Day 30, Rainy #007 and his cubs have left their home and appear to be heading north. Our behavioral experts suggests that this might be both a result of #010 and #011 reaching adulthood, as well as the death of #003. Seeing that #003 migrated farther than all other individuals, this trait of hers seems to reflect in her young. An extreme closeup from one of our drones has been made, and used to assess the health of #008's newborn offspring. We currently assume the cub #016 to be male, and in good health. (#012 is seen in the middle, is father to the right) #004's agility has strongly declined, and we assume her death to be near. She has left the nest and been succesful in hunting a rabbil for her family, while #009 cared for their cubs. Their oldest cub, #013, has grown up and her genetic code has been taken. #013 "Helza"3 points

Day 28, Sunny We are glad to announce that #011 has reached aulthood! His genes were taken and show far greater diversity that the earlier generation. He and his family have spent a relaxed afternoon together. #011 "Zul" Meanwhile, #008 appears to be pregnant once again, but hasn't nested yet. We assume she might feel like she still needs to protect her first cub, and will give birth once he has grown up. With our far more advanced drones we have now been able to take yet another picture of #004 and her family. Her younger cub, #014, has been dubbed "Anli" by our researchers. Since #004 is quite old as well, we do not expect her to have another cub.3 points

After a recent issue with our drones, which rendered surveillance useless for a few hours, we have updated to the newest model currently on the market. As these drones are not only in posession of stronger batteries, but also tinier, very quiet and equipped with high-resolution cameras we will be able to take far more and better pictures of our individuals, enabling us to analyse their behaviour even better than beforehand. Our most recent update will also be the last one taken using our old drones.3 points

Day 27, #003 is showing increasing signs of old age - our team estimates she may live for another two to three days. She is currently taking care of #011, her younger cub. #007 and #010 continue to fish together, with quite some success. We are happy to see the nichelings vary their diet. #008 and #006 continue to care for their cub, both seeming to be quite protective of him. Our hopes are high that #008 will fall pregnant again soon. One of our drones has succesfully captured a picture of #004 and #009, confirming our beliefs that the pair is caring for two cubs. We are happy to identify their older cub, #013, as a female. She has been dubbed "Helza". As we have mentioned before, due to the high amount of male cubs in this generation, we are considering selecting a few of them to be given to other programmes attempting to stop the eradication of nichelings. So, the mobile version is absolutely unusable for me - no layout, everything is scattered around and weirdly colored. Might also happen because my phone is pretty old, but before the update is used to work perfectly well. Certain things are too bold, like the usernames, and there are lots of weird features, like the "--- weeks later" thing for posts.3 points

everyone else is doing these so like why not (inspired by @mhiahia's and everyone else who did something like that's thingy) You probably know that nichelings are endangered, and most are in captivity. Up to 60% of nichelings still in the wild are aquatic; we think that these formerly uncommon nichelings may be a big help in the repopulation of the species. We managed to find two healthy and compatible aquatic nichelings. We put them together, and are now closely monitoring them. "Salmon" #001 "Tide" #0023 points

-
Day 8, sunny #002 grooms #001. It seems he had a goldleech stuck to him. #003 gets more acorn and then clears some grass. #001 clears more grass and heads to a berry bush, and #002 follows.3 points
-
Day 7, rainy #001 gathers the meat from the stagmole and clears some grass, and they all go under the nearby tree for shelter from the rain. #003 gets acorn.3 points
-
Day 6, sunny #002 runs away from the bear with her child, and clears some grass under the tree. #001 joins them and kills a stagmole.3 points
-
Day 5, sunny #002 has given birth (I really just typed berth.......) to her first offspring, #003, dubbed Kelp. Our drone got a picture: #002 hops out of the nest, to her left, clears some grass, and sniffs around. She looks alarmed and then jumps between her baby and this creep. #001 travels closer to the shore and fishes up another razorania.3 points

Mostly behavior, nicheling genetics are pretty much figured out (as far as we know).3 points

Day 4, sunny #002 appears to have made a nest. #001 catches some fish, clears some kelp, and goes a bit closer to the shore.3 points
-
Day 3, sunny #001 kills a razorania and another goldleech. #002 heads to the shore of the second island (oh yeah we're on archipelago btw)3 points
-
Day 2, sunny A goldleech swims up to #001, but before it could get onto him, he kills it. #002 cracks open another shell, and they both venture deeper into the water.3 points
-
Day 1, sunny #001 goes deeper into the water, and #002 follows. #002 cracks open a shell, and #001 clears some kelp.3 points
-

I love it! the only problem is that sometimes you gotta inbreed, even with siblings (and in drastic measure, even parent to child...)3 points

Yes i gave that language a religion The Silinan Religion, known as Multi-Angulus (Latin for Many Niche) They are polythesistic, but most nichelings focus on pleasing only one of the gods. Thats why you will often see Multi-Angulan tribes fighting eachother. However, most Multi-Angulan nichelings speak Silinan, and don't learn the common language until they're teenagers. most Multi-Angulans are neutral, never starting wars, but not being afraid to fight back. In some tribes, nichelings are trained incase another tribe were to attack. Now, onto the gods, some of which have unique genes: Volt, the god of Thunder Sila, the goddess of War (picture coming soon) Reign, the goddes of Storms (picture coming soon) Vapor, the god of Fog (picture coming soon) Rata, the goddes of the Ocean (Picture coming soon) Austro, the god of Strength (Picture coming soon) Dawn, the god of Time (Picture coming soon) Isla, the goddess of Beauty (Picture coming soon) Milo, the god of Speed/Trickery (Picture coming soon) Dave, the god of the Underworld (also known as the god of Insanity) (Picture coming soon) Taze, the god of Luck (Picture coming soon) Dart, the goddess of Sickness (Picture coming soon) Cocoa, the goddess of Bravery (Picture coming soon) Drift, the god of Peace (Picture coming soon) Basalt, the god of Food (Picture coming soon) Winter & Snow, the gods of Snow (Picture coming soon) Other beings (Not worshipped like the gods, but can control some factors) Dusk (Picture coming soon) He is able to do anything a nearby entity can do. His feathers are usually on fire.2 points

Well I've head that mobile users have been having some issues. I don't have any serious problems since I'm on pc, but I'm still getting used to everything being so far apart. The thing I find most annoying is the ammount of white and weird contrasts. I'm keeping my laptop on low brigness for now so I no longer have to adjust it every time I open the forums. (This shade of color is way too light)2 points
