  1. Which one is rabbil child? Also, is the pretty white dude on the left related to cool mask boi?
  2. I love this. I love her.
  3. Yesss, feral rabbil child. I love him.
  4. What happended here by the way?
  5. Sacred orphan child must be protected. Also, is cool mask boi the father? Is Flower even the mom or are the rabbils mistaking another baby for hers?
  6. RIP to the coolest mask boy.
  7. Pretty girl looks just like her mother: @Dysfunctional Numbers Foxy Did you get this pattern already?
  8. Fun Fact: I just compared the pattern genes of Flower and Roku and technically their kids could have the exact same pattern as their parents. Then there are four other possibilities.
  9. More children shall come into existence.
  10. Since I want to do something relaxing I might try and recreate Roku and Flower in a sandbox save - only if @Flower is okay with it though.
  11. Ok, I definitely need to know more about this bromance. Could be a future drawing, maybe, if I feel like it.
  12. My boy is being called cool mask dude, my day just got better. Also, what a pretty pair?? He never had children in his original save and now these are so pretty, I'm so happy for him. (Also for myself, because this pair is literally peak asthetic/beautiful nichelings) Sidenote, show me his siblings. Immediately.
  13. In case someone wants to play like this too (totally not me) could you share the generator you use?
  14. I decided to draw Mii because apparently I love her now.
  15. I heavily dislike webbed hindlegs and webbed paw. They are incredibly useless and take forever to breed out. Depending on the tribe I either love or hate toxic body. I also absolutely despise gills - they are the ugliest head gene. Generally, any water-related trait is kind of useless, since there just isn't much to do with the water right now. Also, shortsighted-eyes are a big oof. I adore blind creatures, they all look fantastic, but a shortsighted nicheling is very undesirable. I like rogue babies, so I have nothing against crippled paws. Bright colours, pretty patterns, anything that isn't the no horns gene and blue, yellow, orange or purple eyes are desirable traits.
  16. Oh no, I'm feel so bad for Adam. Such a poor guy.. Anyways, I'm interested to see what'll happen now that Rahzere is Queen - who will she deem worthy of being her mate? And I wonder what's going to happen to Mii, now that she's all alone. She spent less time with her mother and now she can't live the typical high-ranked life of a female. This part made me feel that there is still hope left for her: She seems very emotional and it's hard to believe that she is faking all of this, especially when she is so young. Apparently she also acknowledges Adam, so that is a step into the right direction. Right now she's my favorite, simply because she has so much potential. Sure, she is the child of Chenthya, but her father is Adam, and he is the purest being in this playthough so far. Maybe she will find her twin brother? Even if they were seperated shortly after being born, they should still have some memories of each other. Anyways, I'm going to call her the Queen of the Unknown from now on.
  17. I had a hard time starting to RP with my tribes, but these ways generally work for me: Setting a limit to the tribe size, mostly 10 nichelings at max. Yes, you have to limit yourself and it's hard to not just keep on breeding, especially in story mode when you can't just set a tribe limit using the settings. But, on the bright side, you will actually be able to tell your nichelings apart. Play slowly, take time to think about what your nichelings are doing, and why. I generally struggle with that, because I'm impatient, but if you're in the right headspace it can be great! If you don't fell like taking your time, try playing another tribe. I generally have RP and RP-free tribes. Depending on my mood, I play different ones. If you have fun with that kind of thing, build their world first. What do they believe in? Do they have certain customs, like using berries to paint? Do they believe in gods, or something else entirely? Is this thing they believe in real? Are certain genes blessed/cursed? It makes the RP far more organic and deep, because these characters live in a real, believable world. Another option would be to give your creatures a longer lifespan using the customizable sandbox settings. Here I would strongly advise you to set a tribe limit as well, unless you want to have twenty indistinguishable, nearly immortal nichelings. Since they are around this long it's easier to let them develop a character, without pausing the game for too long. You can also try to use a generator to give your nichelings different character traits if you don't want to come up with your own. Lastly, this is the most labor-intensive way and it doesn't work for everyone. Try writing things down. Depending on how much/what kind of information you write, it can take a lot of time and maybe become more of a chore than something you enjoy. Only do this if you feel like it! I like to write down timelines, for example births, deaths, important events like bearyena attacks, etc. Sometimes, when I feel like giving myself a lot of work, I write down entire biographies, when I'm lazy it's usually just a few words summarizing everything. What is important is that you're having fun - try things that suit you. I hope this incoherent rambling helps at least somewhat.
