Broken Posted December 31, 2018 Share Posted December 31, 2018 Last night I tried a challenge that someone that was watching me play suggested to me, it was Console your first two nichelings to look entirely different! Then after 5 children, console the next five children to look the same, then the cycle continues. (I was saying it in a nerd/spongebob/sarcastic) So I tried it and right away when I skipped the day for the first time, the starting male died and it got stuck in perma-night, it has happened to me before so I exited that save file and deleted it. Then I wanted to do a Story Mode Challenge that I would post on here. But when I started l, like always it would skip the beginning intro like it always does. Then when I started His eyes were closed the whole time. Then when I skipped the day, It got stuck in almost day. You could see a wonderful shading work, but that wasn't supposed to happen. Then I could keep playing but adam's eyes would still be open, or his gems would still be lit up, every time he was out of moves, I would skip the day and it would stop at that same place, then I deleted the save file and tried it again, but the same thing happened. Then I tried it in Sandbox mode and it still happened. I was scared to go into any of my other save files since I had two warrior cats challenges, one had 1000 food the other had wings, I had a whims of fate and a personal tribe. Jojo Posted December 31, 2018 Share Posted December 31, 2018 The console will lead to those bugs but if you exit the game completly after using the console they will not jump to other safe files. They can even help with the console safe file. Usually I recommend after heavy use of the console before skipping the day to exit the game completly and reenter. bostonlobstah Posted December 31, 2018 Share Posted December 31, 2018 I had the same happen to me. I used the console for an experiment on DH and didn’t leave completely. I got some weird bugs. Deleted save. Started again on DH and got the endless night and eyes closed like you said. The next day I tried again this time on WI and it was fine. Your best bet is to leave and come back WITHOUT moving that creature. Just use the console, STOP, exit, come back, then do whatever.
