WC Challenge Beta: Tinyclan

This updated edition of my Warriorcats playthrough is going to be set on the Tiny Green Island in sandbox mode. I couldn't stay away...

This edition is going to start with Tinystar and his mate, Lowwhisper. Tinystar is a nosy, family-oriented cat who is planning on starting a clan with his mate and having many kits. Lowwhisper is a cat of very few words, and when she does speak, it's usually hard to hear. They settle in on the island and have their first kit, Doebelly. She's a bit airheaded, so Tinystar is sure to train her diligently to be a tough fighter when she's caught off-guard.

Soon, they have another kit- she is named Mosstoe, and though eccentric, she is a social butterfly, and is able to make everyone around her laugh.

One day on patrol, Tinystar meets a young rogue female. She is blind and sickly, and is called Chestnut. She is beautiful, and Tinystar must admit that he does have an attraction to her. He meets her on clan borders and courts her, and soon they, too, have a kit. Tinystar dies before the kit is born due to old age, leaving Doebelly, now Doestar, to take over due to her mother's old age and incapability to be leader for long.
Blind and in unfamiliar territory, Chestnut stumbles to a nest and has her kit. She is named Dappleleopard. Lowwhisper finds the two of them smack dab in the middle of their camp in the morning. There are no males in sight and she recognizes the stale scent of Tinystar on Chestnut. Enraged, she nearly kills the she-cat and chases her out of camp until she, too, drops dead of old age.

Now alone, Mosstoe and Doestar are left alone to care for Dappleleopard. but how are two young she-cats to atone for the sins of their parents? Find out next time in... Tinyclan.

Dappleleopard is getting along well in the clan. She is sweet and has a heart of gold. She is told that Mosstoe is her mother and that her father is some rogue. Doestar doesn't like the lie, but Mosstoe is happy to affirm it in order to keep the sanity of the young she-cat.

On patrol, the clan finds a young albino male named Littlefang. He's desperate to prove himself as strong, and may have a touch of a tender heart once you get to know him.

Littlefang finds himself attracted to Dappleleopard. They mate and have a kit, who they name Oathowl. Doestar dies, and Mosstoe is made leader, naming Dappleleopard as her deputy.

Oathowl feels a connection to Starclan as she grows, and it seems that she is destined to be medicine cat. However, this is a blessing and a curse. Oathowl is visited in a dream by her grandmother, Chestnut. Chestnut orders for the truth to be revealed to Dappleleopard about what happened. Shakily, Oathowl approaches her mother, shakily telling her the story revealed to her in her dreams- Tinystar mating with Chestnut in secret, Chestnut being chased out, the adoption of Dappleleopard by Mossstar.

Brokenhearted and enraged,  Dappleleopard confronts Mossstar and demands why she was lied to. Mossstar answers honestly and says that she never meant to hurt her, and thought that she was protecting her. Dappleleopard insists that if Mossstar doesn't trust her with the truth, then she shouldn't trust her as deputy, and steps down from her position.

Patrolling and looking for a new deputy, Mossstar stumbles upon a young apprentice-aged male, Stonepuff. She offers him a position in the clan, and he excitedly agrees. Later, he is named deputy. Though a bit irresponsible, he has a lot of energy, similar to Mossstar.

Mossstar has lived many moons, and her death seems imminent. Oathowl, now a medicine cat and renamed Grainpurr, has instincts with these sort of things and comes to Mossstar's side to talk to her while the end looms over. She asks Mossstar if she ever regrets not having kits, and Mossstar simply looks at her with a smile. "I always had a kit," she said. "She's named Dappleleopard." Such a cheesy line only earns her a grumpy snort from Dappleleopard, but nevertheless it healed the wound between them. Mossstar dies and Stonestar takes her place.

There seems to be peace in the clan, but how will Stonestar treat the clan as leader? May Starclan light his path..

Today on Tinyclan:

A new male approaches the clan and goes by the name of Loudstrike. He is as attention-grabbing as his name suggests, and finds it hard to take things seriously. Soon after, the clan is joined by Breezefire, a secretive young female.

