  1. I literally read Crapbeeper and was really confused.
  2. Does this mean that I could send in two nichelings?
  3. Wow, they look sooo good. I really like how you did Meana, she looks awesome.
  4. Here are two more! They both have toxic body, and I love both of them. This is Meana, she's from the same tribe as Roku, and his niece. The majority of the tribe has the mask instead of the stripes that I want, and then I wanted to have a toxic body lineage, and she was born. She's the first toxic bodied nicheling I had with mask and I still can't decide what I should feel about her pattern. And here's Tourmaline, from my community challenge playthrough. I absolutely adore him. I hope these two will be fun to draw.
  5. Pets? In niche? I'm ready to give you my all. So first up, our cat Cherry: She's had her first (and pobably only) litter this year, and I'll add this picture because of the cuteness. After, her brother Smokey: I hope they are useful.
  6. I got the book as a christmas gift (I wanted it) because I already had a history with the "franchise". When I was about six to eight years old, I used to listen to the audiobook. It was intended for kids of that age and I loved it. Then, my father discovered the movie. So, we watched it - rather bad idea. The scene with the suffocating rabbits scared me to death. Lately, a review about it was recommended to me on youtube. I started to remember everything, and decided the read the book. And it's really, really good. I plan on watching the old movie soon, but I don't think I'll watch the new version, since I don't like the animation.
  7. Oh my freakin lord I love it. It's wonderful, thank you so much.
  8. Here's Roku, I already sent him to heyitsgeorgie but he's one of my favorites right now.
  9. Wow, he looks so cute - I really like your drawing style. Can I submit some more? I never noticed that he looked evil, probably because he spent his whole life with collecting berries and killing rabbils even though that's kind of evil. But then I realized how nice he looks and decided to take a screenshot before he get's deleted from the family tree.
  10. That's a great name, I'll call him like that! I hope he has a lot of beautiful babies.
  11. I just screenshoted him today, because he's about to die soon and he never had kids, so he won't be in the family tree for long. I also just realized that he has eyebrows.
  12. Last time, we discovered a wanderer, so Anais went to look for him and O my look at him! I really want to invite him, but we don't have enough food to do so. The tribe continues only with collecting food for a few days, because they are at the limit. The wanderer disappears and Anais tries to follow him. While doing so, she discovers a nest. A derp-snouted wanderer appears and since his immunities match all females except for Reme (who's still pregnant) and Anais (who I don't need for breeding) the tribe invites him. Lame proves to be useful for the tribe by removing stench from her tribemates (who collect smelly fruit). Reme gets her baby. He's thankfully not sick, and carries the velvet paw. Reme and her son are the only cracker jaws I don't need for breeding, so they crack nuts and collect berries. A bearyena appears and the tribe fights him. All three of the brown females next to him will mate with the derp snout. The bearyena dies and the tribe befriends the baby. The derp snout has been badly hurt, and is already pretty old, so he eats the healing plant. The cracker jaw next to the friendly bearyena is also hurt, she's gonna eat the other healing plant. Lame gets her baby, and he looks awesome! His fertility isn't too good, but everything else is alright. Also, Anais /Ketchup died. The tribe has more food now, everything goes smoothly. Another baby is born, she's wonderful except for the lacking dots and the bad fertility. The hurt cracker jaw female has eaten the healing plant and waits to give birth. The derp snout male is dead, and a toxic bodied wanderer has appeared. Things are going smoothly for the tribe so far. Also, are there any naming ideas for the toxic bodied boy?
  13. Aaaand here are the next 16 days. I made way too many screenshots. We continue where we have left of - the tribe is in desperate need of a young female with fitting immunities (and velvet paw). The wanderer appears again and steals some berries. The tribe has enough food, so no harm is done. Kuvannu still hits him as a warning. Koanala finally finds a permanent nest and waits to give birth. The annoying wanderer appears again and steals some smelly fruits. Our starting pair has gotten older, they have only a few days left. The wanderer has double immunities and spreads sickness. Kuvannu, Nunuro and Ronukduk get sick. The first female with the name Anais gets born (her nickname is ketchup). Even though her immunities match with Kuvannu, her genes are a disappointment. She doesn't have velvet paw, neither dots, and has non-dominant short-sighted eyes. After Anais/Ketchup's birth, Koanala mates with Ronukduk for the last time, since this was his final day. I changed my way of taking screenshots (and even switched between the different ways) so it took some time to find all of them. Now everything's fine again. Ronukduk dies, and Anais leaves her nest, for her mother to sit on it. On the following day, it's revealed that Koanala died while giving birth to a second baby - a girl again She's called Reme and has the velvet paw, her immunities don't fit to any of the males. Also, a bearyena appears and Nunuro (the derp snout with dots) attacks him. The family tree, where you can see who has the velvet paw: Sadly, Anais alias Ketchup, the only female that can savely breed doesn't have them. The tribe is hungry, and Anais helps her to-be mate Kuvannu by gathering some smelly fruits. Nunuro still fights the bearyena. Meanwhile, Reme meets an uninteresting wanderer with bad genes. Nunuro has finished off the bearyena and in doing so provides the tribe with