Nicheling pregnancy question

So when Yarrow gets pregnant her belly is yellow

 

 

but when she gives birth...

 

It turns white again!

 

.....is that normal? (also twins, yay! ❤️)

I sometimes have that too. It doesn't make much sense, but you can usually find it in other's screenshots

Yeah, as random says. Normal but doesn't make much sense. Of course we could argue that the pregnancy hormones make the belly a different colour

It takes on the base color so if they have mask pattern covering the belly it will be a diff color.

basically it takes the color of the base fur color instead of the pattern color.

yeah it weird. but sometimes it makes the nicheling look cooler.
