Now there are only 2 nichelings in the tribe. I thought I was about to lose them just about now... A beautiful chocolate wanderer joins the tribe, only to get attacked by a rogue male. lovely. At least the wanderer had the gathering skill, giving Meis enough material to make a nest! Reanara is born! She looks like her mother, but has the derp snout and unfortunately cannot dig. I tried to mate Meis and Roku, but the fertility was too low... i swear i almost lost it at this point Meis has a child called Mela! The child of the rogue's daughter, Taduk, is also born! Ramfoxes attack the nest. Also Kuro is sick! But the tribe is slowly adapting to the island. The digging trunk comes back into the tribe! More trunks! The tribe is growing! peacock Even more trunks! ooof she was named after Jessimew's goddess of war? 😮 The tribe gets more skilled at catching meat! A half winged warrior is born! more infertility... Roro is used as bait (sorry Roro) but this bear is really old! I guess somebody can kill the bear soon The family tree!

We have a walrus deer, rabbils and THREE BALANCE BEARS also a new baby girl was born and we're running low on females so that's good i risked dukkir's life to get lala(well not really but he's shortsighted and could be eaten by a beqr). and she can't even have his child.... NICHE WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS TO ME Dukkir goes off into the mountains to fight the balance bears following him. This gives Nuvan and the baby time to hunt and dig. However, Nuvan gets cold and has to keep up with the rest of the tribe. Another bear joins and the tribe size is the same as the bears. A white creature, hidden in the snow appears! He looks cool, but he won't help much and shares similar immunities to the tribe. oof The snow melts, uncovering yet another snowy white creature. There are now more creatures joining the tribe.another creature who can't build a nest... Dukduk passes away, leaving behind a strong but sickly daughter. death Lame is infertile! At least she'll help with gathering food and calling for wanderers I actually thought that the tribe would be dead by now. But then Kukirta showed up! He's old, but at least there is a mate for the digging trunk (i forgot her name because i wasn't bothered to name the creatures, as i didn't want to get too attached to the tribe until they had a stable food supply and population)! fertility problems Meis is born! She has albinism, good digging skill and PEACOCK TAIL! Roku, our sickly saber fanged creature's child, is born. But then, the tribe's population dropped again, leaving behind three survivors, one infertile.

i feel so bad for you for getting this island..... black fur, spots, velvet paw, big nose are some genes i would recommend.

sorry for taking a long time to post, I have to scroll down to the bottom of the screenshots folder for every single picture and i'm lazy The balance bear is killed, leaving the tribe with a fair amount of food. However, the numbers are dropping... i'm so stupid. we don't even have enough nesting material for Anaana. EDIT: HOW DID I NOT NOTICE THE NEST BEHIND HER? i'm so dumb.... There are however plenty of rabbits, so food is not as much of an issue as i expected. Our blind warrior gives birth to an awesome but sick baby named Isis! It's Reko's last day, but she has done so much for the tribe. Rest in peace my beautiful blind child. A male is born, named Nuvan. He has a few flaws, but is overall a pretty good nicheling. A sick wanderer near the end of his days comes just at the right time. We need more nichelings in the tribe! Duknuku defrosts the ice, revealing a young ancient warrior, Dukkir. More later!

I kept the numbers small so the days were shorter, and i'm also really shocked the tribe survived that long. I never start on hard islands apart from jungle gate or summer mountains, I guess we were just lucky with the first glacier to have a trunk and the abundance of prey.

