madcapbiblio
Hey guys, I don't know if this is a bug no just a new thing I haven't accessed yet, but some of the new genes don't appear in the mutation menu, not even as 'locked' genes. I'm in Sandbox mode, on the Whale Island, which is AMAZING and seems to be running just fine, but I haven't traveled to any other Islands or invited any new tribemates in. Missing Genes: Beak (platypus is there, so this might be that gene) Scorpion Tail, and Peacock Tail. These slots do not exists while Wings/Purr Head/Antenna are all in the Menu but locked/grey. So it made me think it might be a bug that these ones are missing from the Menu.
Ren
I noticed that too. I just got a nicheling with scorpion tail active and I thought I would have unlocked it in the mutation menu, but I wasn't sure if it was a bug.

Philo
That is a bug, all new genes should be in the mutation menu Do you have any suggestions on how they should be unlockable?

For peacock tail, maybe it should be invite 5 females into your tribe?
Jojo
For peacock tail calling out to animals like 30 times or so. Beak is trickier, maybe something in addition to digging? Because it can dig or just invite a creature with that gene. For scorpion tail maybe attacking a creature and poisoning ? (not only once of course ^^ )
