Heat/Reaching a certain age to mate

Most mammals aren't ready to reproduce once they have reached adulthood. Some species have certain time spans in which they can get pregnant (like cats) while others have to reach a certain age. My idea would be to have the choice between a heat slider (female gets in heat all x days and the heat lasts for x days) and a mating-age slider (females are ready to mate at x days, males are ready to mate at x days).

yessssss this game needs more difficulty options for breeding, this 100% needs to happen.

maybe the system could be toggled on/off so that default settings aren't affected incase you don't want the added difficulty.
