  1. Hmm... Wellllll if it's following Dragon Tear, then I suggest something jungle related. Dragon Tear's home was in the jungle but an ape came and murdered her so maybe avenge her and rule the jungle to try and defeat the apes?
  2. long inhale OKAY SO! I've been meaning to post this for a SUUUUPER long time. It's just I never got to it.. then computer issues... then other things... soooooo Here it is now! Introducing, the Pattern Challenge. Here me out on this, it's REALLY HARD TO DO. I attempted to do this while I had my old computer and it just became painful- that's because I did it the painful way but oh well The Basics Alright, so time to figure out what this is all about. I'm sure you can at least get a small idea of what it may be from the title.. So, there are four classes. Patternless, Spots, Stripes, and Mask. Each class has a different rank on what they should and should not do while dong this challenge. In a way, it's a type of hierarchy, where the lower they go, the more poor they are treated. Biiiiig rip. This is the order of the hierarchy: 1) Mask 2) Stripes 3) Spots 4) Patternless Patternless Patternless Nichelings are your lowest ranked creatures, receiving the omega rank and having their gems green. These guys do all of the dirty work and HAVE to listen to any rank higher than them. These guys must provide food, defend literally everything, clear grass.. and the list goes on. Patternless Nichelings barely breed at all and only breed once they are getting too old or they are ordered to by a higher rank so there can be a decent supply of Patternless creatures to do the work. Patternless creautres tend to be fearful and nervous, always on edge and fearing the worst from the higher ranks above them. They show as much genuine respect as possible in hopes they do not have to get banished. Patternless Nichelings are also very secretive. These guys have the ability to create dense grass labyrinths to escape to that the higher ranks do not ever discover because they are too lazy to clear away just a little bit of grass. Spots Spotted Nichelings, though one rank higher than the Patternless Nichelings, still get pretty banged up. They receive the beta rank and their gems are pink. These guys only have to listen to what Mask or Striped creatures say to them and they can feel free to order any Patternless creature around. These guys provide food and clear grass, for they do not have to fight a bearyena if there is one in the area. If they are the lowest rank, however (if there are no patternless creatures around) they must take up the responsibilities of the Patternless creatures. Spotted creatures are witty and sly. Though they know placing their paws in the wrong place will lead them into a fatal situation with the higher ranks, they still are able to get a laugh out of everything. Though they are told to show no respect towards Patternless creatures, Spotted creatures sympathize them and secretly help them when the higher ranks are not looking. Stripes Striped Nichelings have much more control thanks to them being a higher rank. Though they do not have full control, they can at least relax a bit. They receive the beta rank and have their gems turned yellow. In a sense, these guys are second in command to the Masked Nichelings. They are able to control the actions of Spotted and Patternless creatures and only have to listen to Masked creatures. Instead of getting down and dirty at all, these creatures only have to gather food. Striped Nichelings are resentful and have a snappy attidute. They constantly take out their anger on the lower ranks by forcing them to do their work. In secret, the Striped Nichelings wish they could eventually build an army to overthrow the wretched and unfair Masked Nichelings. Mask Finally, we have our Masked Nichelings. These guys.. hOOOOO BOYYYY... These guys are automatically bumped up to Alpha rank and are given blue gems. Being the highest rank, Masked Nichelings literally do absolutely nothing. The only thing they do in their spare time is breed or explore aimlessly in hopes of finding another Masked creature lurking within the grasses. Their whole purpose is literally to sit still and look pretty... Masked Nichelings are very snobby and disrespectful to all ranks below them. In a sense, they are tyrannical kings and queens forcing their citizens to provide for them no matter the circumstance. Masked creatures are often seen picking on lower ranks, especially Patternless ones. OKAY SO NOW THAT'S OVER WITH HERE'S SOME RULES 1) When you find wanderers, inviting them in depends entirely on their pattern. If you want, you can choose a generator to determine the outcome, but this is how it will usually work. Patternless : Killed. Spots : Reluctantly Accepted. Stripes : Accepted. Masked : Gratefully Accepted. 2) Masked Nichelings don't do ANYTHING. Not even clear grass. do you see why this is hard now 3) Striped creatures can only gather food (no hunting, no clearing grass, nada) 4) Spotted creatures gather food and clear grass and repair nests. 5) Patternless creatures do everything. (Defending, hunting, gathering) 6) Nichelings of the same pattern only breed with each other. (Ex. Spot to Spot, Mask to Mask, etc.) If you want a dense and drama filled story line then HAVE A FORBIDDEN ROMANCEEEEEEEE So uh, yea. Have fun with this I guess. trust me once you start it's going to be so hard and you're gonna find yourself making your masked creatures doing something other than walking around and breeding lmao ALSO, FEEL FREE FOR SOME STORY TWISTS, I WONT STOP YOU For example, you can have your patternless nichelings start a riot and overthrow the masked creatures and have the entire ranking system get switched around, visa versa Or or or you can have some sort of forbidden romance between a spotted and a striped nicheling! OR- you know what nevermind JUST HAVE FUN LOL
  3. YAY okay time to start up a new challenge that I've been meaning to get too but never did because my computer decided to just die and yea
  4. In all honesty, I do think the Protector rank will suit Whale best, and either Protector or Gatherer. As of now, we do not currently have a reassuring count to protect us from the dangers lurking within the darkness... Whale, because of your sharpened claws and your curled horns, you are very strong and have the potential to slay a bearyena if one dares to venture near the Colony. Along with your tail, you can use the water to your advantage while in a quarrel. In my eyes, you are best suited as a Protector. Orca, though you are blessed with the pointed paws, have more of a zen sense to you. This is most likely from your antennae, given to you from the winged wonders that only ever briefly make an appearance in a Nicheling's life. Your inquisitive and focused nature most likely makes you distracted, yes? For you can sense things that others cannot. So I do suggest you pick Gatherer. Though, I will not stop you from picking any rank you choose. You can take as much time as you need. - With care, Dragon Tear
  5. Of course, as two blessed with the sea as much as I was, bearing the tail of a much larger fish than you can dream, you two are accepted. Do not worry, for your horns shall be tipped with the softest of blossoms to resemble the peace of my Colony. I have been hearing stories about this said Poop... they have tried to declare war against my Colony as well. I understand your fear, but do not feel that way in here. I shall keep you safe no matter the cost. Do you two wish for any specific rank? If not, I can easily assign you into the Youth rank if you so choose. - With care, Dragon Tear
  6. I'm pretty sure there is a demo available to download? Though it is a very old version so it wont be like how the game is now... but I do think they are currently making a newer demo to play! So, instead of buying the game, you could for now download the demo and then save up to purchase the full game.
