  1. Thank you, I totally agree about playing for different reasons at different levels of difficulty. Weather the actions take place in the day or night other entities movement can cost you like if your set for fishing and the fish move, new risk / loss added. If the action is for the next day your stuck and can be attacked. I think you still have to point the niche to what you want collected even if there is an auto collecting button added especially when focusing on nuts vs berries. Also do you think there should be a limit like auto set for 1 turn, multiple turns then reset or auto set it and forget it? What if it cost 2 gems instead of 1? And should it be like the alpha button where you can turn it off and on? Thank you for your input.
  2. I didn't think of the other entities movement but if the auto action is set for that night cycle maybe when it switches over the niches movements would be in que / line with the other entities. Example niche 1 moves, the rabbit eats, then niche 2 moves, then the bird attacks and so on all during the night cycle. Meaning the action would have to take place before the next day and cost a movement/ green dot of the current day. I agree it quickens the game but your still restricted to 3 moves per day and have to determine when it's worth it. If it's to hot or cold you might not want to pre set 1 of your 2 actions for the day. Quicker but more complex by planning some future moves Another option would be to charge 2 movements/ green dots to pre set actions causing people to collect less. Thank you,
  3. Would like to see berry picking, nut collecting and fishing have a button that automatically makes the animal do it's job each turn.
  4. Love the game but really hope they add a way to set tasks or actions so the animal automatically gathers fruit or fish.
  5. Curious if anyone thinks there should be a limit on gene discovery in a location? If you stay in one location long enough you can unlock a lot of genes like 4 or 5 or more. If there was a cap of 2 or 3 genes you would have to choose what you wanted to unlock more carefully. You can still work toward unlocking multiple genes at once and continue progress as is in the current version. For example you would stop at 29th fish, migrate to the next location, then unlock the fishing tail gene with the 30th action. This probably also means the hidden genes should be spread out to more locations. To be honest not sure which I would prefer but wanted to see what others think.
  6. In the wild there is only 1 alpha pair, so only 1 male and 1 female can be safe from starvation, I also think once chosen they should stay alpha like when you choose your genes. Once you hit the check mark its locked. You can't choose a second alpha until the first alpha has died, but not having to wait for both to die. If the male dies pick a new male and if the female dies pick a new female. Also thought something to help notice the alpha would be cool. Either a crown, cape, or scepter. You could choose gold or silver for the crown and scepter but the cape could be any color.
  7. Based on a post about Rouge Males where Rouge Males would challenge tribal males Lonely Ladies were suggested, these non tribe females take control of a nest and raised the babies. Feral Females cause way more trouble because they could challenge tribe females like Rouge Males would to tribe males but for the nest and they might even steal unattended tribe babies.   8. More color variation for sure but would like an abnormal color gene so green, blue, and purple can be part of the coat colors. Neon or chartreuse could be added for jungle camouflage.

