her way home, hoping she is not followed. Clearjaw and Briarcry have had another kit- A she-cat named Foggycreek. Foggycreek is a sweet, emotional cat with love for all, even the meanest of cats. The clan keeps moving. However, Quickstar senses an eerily familiar scent. The Bearyena that had chased her before was back- with two other fully grown bearyenas! The clan was under attack! Luckily, everyone suffered minor scratches... Except for Quickstar, unfortunately, who was gravely wounded. Quickstar steps down from her position as clan leader and orders Briarcry to take her place while she enjoys her waning moons. Foggycreek mates with a friendly bearyena. She has Brightfang. Brightfang is subject to some bullying due to the fact that he is half-bearyena. This makes him distrustful of a lot of his clan. Many clan members get old until it is just Briarstar, Foggycreek and Brightfang. After over fifty years on the island, the clan moves on. Only Briarstar remains, and she is on her third life. She begins to give up hope when she comes across a wanderer male named Wildsound. The two of them become mates and have a kit. Briarstar finds that the kit is albino, just like her father was. For this, she names her Puddlemoon. Puddlemoon is talented, but is very paranoid. The island is soon cleared after arriving there, so Briarstar, now on her fourth life, moves to the next island, bringing Puddlemoon with her. While Briarstar is excited for a new change of scenery, Puddlemoon is very uncomfortable in a new environment and wishes that she could go back home. To calm her, Briarstar tells her stories of Brightclan when she used to live on the old island- the one she was on before Puddlemoon was born. She told her of Quickstar, of Clearjaw; of her father, Quietmoon. Puddlemoon especially likes hearing stories of her grandfather. Puddlemoon dies, and once again, Briarstar is alone. She takes on a bearyena, but it knocks out her remaining lives. She goes to Starclan and reunites with her family.

medicine cat
oooh, lemme think... - Definitely write as you go. You'll have much better, accurate details if you write things as they happen rather on looking back. I legit just write them on here and post them as soon as I think the post is long enough. - Take a break when you need it! You'll write much better if you're not tired of what you're writing. - Don't be afraid to refer back to your own notes. Write about personalities of cats as they are born or enter the clan, and then you can look back on them later if you want to think of how they'd react to a specific situation. Have fun and if you do it, I'd love to see! I love reading these sorts of things!

medicine cat
"I'm going back," Birchstar declares quietly. Yarrowleap's ears prick forward. "Birchstar, we've been here for hundreds of moons now. There's no reason for us to go back. Everyone we care about is here." "I'm aware," He sighs, shifting on his paws. "But our work isn't done. I can't just... leave the story at that." He raised his coal-black eyes to hers. "But I'm not going without you. I'm not letting your story and our kits get cut short. Not again." Yarrowleap flattens her large ears in thought for a moment. "Fine, then. I'll go with you." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Birchbright woke up on the shore. His head ached terribly, as if he had hit it on something. He remembered nothing but his name. Heck, he didn't even remember the breathing lump of white laying beside him, seemingly in the same situation as he. As if the heap of fur heard him thinking about her, she lifted her head and looked at him, as if she faintly recognized him, but with another shake of her head the familiarity was gone. "Where are we?" Yarrowleap asked the tom, to which he could only shrug in bewilderment. "Don't ask me, I don't know. Who are you?" "Yarrowleap." "I'm.. I'm Birchbright." "Do you remember anything from before?" "Not in the slightest." Yarrowleap got to her feet, the gears in her mind churning. "We're both apprentices. Small enough to get picked up by a bird, perhaps." She looked up at him. "Even if we do remember wherever we are from, we're never going to be able to go back to our original clan. So we'll start our own." Birchbright wasn't complaining at such a suggestion. The female was pretty, and seemed to know what she was doing slightly more than he. "You'll be Birchstar. Clan leader." The two of them grow up together, until they are both strong warriors. They decide to have a kit together- they like each other, for one, and it's not like there's any other options. Their first kit is Stoatsun. She's a social butterfly and a good fighter, but not the best hunter... or much of anything else. Stoatsun becomes an apprentice, and Yarrowleap convinces Birchstar to apprentice her so she can have another kit and apprentice it. He agrees, though he does wonder why she insists on having kits so fast. They have Fuzzypoppy. Fuzzypoppy wants to help the clan become peaceful, and she loves taking care of younger clan members. Both of the she-cats grow up into warriors, and it isn't long before Yarrowleap plans on another kit. Birchstar agrees, and they have another kit. "I know you like kits, but... Why so many?" He asks lightheartedly. Yarrowleap looks at him. "I.. I feel like I'm missing something, Birchstar. Or at least, I'm going to." "We have plenty of food and everything. What do you mean?" "Like I'm not going to leave a legacy behind. I will have nothing. I need to leave something. Whatever we did before we arrived here... I feel like I was incomplete before then." "You're complete, Yarrowleap." Yarrowleap has a tom this time. His name is Treemist. He is alluring and wants to uphold the warrior code, but often falls into bouts of depression