  18. Oh, I would love to join in with my boy Roku:
  19. Wow, I love this! I can't wait to see how this will play out, and you have all my respect for writing this story. I really hope there will be some character changes in the queens, maybe a younger sister will take over after having been mistreated? Right now it totally makes sense when the two girls behave similar to their mother but I could imagine a scenario where there are more girls than needed and they aren't fully separated from the boys which leads to them developing sympathies for them? Or a wandering female taking over the tribe by manipulating the males into killing their queen? Anyway, I'm hyped.
  20. Take my pink fish girl who is literally the only gilled nicheling I have a screenshot of:
  21. I think that you can like everything you want and still be your gender. It just depends on what you feel most comfortable as (sometimes in terms of body, but not always) when you think of yourself.
  22. Yeah, that's correct. It's why I dislike the terms "masculine" and "feminine", because there are all those stereotypical boy and girl things attached to them. I always assumed that gender is more of a feeling. Do I like being female: Yes, although there are a lot of backsides to it, like all these expectations that you like pink, make-up, etc. Would I like to be a guy: No, although there's no particular reason. Would I like to be androgynous: Sometimes, but very seldom.
  23. Congrats! I recently managed to get to 1000 days, even though I never thought I'd manage that.
  24. I absolutely adore playing on the Killer Islands. My favorite one is Frost Lands since they offer just the right amount of challenge (Deadly Hills is too easy, Deep Jungle too hard/boring). And I especially love it when I'm down to one animal and they struggle to survive. These unfortunate souls always grown on me. The only downside is that their struggle often ends in death and then they and their legacy are dead... or are they? Today I found the solution: The last animal standing is the next starter, and so on. So far I've got 5 "Frozen Ones" and it's so much fun! Since they are all somewhat related there's some kind of a greek gods feeling to them. Here they are because I'm in love right now: Issi was the first one to awake and is therefore the strongest amongst the Frozen Ones. She froze to death, which is why her gems are blue now. During the fifth cycle she had a mate and four kids. Her mate starved himself to safe food for the others and died prematurely. She has been able to keep her kids around, although they are merely shadows, but he's gone forever. Lenmi is the grandchild of Issi, born during the first cycle. She was sickly and died when she was merely a teen, slain by a Balance Bear while she was frozen. Because of this her gems are red. She starts every cycle as a teen. Anamelen is Lenmi's grandchild from the third cycle. She died the same death as her grandmother and is the second Frozen One with red gems. Because I forgot to screenshot her genes of unknown reasons she's the only Frozen One whose genes vary every repetition. Kirtaduk is Lenmi's son from the fourth cycle. He had a lot of siblings and was the sole survivor of a famine. Because the starvation had weakened him a Balance Bear killed him. His middle gem is red, the others are pink (signifying starvation). He died while he tried to invite his brother's mate into the tribe. Privan is Issi's son, born during the fifth and so far last cycle. His mother died while she gave birth to him and he was raised by his three older siblings. He froze to death after watching his pregnant mate die. His gems are blue, just as his mother's are.
  25. I just recently started playing on a new file. It's essentially a watered down Warrior Cats playthrough with customized agespan and a similar naming system. We've just been staying on Tiny Green from start until now and it's incredibly relaxing to play. I took a few screenshots and wanted to share them on here. This here is a very pretty wanderer I found. I generally adore the blind eyes look and her pattern is the icing on the cake. This is her and her only daughter, Sweetkit. I'd also like to point out the pretty nichelings on the right and our first hybrid being born on top. Now THIS is what we call a gorgeous pattern. Sadly she was sick, but nevertheless absolutely stunning. Possibly one of the prettiest blind creatures I've ever encountered. She looks like a being from an entirely different world. Mom and daughter looking like clones of each other with slight changes - Version 2.0 and 2.1 Textbook example of a pretty boy: A handsome boy with an extremely sympathetic name. Family picture. They all share a father, purrsnout and grey one (Prettykit aged up) are from one mother, the other three from another one. The start of one of the prettiest bloodlines I've had: Her daughter: Grandchild: Great- and great-great-grandchild. Still very pretty right? But the line started to fall apart after this generation: The red coat made a reappereance with him, but he doesn't fully count since he's not that pretty (plus the line was matrilinear). Had another funny lineage where all three generations used the prefix "Black" Again, another stunning girl. Funny example of recessive genes, granddaughter looks just like her grandma: Again, some very pretty nichelings (He's gorgeous, right?) His daughter, who might be my favorite nicheling from this playthough. She's just so asthetically pleasing. Family picture (Fun fact: her mother was the daughter of one of the above nichelings, Lightkit, who mated with her half-brother) Whenever a particularly beautiful male appears he gets to have at least four kids (which is a lot considering the tribe limit is 10) Family before and after the dad died (he is the second child of the family from the picture from above) And last, two boyfriends who adopted this ophaned boy:
