Gamma Warrior
I have used nearly every Nimbatus part, but one I do not get how to use. What exactly is a spring and how to you use it?
Markus
A spring is currently implemented similar to a real-life spring. It works in that way that if you apply a force to the endpoints, it contracts. If you release the force, it springs back to its original length. You can use it to dampen the impact or other creative ways. In the sumo arena someone used it for building a net, or to dampen a plow so it doesn't hurt itself when ramming.

Micha
Sure you can rotate your thrusters and springs any way you want
Markus
@tronotDo you mean that the spring only is "springy" in one axis and locked in the other? This is currently not possible with the available springs, but we might be able to add another set of springs which could to that.
Mr MM
You can use them for example to make a snake. I did this in my video here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sjyOa6k3gio but basically you can use the springs to make your vehicle move more like an actual snake by connecting up all of the different parts of it together. 1
