lol...my only verb so far means "to sacrifice", "to punish" and "to drown" (as well as the noun forms). how morbid of me this has interesting roots though: Separate from the Kikonokian mythology is a religion known as Hallinism (or Hallinity). They worship a single god, Hallie, to which they make regular sacrifices by way of drowning. (these sacrifices are often volunteers, though.) Thus I think the word "hal" would have come to mean sacrifice, punishment, drowning, etc, and replaced whatever word(s) previously represented those meanings. This then spread to other tribes and eventually became the norm among Kikonokians.

He lays as still and silent as one can while trembling in fear, hoping whatever it is won't notice him. Trying to get away probably wouldn't work.

so a long time ago when the first niche language came about, I made my own. it got messy and I didn't like it so I restarted it a while ago. today I remembered it, fixed some things, and added some words and I thought I'd go ahead and share it I made it styled like a real dictionary and everything haha (*laughs in pain because of how long it takes to add just one word*) the Kikonokian Language! and if you're curious, here's the old one. I'm reusing some of the words.

(alright. from now on: quotes indicate what he is saying aloud; parenthesis indicate my out-of-character thoughts/comments; and text without either indicators state his inner thoughts/feelings/actions/whatever, like a book.) Toad lays down, putting his head on the grass. Swimming is tiring for little bodies! He looks around, but all he can see is grass, towering intimidatingly above his little innocent head; he doesn't have good eyesight anyways, though. (He is near-sighted.)

Poor Toad is tired out quickly—he is too young for swimming that long! Besides that, he has a hard time walking so having some more energy before attempting to explore would be great.

How long are the lifespans? These cats feel immortal LOL Also, I like that that last part was shorter. Not because it's less content (ALL THE CONTENT!!) but because when posts (by anyone) are too long (especially if there's no pictures dividing it up) I either get bored and don't finish, or just skim. I'm probably bad at making long posts myself though haha
