  3. I know the devs have made an idea on this for a challenge mode, but i like the idea of having to make the player breed in water genes? Just like having to breed in cold resistance or stealth in the Long winter or 'Root of the problem' islands. I very much like the idea of swimming and stuff, but as it stands, it's pretty boring. There are no threats or reason to even go down there. So before thinking about my idea i'd much prefer to get more diverse underwater ecosystems, but here's my idea anyway! The island, upon arrival will receive rains in X amount of days, being detectable by your antennae bearing animals. After the time is up, heavy rains will begin to flood the island, sinking your helpless nichelings. Unless of course: they're in their element! Perhaps you have to survive the flood as a gateway island? (Long island/Root jungle) Or maybe you start on small amount of land and have to cross a large amount of water to get to a new island. (As for the predators, prey or plants, maybe they could be released with this island.) Tell me what you think.

  5. I've wanted this so much! ToT It's cruel but is a lot better then dealing with thieves or sick tribe members, instead of possibly letting the sickness spread. Also like someone else has stated it's great for story telling. Upvoted!!
  6. There's scientific names for 'Live birth & Egg laying' Animals: Viviparity - Animals that bear live young Oviparity - Egg laying animals Its a bit of a mouthful though ;/
  7. I've thought about this too! Though maybe the echolocation can be an ability with a gene (e.g if antennae could use it, (something else though :p) Great suggestion :3c!

  9. Awesome idea! If you wanted to add a harder factor the deer could be a pest? An example would be if the deer destroyed grass or berry bushes, it could be a mix of a lotus/deer. Of course i'm not too keen on my idea and i'd love to just have a deer that wouldn't annoy the ever living hell out of me, so tell me what you think? ;3

Something i love to do now is have multiple tribes across an island and make my own story but its too easy and gets boring most times so i have thought about some aspects that i would really enjoy, and hope you guys agree ^u^ 'Split food storage's' Meaning if i were to have 2 tribes; one tribe would have 40 food while the other has 60 food, that way i can gather food for a specific tribe and they don't have to help each other? I guess a way this could happen is toggling it on and off, or have another button like the 'Alpha, Beta, Omega' as '1,2,3,4' and each member from a tribe will have the same numbers. 'Physical food storage' To have a tile that holds all of your food would be interesting and might add a layer of difficulty though it may be hard to implement. Creatures and wild nichelings/rogues may try and take or eat some food? Toggle on/off. You have to defend your food. 'Carry food' (To make previous suggestion possible but also it bothers me that the food or nesting material is just... there and not physical.) One nicheling could carry all the food and be unable to perform anything other than Swim or Walk (and of course the sensory buttons if you are counting those). Once the food is put onto a tile the nicheling will be able to perform normal tasks once again. 'Attack each other' I've seen another post about this so i wont go into much detail but possible hurting other nichelings so the tribes could be at war. In the post i seen they made a button to toggle it on and off. 'Enslave' I don't know how this would work out, but imagine on most creatures (not all or it would be op??) maybe just wild nichelings; after a sort of compared debate from genetics (maybe through strength?) You could chose to enslave them? now when i say this i mean they are not in your tribe but bring food to your food pile? I would have suggested this idea alone but i really love food pile so yeah... OR! You could tell the creature what to do through a 'perform' button, so 'Stay' to make it stay on the tile (For breeding purposes i assume) 'Retrieve food' Go to the nearest food source and bring it back. Even if it's not a nicheling, this would be fun because i love the idea of attempting to control a wild animal but eventually it may try and run away? I wanted to implement these because of my personal hobbies in niche but also i went into the steam challenges and a lot of the challenges have tribes as well. Any more suggestions? ;3 Please tell me if anything was too hard to understand, i may add more.
  12. What if; Somehow a nicheling survived 365 days (through console commands or future updates) and something happens? Perhaps their fur turns golden or they get a crown? If anyone has played Insaniquarium; I got the idea from the diamond guppies. Unlocking a little achievement for a nichelings birthday would be amazing as well. Any suggestions? ;3

    Loud snout

    Being able to call to attract wild nichelings on the go? Yes please! I was thinking about a snout with: + Call +2 Smelling + Loud voice Not sure what it would look like, i was thinking a beak of some sort since birds do mating calls, but also had another idea; Cicada... snout... hear me out! They are the loudest insects because of their mating calls and i thought if there were ever an update for a predator or prey to be Insectivorous they would target your cicada faced nicheling. Any suggestions? ;3