I agree the tree is very busy and like your idea but thought to make it easier for the devs there could be a column on the left side top to bottom in alphabetical order like () Adam () Bob () Christine () Eve Then when you click on the name it moves to the center like () Mom () Dad () Christine () sibling () sibling () offspring () offspring () offspring This way you know not to breed with these members. The () represents the color circle meaning a boy or girl but that could be easier if the names were the color of the sex so Adam would be in Blue and Eve in Pink.
  10. Flamingo's or Penguins or both? Flamingo's would be in a tropical climate having long legs, a long beak, and flying while land bound rock jumping Penguins would be found in hot and cold climates on land near water, or as a hybrid with other land birds like a Peacock or Turkey. A Peaguin would be half Peacock half Penguin
  11. By keeping the star gene that Adam has in the bloodline all the way back to the home island you unlock ADAM'S STAR, it can add a lot of difficulty for each individual player, so much so I wouldn't want it added as requirement unless on very hard difficulty.
  12. I think Rouge Females are a must but as trouble for the tribe. Rouge Females could fight Tribe Females for the nest, steal the nest and produce more rouges / non tribe animals, or even try to steal tribe babies if the baby is unattended, barren Rouge Females might try to steal babies for example. Even if you don't like my version I think you should add Rouge Females / Lonely Ladies as a new topic.
  13. I like Calico but also suggest a Lynx like pattern with semi solid spots vs solid spots like a Cheetah which are available. Tasmanian tiger pattern?
  14. The Hyena could make a painful yelp sound instead of growling when they attack at night and would have less health in the morning. Cat and dog fighting sound effects could also work, even a POW or SMASH like in the old Batman could pop up during the night transition. The birds should make a noise when caught, but only want a few feathers floating around and the bird in the guards mouth after the attack, nothing to detailed or intense.
  15. It should take two actions to defend, 1 action to take position and 1 to defend, but the defending happens when attacked so you have to not use the last of your three actions "green dots" during the turn. If a hyena shows up the animal would jump in front of it, take the defensive position, and wait, the animal can then defend from the attack at night with it's one remaining action. If an animal jumps next to a baby, takes the guard position and waits for a bird attack it could catch the bird when it attacks the baby with the remaining action. If an animal is given a guard role for a designated area like nests I hope something can be put in place so you don't have to micro manage every time.
  16. Hope a gene can be unlocked so the abnormal colors like blue, purple and green can stay in the tribe. Those colors could give a + 2 or - 2 camouflage depending on the location, a +2 in the jungle and -2 in the desert and mountain. Neon or chartreuse colors could also be added.

    Deadly fire

    The game still crashes from time to time in the desert, not sure if it's because of to many animals, the fire graphics, when the fire graphics and animals interact / burning, or sometimes if I change the viewing angle that can also make it crash.
  18. I'm picturing two blinking eyes in a hole, or eyes blinking in a hole under an upside-down nest. Possibly two big eyes and up to four little eyes if babies fit. Maybe dig 3 time but still need 2 actions, 1 action to build the nest and 1 action to enter the burrow. I like the burrows as a shelter from weather but digging could also be a way to stop fire because grass wouldn't grow there or it would take longer to grow on dug tiles. Also they could put fires out by kicking sand / dirt on the fire on neighboring tiles. This is similar to a Digging post but that one also talked about digging tunnels. Tunnels could be added but not sure how it would work.
  19. A horns gene will be added, but also a hoof gene after mating with goats giving +2 climbing, +3 defense, Hooves are good for protection and movement in most situations. Goats will be on the ground and along the sides of the mountain protecting the mountain top, ramming you of the side if your on an adjacent tile. There might be an Old One at the top or some other reason to reach the top, but you have to get the genes to on the ground before going up the mountain. It also explains why the animals have a horns gene.
  20. Lightning could be the cause of the fires in the desert, and animals have to stay away from trees in-case a tree was struck by lightning. The tree could fall, burn or both hurting the animal. If a tile has a lightning bolt on it indicating where the lightning will strike the animals will know not to stand there, if they do they get electrocuted.
  21. I'm hoping for a turtle too. If they took the spikes off the shell and colored it green they just need to add the turtle head and scales. Frogs could be cool to if the smooth body -4 defense and vertical pupils like snake eyes +2 vision are implemented.. Plus they are bug eaters if bugs become a food source.
  22. If the star gene helps with immunity maybe Adam should have a Star with an A in it gene., then use a Star with a B in it for the Bear Hyena's gene. These are examples of current genes that could be combined. There should be at least one immunity / star gene per island to help with their survival.
  23. Love the idea but think a Flamingo type bird would be easier because they nest on the ground and hunt in water and beaches. Or, a fruit fox / giant bat could attack. They fly during the day gathering fruit, so they could fight for food. If they develop a night section I hope bats are included.
  24. I like the idea, but think this could add a timed element where for example the animals have to get to the opposite side of the island and off the island before the whole island is under water due to constantly rising waters.
  25. I also hope they add a day counter.