  7. I like this idea! Maybe there could also be a section to where you can post Challenge Ideas, not playthroughs. Like basically explaining what to do in the challenge and stuff
  8. Here's the thing that saddens me most the amount of dedication put into this
  9. Oh- oh my- there's no need for a war- I did not commit such an act- Dragon Tear quakes violently You must have the wrong creature! I'm sure of it! Also, I shall sign the peace treaty as well. I do not want war and would much rather spend time trading my goods to help the wellbeing of others. - With care, Dragon Tear
  10. Caramel's Crabbit Cult! too dark okay how about lair
  11. Basil

Greetings, Lucent. I have sparked an interest in your said Leech Meat that you have. I do prefer eating my meals with at least a small bit of protein... but not so much like bunnils or stagmoles. Snails are just overwhelming me now... My Colony's export list is somewhere above for you to look at. Thank you! - With care, Dragon Tear
  12. There is no need for violence, dear. We shall guide this lost youth up and out of the spiraling darkness of Poop's violent treacherous ways. - With care, Dragon Tear
  13. I do see that you are interested in taking the role of Beta, so, as a Goddess of Beauty myself, I accept you into that role. - With care, Dragon Tear
  14. Born of the tense porcupine with a touch of peace from a doe, I accept. Your ability to collect will not change my mind on your ability to find a place to settle down in my heart, however. Make yourself welcome, dear! You are allowed to pick from the supply of healing fruits that my Colony grows deep within the densely packed jungles, so do not fear. They represent a minimal form of ambrosia the gods have provided for our Colony, so please do take as many as you wish. - With care, Dragon Tear
  15. Is that a bird born of snow and beauty? Along with a tail that paralyzes at the slightest touch, you are a fine young lass. As of now I will assign you the Youth role, for you have not specified which you want. Do you have a name? Or do you wish to be called... Poop's Sister by the rest of my colony? However, I will keep a very close eye on you, for I can sense your distance heritage to a recent offender of mine... - With care, Dragon Tear
  16. We will miss you! Thanks for you early contribution! ❤️
  17. I shall welcome you with open arms. Though I cannot specifically choose your rank until I can see your true visual appearance, you will be apart of my Colony! - With care, Dragon Tear
  18. Oh dear... seems as if my Colony and I need to keep high alert of any suspicious activity or intrusion. We are not sheep and do not let wool get pulled over our eyes easily. - With suspicions, Dragon Tear
  19. Ah, yes, two young lads will make a great addition to my Colony. Light, as of now, there is no rank for a hunter. I do not wish to harm wildlife such as rabbils and stagmoles. You could be a collector, however! In a way, they do hunt, but it is mostly snails. And for Sparrow, I should not be so assumptive of those who do bear the horns of the ram. Not all creatures with a crown of curled keratin have the sense to ram their way straight into danger and battle. I accept you as my Colony's first healer! - With care, Dragon Tear
  20. Ah, young lad! What the interesting tail you have, for I do recognize it from a stinging bug from the flaming savannas. I see you have also been blessed with the peace sign of the deer, which sparks my interest. Please make yourself comfortable here! Also, just to clarify, you are unsure of the role you want to take and you would like to join the Youth? You did mention fishing, however, so is that amongst your interests aswell? There is a new rank that I have added that allows you to be a Fisher if you so choose. - With care, Dragon Tear
  21. Alright, if that is what you so desire, lost one. I will not stop you. Though I do not wish to battle soooo flees - With care, Dragon Tear
  22. I will take that as a yes... - With care, Dragon Tear
  23. (I think later there's RP but for now I guess just uh.. wait?? You could submit more Nichelings tho lol)
  24. Of course, young one. As of now, having so few in my Colony is making it difficult for the three of us. I am glad that you have considered! And do no fret, for your ears may be those of a beast, but that does not mean your heart is of one too. - With care, Dragon Tear
  25. Oh, lost youth. Has the dark spiral of war taken your mind ahold in it's devilish grasp? I would like to create peace with you and take the time to teach you the ways of harmony, if you so oblige. - With care, Dragon Tear I WAS REALLY HOPING POOP WOULD JOIN DRAGON TEAR'S COLONY LOL - Basil
