I don't have any in-game screenshots of them because their genes are fan-made 😅 but I can give a brief description if needed! (also the healing fruit in it's mouth is not required) Edit: I made a fake gene lineup for them! Their fur colors are blue+black, their eye color is pink, and their tail gene is a squirrel tail!

WOO ITS BEEN A WHILE LETS GET SOME ART DONE SHALL WE- First up is some example scenes I made for my commission sheet. Surprise- they're both nichelings! (Please be aware that the second image has some blood in it!) First is a scene between an ex friend's oc and mine, the yellow fellow is Ryn and the white one is Persephone. I've forgotten the context, but it was from a very old RP we had. Next is from that same RP server, this one I remember the context for! The brown gal is Amane, my oc, and the second one is Dukrokir, my partner's oc. Amane tried to attack Dukrokir because she was infected with rabies, while Dukrokir is shielding a baby nicheling from her. (Her own kid might I add, how tragic.) Next is a scene I did for a 30 day art challenge (which I need to continue lol-) the first prompt was "Fern" so I drew Ferncloud from Warriors with her kits Foxkit and Icekit. Next is my character for a minecraft server I started for my friends. His name is Jax, he's a lacrym (bird/human hybrid) who's also infected with Sculk This one is my banner for my art twitter, catfish_arty! Featuring Hollyleaf, Adam, Baal, and then Jax! Next up are some lacrym designs I made for SBI! In order is Tommy, Techno, and Wilbur! Phil is yet to be finished lol- Next is some more nichelings! This is a guy who was also a part of the RP server Amane and Persephone were in. His name is Vankuku, and he was part of a savanna pack. The first one is when he was young, the second is when he was older (injured by a competing pack) and the last is when he's dead, he appears in the void. Next is ANOTHER nicheling, shocking I know. This is my sona Muddy, I remade eir reference page. (Ey use ey/em/eir pronouns btw, please be mindful!) Last but not least is another scene example I made, featuring Barley and Ravenpaw in the pasture outside their barn :] That's all for this time, stay tuned gamers

Making a feature where you can attack members of your own pack could be a problem because a misclick could kill an important nicheling or a baby. I think it should be a togglable feature for sandbox OR a 'seperate pack' feature could be added, so you can make several smaller groups out of your already existing pack. (and from there, each pack can attack eachother but not their own members.) If you're looking for a current feature for this, you can use the console (only works on PC, press F1 or SHIFT+F1) to administer an attack using the command 'takedamage [insert number]'. On top of this, as far as I'm aware they are not updating Niche any further, but from what I've heard a sequel may appear in the future? We'll just have to see! Hope this helps!

lol yeah i almost crashed opening my save once... i also almost crashed when i opened the family tree at 1000 nichelings

ohh it looks like youre on switch version or... something NOT pc version, i dont think you can access cheats so ignore me 😅

good luck! for max efficiency id recommend clearing the whole island, cheating in food, and making sure all of your nichelings have high speed/swimming (just in my experience, if you want to do it a different way go ahead!)

update: im currently at 1690 nichelings and entering phase 2 of my plan: basically, ive filled up the ocean, so now im filling the island itself with nichelings now. its gonna be a slow process but im determined to finish this !!

im easily entertained and im hyper focused on niche rn lol

What exactly does "balance bear" mean ? Does it balance how many animals are on an island ? I don't get it.

Has anyone done any math to see how many tiles the Archipelago has? Including the ocean? It's the biggest island I think, and i was thinking about covering it in nichelings, but i wanna know just how big it is before i do that >:D A dev answer would also be great, considering yall made the island lol

the website is mostly japanese i believe, if you use a google translate on the page it should help? there should be a button somewhere asking for you to sign in/make a picrew. idk if ill ever finish it (it is LOADS of work) but ill definitely post it on the forums for everyone to see! (and ill deffo check out yours, if you also finish it!)

picrews are very hard to make (im also working on a niche picrew-) if you do look into making one, (look for tutorials on google or youtube) make sure you are FULLY prepared!

Xenogenders fall under the non-binary umbrella. They're basically a seperate set of genders - usually used by autistic individuals - that is related to a person's real life relationship to items/animals/concepts. For example, some people feel a strong connections to cats or cat-like objects/creatures, so much so it affects their gender identity (catgender). The reason it is particularly common among autistic people is because we have a harder time understanding social constructs - including gender - which leads to confusion and different understandings of how things work/feel. It may not make sense to a lot of people, but it is not any less valid.
