  1. I just love messing with pattern genes in my main story mode playthrough. Masks can do amazing things. Green stripy baby Some of them look so edible Post your faveourite patterns here
  2. Post screenshots of the most dramantic moments here. I'll start with the reason why you should not do really hard challenges. (Same save, same moment)
  3. A normal day on in the mountains
  4. Today I learned that nichelings have very flexible necks
  5. Which one exactly? The heat bodied one?
  6. I can't draw cracker jaws 🤣

    Borbs

I made this You can now create a borb https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/492849190/ Examples: Post your faveourite borbs here!
  8. Another example (PSM stands for PurrSnoutMaster)
  9. I drew this in paint 3D. It turned out better than I thought it would. So if you want I can draw your Nichelings... also in paint 3D. Where did my requests go?
  10. Once I changed the age of a female for a challenge. I exited the save and came back later. She had a baby in her nest and when I came back the female became a baby and shared a tile. Males could still breed with her for some reason, so I ended up watching a baby give birth 🤣
  11. Why is it that when I change the genes of a creature with console, it's profile picture does not change at it starts ageing faster?
  12. If I write my own Niche story, where do I post it? Do I post here? Or somewhere else? If not here, where?
  13. Starting Stuff: 1: Create 1 ugly female in sandbox. (Derp snout/bat head, webbed/deformed etc paws, toxic body because its lumpy and hunched, stinky tail, webbed or bearyena hind legs) 2: Make her your only Nicheling and give her plenty of food so she doesn't starve before the challenge starts. Have damage multiplier at whatever you want, but at least 1. healing multiplier must be 1. 3:Set ages to: 1 baby, 2 child, 4 teen, 30 adult. 4: Use only wanderers to breed! 5: The goal of the challenge is to breed out all her 'ugly' genes in as little generations as possible! Other Rules: When your first female dies, control one of her children. Your 'main character' is either your first female or the new child who you picked. They are an alpha, the rest are omegas, they are the only one who breeds The traits you're going for (good-looking stuff) is stuff like big nose/short snout, nice eye colours, lean/medium/big body, fishing tail, medium tail, velvet paw/runner leg, runner hind legs, and whatever fur colours you find attractive. Mutation menu is banned.
  14. I would like it to be like 'Warriors: Untold Tales'
  15. This challenge is based off Erin Hunter's book series, Bravelands. Starting Conditions: Damage and Healing multipliers are normal. Start in Rainforest, Overgrown Jungle, Deep Jungle, or Jungle Gate. Start with Nichelings at these ranks: 1 Crownleaf, 1 Highleaf, 2 Middleleaves, 1 Goodleaf (must have purr snout) , 1 Starleaf (must have antennae) , and 3 Lowleaves. The ranking system is what makes the challenge very hard! 1: every baboon's rank goes at the end of their name. Names are based of nature, like 'Twig' or 'Ant'. So if you have a Nicheling named Root at Middleleaf rank, then their full name will be 'Root Middleleaf' 2: When someone is born, they get the Deeproot rank (the lowest) but can rise. 3: When a baboon is of age (pick between 'growing 3rd gem' and 'growing 2nd gem') roll a number generator for the three feats. If they have good genetics, roll from 1 to 2. If they are average, roll from 1 to 3. If they have bad genes, roll from 1 to 4. 4: If the number lands on the highest it can go, they did the feat right. They rise a rank. Do this 2 more times for all 3 feats. Deeproot becomes Lowleaf, which rises to Middleleaf, then Highleaf. The rank they end up in is where they stay. 5: If a highleaf has antennae, they become a Starleaf. If a highleaf has purr snout, they become a Goodleaf. Starleaves predict the future and Goodleaves heal their troop. 6: Deeproots gather grass and are used as Nicheling sheilds. Lowleaves gather berries, nuts, and roots. Middleaves hunt and fight, so do Highleaves. 7: Deeproots and Lowleaves are Omegas, Middleleaves, Highleaves, Goodleaves and Starleaves are betas, the Crownleaf (leader) is an Alpha. 8: You are only allowed to mate with baboons within your rank. Crownleaves, Starleaves, and Goodleaves can mate within those three ranks as well as with Highleaves. 9: If you find a wanderer, roll a number generator from 1 to 2. If it lands on 1, you trust them so they join you. They will also do the three feats. 10: You must stay on the island for at least 25 days but migrate after at least 40 days. (Represents that baboons are nomads) 11: If the Crownleaf dies, use a random number generator to see which highleaf becomes the Crownleaf.
  16. I had an idea for a new predator that spawns very rarely on killer islands. It has a scaly reptile appearence, red with black streaks. It's huge! It takes up one tile with each foot, and between them there's space for Nichelings to squeeze in to the body. It can attack Nichelings standing next to it's feet, which look like the icon for bearyena front leg (the icon does not look like the real thing). It walks with its legs in a star shape, splayed out and close to the ground. You can attack it's body or feet, and they have different defense. The feet have 4 defense and the body is a weak point with 1 defense. It has 6 attack so don't get hit. It will also randomly destroy berry bushes, trying to starve your tribe. It drops 50 food.
  17. No offense but I don't like it. I would prefer to keep the wild animal feel with Nichelings, not giving them civilization.