and insecurity. He is mentored by his mother. Yarrrowleap has one more kit, who she calls Swiftfur. Swiftfur wants to have peace and to be a great warrior. She is mentored by Fuzzypoppy. The clan is approached by Quietpool. Quietpool isn't an intimidating cat, and he knows it. This makes him envious of Birchstar, who is respected and popular with all. At least he is comforted by Fuzzypoppy, who he takes a liking to. He asks her to become his mate, which she agrees to. She hands the responsibility of mentorship over to Treemist. Birchstar knows that Yarrowleap is old and will die soon. The two of them thus spend a lot of time together, for he dreads the day she returns to Starclan. "Are you still afraid of not making your mark? You're expecting grandkits now. You have four healthy kits who are warriors. I promise you, your story will be told for hundreds of moons." "I don't think I'm afraid anymore, Yarrowleap. A life with you has been a life I would never replace. I feel like I have known you forever." With that, her eyes spark with memory, and she looks into Birchstar's eyes one last time. "What is it?" He asks, but Yarrowleap cannot articulate what she has to say. She smiles the most relieved smile, and stops breathing for the last time. Birchstar himself transitions to his second life, and when he returns, Fuzzypoppy is there with her newborn kit to greet him. His name is Leopardhaze. He's a tad scatterbrained, so he's not the best hunter or fighter. However, he's a good leader and has a desire to make others smile. He is apprenticed by Birchstar.
medicine cat
A female cat approaches the clan. Her name is Jumpcrimson. She is a medicine cat. However, will that stop her from having a mate? Nope. She falls in love with Leopardhaze, and they have a beautiful she-kit, who they name Twigshell. She is a peacemaker cat who wants to have a big family. She is mentored by Leopardhaze. Birchstar reprimands Jumpcrimson for not keeping the warrior code, but he must admit, he is glad that Leopardhaze had a kit. His own kits are old and have died, so to see Leopardhaze extend the line is a relief. The clan decides that it is time to move on. Birchstar, now on his third life, readies the clan to move to the next island. Aloha from Grass Adventure. Not long after arrival, Jumpcrimson finds a blind apprentice wandering around in search of food. She takes her in. Her name is Meadowwave. Despite being blind, she is a skilled hunter. She is irritable, but is very skilled at hiding it. Twigshell finds a wanderer male while patrolling one day, and lets him into the clan. His name is Riverrose. Riverrose is an average warrior, but STRONGLY encourages peace and pacifism. This isn't so much as for morals as it is for him being afraid of battle. Despite his disposition, Twigshell still admires him for his desire for peace and they become mates. She has Softswing. Softswing has a high moral standard and a connection with Starclan. This makes her rather introverted and antisocial, but she means the best. She is mentored by Birchstar. Twigshell dies, and Riverrose has a kit with Meadowwave. They have a kit named Buzzardpaw. Buzzardpaw is a bad fighter, so she spends her time focusing on being a good hunter and trying to prevent arguments so she'll never have to fight. She is mentored by Riverrose. Birchstar is now on his fourth life. Can he keep up with his clan?
medicine cat
Softswing encounters a wanderer male named Rotbreeze. He focuses on intimidating cats to cover up the fact he's a pretty lackluster warrior aside from his hunting prowess. Softswing has a kit with him, which they name Stagblossom. She is intimidating and ambitious, and is mentored by her father. Birchstar finds an apprentice-aged tom in the rain. He is terrified, and says that his name is Lostspots. He begs for the mercy of Birchstar, which Birchstar was going to give anyway. He's not a good warrior, but tries to remain positive. Birchstar takes pity on him and mentors him himself. Softswing has another she-kit with Rotbreeze, which she names Shadowflame. Shadowflame seems grumpy, but she has the capability of being a great medicine cat who will strengthen the clan. Stagblossom and Lostspots become mates, attracted to each other by their opposing personalities. What will it look like?

medicine cat
They have Brokenminnow, an intimidating warrior she-cat. The clan is running low on food, and many are starving. Birchstar works to specifically keep himself and Brokenminnow alive, keeping his promise to Yarrowleap to continue her story. it's rough keeping the both of them fed and he has to get aggressive to keep her working, but the both of them keep going. Birchstar is on his fifth life now. Brokenminnow is mated with by a rogue male and has a kit. She has Seedpuddle, a positive kit with talent. The clan finds Slightscar, an apprentice. He is frightened in the rain and is taken in. He grows up with Seedpuddle, and falls in love with her due to her optimism. They become mates. They have Flybite, a peaceful cat. However, the celebration is short lived, for a predator comes after the clan. Seedpuddle leaps into battle, though she is still a queen. She sustains minor injuries but comes out, for the most part, unharmed. Another apprentice enters the clan. Her name is Sparkrose. She is grateful for being let into the clan and is a stalwart defender of it- even if she gets TOO angry sometimes. Birchstar is now on his sixth life. She and Flybite have a kit. She is named Seedfoot, after the likeness to her grandmother. She is a below average warrior, which frustrates her. However, it increases her attraction to a wanderer named Frostpad, an athlete, who comes in when she is also a warrior. They have Hollymist, an anxious she-kit who wants t be like her father.