food. This has left severe damage on him and also on his older brother, who helped him. Both healing plants have been eaten by Wanderers, so Anais mates with Kuvannu to get as many babies as possible. Nunuro dies two days after and Reme grows up. She's been cracking nuts and collecting berries since she was born. Anais and Kuvannu collect smelly fruit. Anais gets her first baby, a girl. Meanwhile, Reme secretely mates with Kuvannu. The chance of a sick baby is high, but the tribe can't afford to lose the velvet paws. Anais first daughter Kois really doesn't posess the velvet paws. She's more or less useless to the group, breedingwise. Kuvannu mates again with Anais, then passes away during the night. The tribe notices an interesting female. It's a winged female with the J-immunity. Despite her low fertility, Reme decides to try and invite her. Anais get's ready for her second child. Lame get's invited, and the tribe hears about her past. She was born into a tribe of wild, toxic bodied, bird-beaked, horned and flying nichelings. Her father was a wanderer with peacocktail and rather bad genes. Lame's mother fell for his attractiveness and mated with him, even though a partner had been assigned to her. When lame was born, her father was already gone. When her mother saw her, she realised that she had fallen for a bunch of pretty feathers and bad genes. The baddest thing about Lame was her crippled paw, since she was not only unable to fly, but also unable to collect or hunt. The tribe banned her, after naming her Lame, to warn everyone she would meet about her being a useless cripple. The tribe however is happy to accept her, since she brings them a new immunity and wings. Anais has born her second, and approximately last child. She also discovers a wanderer nearby. Anais Daughter is called Isana, and thankfully posesses the velvet paw. Her other genes could be better, but overall, the tribe is content. This is where I'll leave it so far: Forgive me for any spelling errors or uncorrect words, but his took me forever and I'm too lazy to read through it again right now. Since it keeps on giving me those pictures, I'll just call this a best-of....
  14. Vanvanduks brother looks pink. Fear the mighty sabertooth-warrior: Cupcake/Pinkie/Candycane/Cotton Candy
  15. Sooo...I got rainforest and I'm kind of scared, because you can't unlock the velvet paw, but you need it. Which is why I really wanted starters that have this gene. And I got them! Yay! So, here are my starters. It somehow didn't save all my screenshots, so I don't have one where you can their genes. The female is called Koanala and the male Ronukduk, and I keep those names since I'm terrible at naming (ideas are always welcome). Ronukduk gets dots and good eyes for the mutation menu, because he has non-dominant shortsighted eyes. Koanala gets dots too, and also Derp Snout. They decide to explore a bit and find a healing plant. Koanala buids her nest there, so she can have her first child. I really hope that it gets the velvet paw (both parents have one) They soon have their baby, and the screenshot wasn't saved again. I forgot his name, but he has one velvet paw, no dots and a cracker jaw. His parents decide to go and collect fruits from a smelling plant, and their son stays to guard the healing plant. Koanala builds a nest for the second time, and a wanderer appears. He has double velvet paw and stinky tail, but the tribe can't spare food right now. Kuvannu (the first born, finally found his name) hits him three times, but he still manages to steal the fruit. On the 10th day, Nunuro gets born. The tribe is happy that he has dots and derp snout, however they are disappointed because he's not female. I'll continue updating after the next ten/fifteen days. Names for the nichelings and tipps for surviving are welcome.
  16. Darn it, I started a practice run, but I did so good in it...Well, as long as my starters have Velvet paw, everything should be fine.
  17. The island I fear the most...Well, seems like I'll have to practice.
  18. Well, I'm in. Only question: Is there a time amount in which we have to post? Not that important, I'll die pretty soon anyway...
  19. Wow, that looks awesome! I like the idea, but so far I've been to lazy myself. After I've seen this however, I'll maybe try it. So far all of my tribes are already running for quite some time, but when I start a new one, I'll try do get myself to do it.
  20. So lately, I've been reading Watership Down, and there it is often mentioned that does can reabsorb their unborn kittens, if the conditions aren't the best. I remembered that rats can do that to, and (according to the internet) even cats have this ability. They do this (reabsorbing the fetuses) if there’s too much danger to raise them (excessive population, not enough food, too many predators around). So, this thing exists in nature - how would it be in niche? I don't know what type of gene it would be, I imagine it along the lines of the blood clotting gene, and not as a body part. Maybe you guys have a good idea? Now, how would you obtain it? Well, since it makes rogue males look like idiots, since you can just reabsorb the unwanted baby, I think that your tribe has to suffer the full rogue male curse first. Meaning, that your females not only have to get pregnant - but they have to give birth to the babies. I'd say that about 50 rogue male babies will have to get born if you want to obtain the gene. So, tell me what you think about this idea.
  21. So, i've had this idea, and I wanted to share it with some other people. So, you set the lifespan from baby to teen to one day (if this is possible). If you start on an easy island, you set the adult-lifespan either on four or eight days. With the harder islands, you just go up one day. This would lead to a way faster and harder gameplay. Please tell me what you think. Also, if someone else has already had this idea or if I posted this at the wrong place, please tell me.