While Breezefire isn't interested in anyone, Loudstrike takes quite the interest in Grainpurr. Though she feels against taking her mind off of medicine cat work, she agrees to have a kit with him. She is named Sorrelflash, and is much more like her mother than her father.

A predator enters the camp, near where Sorrelflash is resting in her nest. Loudstrike jumps in front of the nest and kills the predator with the help of the clan, but is gravely injured. He dies of his injuries overnight. This causes Sorrelflash to develop a slightly pessimistic outlook on life.

The clan is soon joined by Nettlelion, a tall and sturdy warrior. Though a bit gloomy, he's rather shy and sweet, making him a gentle giant of sorts.

Old clan members die, and this leaves Nettlelion and young Sorrelflash, now Sorrelstar, to fend for the clan.

At fifty-one days, the clan moves islands. Will Tinyclan do well away from the Tiny Green island that gave them their namesake?

Nettlelion dies shortly after their arrival on the new island, and Sorrelstar is plagued with a leech on her neck. With nobody to get it off, she becomes desperate and afraid that these might be her last moons. However, she is confronted by a rogue male, who promises that if she will mate with him he will remove the leech. She agrees, and off the male goes. Sorrelstar is about to have the kit, but she cannot help but worry. How will she take care of a kit with no other clan members

In the midst of her stress, she is approached by a warrior named Losthatch who asks if she needs any assistance. She explains the situation to him, and he assures her that she and her kit will be fine. He was an orphan and grew up by himself, he explains, and though it got lonely, he knew how to survive. He offered, however, that if it made her feel any better, he would stay with her and help her raise the kit. She thanks him and agrees. Soon, the kit is born, and she names him Lostolive, after the warrior who agreed to help her. Unfortunately, she dies soon after his birth due to how long she had the leech, and this leaves Losthatch, now Loststar, to raise his adoptive son. He decides to be upfront with Lostolive from the start and explain that he is not his son, but he still loves him like one. 

Lostolive grows to be a rough and rowdy warrior, which Loststar assumes to be from his biological father. Loststar, however, dies, so Lostolive must become Loststar II and continue to search for a way to continue his clan like his mother had.

Fortunately while stumbling through the tall grass, Loststar finds a perfect tree stump to call for other lone cats on. His calls attract a young female his age named Pricklefallow. Serious and reserved, she's by no means an easy female to warm up to, but Loststar II is determined to win her chilly heart. He mates with her.

Before the kit is even born, another female stumbles upon to clan territory. She is named Softrose, and is a determined young she-cat. She seems to hit it off with Pricklefallow and they become fast friends. She helps her name her kit, Thornwhisker. Thornwhisker has a curiosity streak, which often makes it hard to control him when he is tempted to go out exploring. At least Softrose is there to keep track of him, right...?

Soon after Thornwhisker is born, Pricklefallow and Loststar II have another kit. An ambitious young female, she is named Echoclouds.

Thornwhisker is attacked by a Bearyena when straying a bit of a way off from the clan one day. He gets a grave wound, and is forced to live like an elder would. Luckily, he finds a healing fruit to stay alive, but he will never fight again.

Echoclouds takes over the clan when her father dies and is renamed Echostar. She is a young, strong, and smart leader, but how will she be able to manage? How will her now crippled brother manage?

Echostar stumbles upon a rogue male during patrol, and her brother advises strongly against mating with him- he is sickly and quite possibly could be dangerous to be around. Nevertheless, Echostar knows that a kit will secure the clan's future for at least a while longer, and agrees to mate with him.

Echostar gives birth to a kit named  Shythrift. Clever and tough, Shythrift seems like a great candidate for living out the warrior life, even in a situation as tough as this. Upon maturation, Echostar named Shythrift deputy.

Patrolling, Echostar finds Claystep, an optimistic and flirtatious young warrior not much older than Shythrift. The two of them become mates, and Shystar takes the throne when Echostar dies. They have Lavapelt, a fireball kit who looks much like her mother.