For @Brokenshock's challenge. I didn't have high hopes for this tribe at the start, but the tribe is somehow STILL ALIVE after 150 days (I played for 2 hours). I'll post the first few screenshots in this post, and post the next few in the replies. I don't have good screenshots because things were really hectic for the first few generations. If you have any name suggestions you can comment them below but please don't suggest a name for a specific nicheling until I ask for name ideas for that creature. Decent starters, however they don't have the digging paws. I decided to start anyway because I was stupid. rip my tribe 😮 the first glacier has a digging trunk! The tribe tries to catch a walrus deer for the food. The digging trunk has had a purr snout child who is being attacked by a ramfox and a bear! Luckily he survived. And the pairing had similar immunities, but he wasn't sick. Also the blind nicheling was invited into the tribe later, and she defended her tribemates from the bear and foxes. the snow melted. more bears. and this thing popped up out of nowhere. infertile boi the winged nicheling gave birth to this cute digging trunk! SHE WILL GET US SO MUCH FOOD I have like 100 more screenshots but i'm too lazy to post them rn so have these for now

she's a bit scary but ngl i actually like her quite a bit found her as a wanderer (i think she might even be the mother of the nicheling i submitted for another miss niche) also am i the only one who likes cracker jaw? I used to dislike it but now I think it's really cute

Razulia! (i was digging through my screenshots trying to find my old derpsnout Teal but I found this derpsnout creature instead but most of her body was covered so i spent an hour trying to reincarnate her on a copy of my main save and now this creature looks almost exactly like the original)

If you know which folder the screenshots are saved in, you can find them as an image there (I use Windows, if you don't use Windows it might not work)

For @Takoyaki I'm so sorry this is late! I was busy for the first few days and I coloured over the wrong layer and noticed halfway through colouring. oof. This is also my first time shading with the airbrush so apologies if the shading looks a bit choppy in places. I'm also remaking the background and posting it in the replies (I made this simpler background so I could get this posted as soon as possible)

Does that mean that you can't import it, or don't know how to? If you don't know how to then you have to find the saves folder (you can find it by following the instructions here ) and you can move this tribe into the saves folder. If the slot is taken you can move the save out to make room for this file.

I edited the family tree! (I made Kirvanta and Nuvanta "ex-partners" of Amanita because they were both wanderers without children or had a mate that was a wanderer)

I chose Jonas as the new patriarch, he's my favourite out of the newest generation. This is what I've done with the tribe, I gave some new gems to the creatures but you can change the gem colours if you want. Peaches has just run into a new wanderer! He is adorable. The kids are playing happily together. Jonas is getting along well with his best friend, Kokonut. Time to migrate to the new island! Kokonut seems to be taking her pet crabbit along with her. The new island is huge. There is a lot for the creatures to explore. Petan and Tigrily are enjoying a walk down the beach, while Jonas and Kokonut make their way towards a nearby oak tree. Peaches and Rovan have an adorable son, Oreo! Meanwhile, Petan and Tigrily have found a new home next to a huge lake. There's a rogue male! Peaches and Rovan do not take kindly to him and chase him away. Two babies are born, Cream and Fennel. Fennel has an "unusual" interest to the black berries which most of the creatures hate, but luckily they aren't making her sick. WHO IS THAT??! The day poor Kassi has her first gem, everything dies, even the nest. Twins, Waterli and Kuekiie! )(oof waterli blinked XD) Things were going smoothly for the tribe, until... Kuekiie and several other nichelings were successful in taking the bearyena down. Luckily nobody was wounded in the process. The wanderer who was in the grass earlier just attracted this cute bean! Their immunities are compatible! Poor Kassi. Tigereye's parents (Tigrily and Petan) have unfortunately died, so Kirvanta and Rame adopt her. Our patriarch, Jonas has sadly passed away. Sorry that this story was really long, but we have 10 potential matriarchs/patriarchs! This tribe has been really lucky with twins so there are a lot of creatures in the tribe, but they are very close to the ports so whoever continues can pick their top 10 creatures to go to the next island. 1: Just invite them. I don't keep any wanderers because they always steal my food. It depends on my tribe whether to kill them or keep them. 2: Keep it far away from other creatures, or feed to the bluebirb if I hate it. 3: RUN 4: Depends on how much I like the creature and how slow/far they are. I mostly wait for them though. 5: If I still need to get all the bearyena genes, yes. ngl I always invite them in unless they just get annoying