medicine cat
Hollymist grows up into a warrior. She mates with a friendly Bearyena. (because jinkies scoob i cant handle all these spit snouts). She has Fidgetblaze, a easygoing kit with a desire for adventure and to run. Fidgetblaze is mentored by Birchstar, now on his seventh life. Heavybrook enters the clan, an emotional she-cat with hopes to better the clan. She is attracted to Fidgetblaze, and together they have a kit of their own. Her name is Sweetmole. She isn't a popular cat, however, due to her strange appearance. Even so, she is loved well by Birchstar, for he believes in her. Birchstar encourages Fidgetblaze and Heavybrook to have another kit to help repopulate the clan, and they do. They have Tumblemouth, an outspoken she-cat. The clan is joined by a wanderer male named Morningshadow. He has a desire to be a great warrior and to bring peace to the clan. Tumblemouth likes his thoughts, so they have a kit. They name her Rookbranch. Rookbranch often butts heads with her parents, for she cares little about morals and peace, and would rather show rogues who's boss by fighting them off, tooth and claw. Birchstar goes to transition to his last life. He realizes that this means he must now decide who his successor is to be- he cannot live forever, and it's about time there's a new leader. He shifts his eyes onto each of the trio of cats that lay peacefully by the newborn kit's nest. Tumblemouth is one of his own kin. However, she cares more about being right than keeping the peace. Morals are more important than anyone's feelings to her. She would crush differing opinions in a clan. Meanwhile, Morningshadow has heartfelt, honorable aspirations. He has a big heart and desire for peace. But would he be able to stand up to an enemy when he needed to? And as for Birchstar- would he be able to hand his clan over to a cat who'd only been there a few moons? Rookbranch is only a kit, but she is the kin of Birchstar. She cares about defense and little about what is moral and what is not. She will put her clan first, but at what cost? Birchstar's heart is set on Rookbranch. He will make her his own apprentice, he decides, and he will teach her everything that she needs to know. He will announce her deputyship when she becomes a warrior, keeping it secret to all, even her, until then. Rookbranch will be the next leader of Brightclan.
medicine cat
"Rookbranch will be my deputy," declares Birchstar to the ginger she-cat and her father. He expects some form of rebuttal from Morningshadow, but Morningshadow's eyes shine with nothing but pride. "I am so proud of how she has grown," Confesses Morningshadow to the ancient cream-colored tom. "She has worked so hard under your training. It's time she shows what she can do." To Birchstar's suprise, Rookbranch is filled with questions about leadership and what she will have to do. However, she is most interested in the special things about being a leader. "How far back are we related?" "Over many, many, many generations," Confesses Birchstar, flicking his tail. "I have seen many come before you. I must admit, it has been an adventure. You are not the first, and you will certainly not be the last. Especially when you have kits of your own." "What were your kits like?" Birchstar flattens his ears. It feels like forever to him since he last got to really think about them- Stoatsun, Fuzzypoppy, Treemist, and Swiftfur. He cannot dig too deep without feeling emotional, especially after something reminds him that in a matter of time he will be with them again in Starclan. He decides not to get into it. "The whole clan counts as my kits. Everyone here is under my responsibility." He quickly changes the subject. "Rookbranch." "Yes, Birchstar?" "When I die, I have an order for you. Get out of here. Take the clan and go to another island. This land is old, Rookbranch. We've been here for hundreds of moons. It is time to move on. I will be watching you. Have no fear." "Yes, Birchstar." The clan is joined by a wanderer female named Blizzardsun. She and Rookbranch become fast friends, and Blizzardsun becomes very attached to her, threatening to fight whoever comes near her or the territory in a threatening manner. Birchstar's time comes. Laying comfortably in a nest surrounded by undisturbed thorns, he finally sleeps. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Birchstar's eyes open slowly. He is in a blurry meadow. The distorted form of Yarrowleap is there, but she is not the Yarrowleap he remembers. Her fur is a red rather than the white he remembers in, and her jaw is slightly thinner. She seems to be a blend of the Yarrowleap he knew, and a Yarrowleap from long before. However, as his vision cleared, so did his memory. He understood. The cat he saw was the same one he knew in two lives. The same cat Brightclan was founded upon, the same cat who he woke up alongside on the island so many moons ago. They had made it through life together, twice, and finally the two of them could relax together. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "We have to go," Rookstar informed Blizzardsun. "It is time." "But what about the territory?" Asked the paranoid she-cat. "It doesn't matter. A new territory awaits us beyond here." About a week's travel lands the duo in a new territory. Rookstar is on her second life now. They find a string of islands.
