derp snout doesn't add distasteful appearance

Ok so this really bugs me, but it doesn't really make sense that the derp snout adds distasteful appearance. While it's kinda ugly, a predator isn't going to care what it's prey looks like. Plus, derp snout is supposed to be something you don't want in your tribe, but distasteful appearance is kind of useful

I guess it is distasteful because it was originally meant to spit. Philo said at some point that they aren't sure about introducing that feature, but thought about it for a long time. Spitting would confuse them surely enough, but, yeah... it's not here... except maybe as a headcanon. My own by now, anyway.

I disagree I think derp snout shouldn't be something you don't want, I like how it shows diversity. Plus they can look both funny and cute.

This is unlikely to happen as I believe that the distasteful appearance was added as a feature request. I believe that this was the post where the change suggestion originated, but I’m not completely sure:
