  3. (OK! I shall get started if this laptop with like 30-50 tabs my dad won't let me close works LOL. BTW don't blame him, he's working of some important stuff and my desktop has like 20 tabs on my own desktop. This is a beast of a laptop and it can play roblox in these conditions but niche may be a different story)
  4. @da1sy we're waiting on you to make Kirlur's form, don't feel in a hurry or stressed, just wanted to let you know))
  5. (BTW I rolled for most that stuff on Rata, so blame the dice for sadness lol. But it turned out alright cause now he can be tribes meatshield.....ok I don't not care about him that much. He has such a tragic backstory I have to love him. I hope he can redeem himself in this, but I don't even know what redemption looks like. Is it in fighting apes? Sacrificing himself? Finding a mate that works and/or successfully raisng children? Navigating? Hunting? Becoming a leader? Who knows. This will be interesting for sure.)
  6. (What's the goal in sandbox again? Also, any storylines you want me to continue or personalities of nichelings that have developed? Or any tips before I go in? Or should I just jump in and figure it out?)
  7. When they were a-ways away, Dove said to Panther, "I haven't told them what you told me yet. Do you want to tell them?"
  8. "I don't know," said Constellationkit...her stomach area really hurt. She couldn't help but start to cry.
  9. Mistykit curled into a ball like she had in the nightmare, shivering and alone.
  10. Name: Rata Gender: Male (he/him) Personality: Doesn't like commitments, has had bad experiances with love but gets into relationships anyways, it's like he's searching for acceptance in it...or maybe he's just a playboy. Is looked down upon by much of the tribe. He only finds joy and worth in fighting. He'll jump into any battle to defend the tribe. He's gained a measure of respect this way. His first instinct is to fight until either he or the creature he's fighting is dead, but he's learned over the years to retreat whenever the tribe is safe again and he's done some damage. Has fogught even defender bears. Isn't too afraid of dying, but he's afraid of not having lived and not being accepted. Pic: Extra: Was an orphan. His parents had no respect in the tribe, and many say it was their own fault they dided so young. The tribe continued to raise him out of pity. Growing up he looked for acceptance in a relationship, which led to his first few romances and first mate. They broke up, not even having had children. It was generally thought to be his fault. The tribe began to look on him as a liability after that, and his mate was treated better than him and remarried. Then the tribe was attacked by ram foxes, and they cornered Rata. He fought back, and killed one all by himself. Then another tribe member came to help him, and they killed the rest of the 6. This tribe member was his second mate. This relationship lasted the longest of all his. They defended the tribe together. They had one child, a son. Then one day, his mate died in a balance bear attack. He never forgave himself, but found worth in raising their son to adult-hood. A while later, Rata tried again. His son was angry at him for doing so. And after a while of no children and getting push-back from his son and the tribe, the relationship fell apart. His mate died soon after. Rata again couldn't forgive himself, and so he decided to leave the island on the expedition. His son has taken his place as defender of the tribe, so there wasn't much reason to stay. And he is running away from his past, looking for a new future, and exceptance in the tribe again. Is up there in age, has probably lived 75% of his life at this point.
  11. Name: Prisidon Gender: Male (he/him) Personality: Is quite responsible. Eldest son of Kirdon, only son of his first mate Prisada Wants to continue on his father's name and mother's line. Is very protective (and a bit controlling) of his siblings. Wants to make sure they are all safe, and can continue on their father's legacy as well. Really loves them and wants the best for them. Is respectful of tribe norms and traditions. Will generally obey the orders of those with more experiance and in authority, though if he thinks they're wrong he's not afraid to make his voice herd. Doesn't trust Meadow (mainly because of her personality but there might be some family rivalry there as well), or Rata, (he's broken up with a couple mates before their deaths, doesn't settle down, and is an orphan with no real family line, whose parents were not respected by the tribe). Though thinks they could be good fighters and defenders of the tribe anyways, if carefully watched. Pic: Extra: Has a mate back on the tribe's island. Neither of them knew but at the time he left they were expecting his first child. He didn't want to leave her behind to go and do this mission, but she encouraged him to go because she knew it was important for him to protect his siblings and he would never forgive himself if he let them go alone and they died. He didn't want her to come in case it was dangerous, because again he couldn't forgive himself if he brought her along and she died. So he went along with his siblings, and she stayed behind.
  12. I agree with others here that variety is key. In my niche world I generally haver distinct family lines; though they often mix when it comes time to choose mates and that's how I keep from sick nichelings....although it's also why I have like 10 different gem combinations to represent them now instead of just the base color lines (red, blue, yellow, pink, green doesn't count....even though I now have a green line). Anyways, my point is, each family line generally takes on a specific look, especially those that inbreed which tends to happen alot but don't worry I make sure the immunity genes are compatable, sometimes the look changes with each breeding pair, sometimes it stays the same for a long time. Pink line creatures are known for purr snout, yellow line also has some purr snout in their genes (and I'm pretty saure they're also the only place big nose is still alive) but not as much, so not as many purr snouts end up being born. Any red line generally has poison fangs (though they're also the only line with bird beak), and green line is known for cracker jaw because I'm pretty sure the wanderer that started the line was the only one who had it in their genes and green line's last breeding pair were ssiblings. As for fur color, I don't generally pay much attention, I just let it be what it's going to be and every once in a while I note a nicheling that looks pretty in my opinion. Pink and red lines have alot of red fur, it was luck of the draw I think I got it from Eve. I've grown used to it, it doesn't look too bad with purr snout and pink or red colored gems. Though my first baby in storymode ever had a mix of red-black fur (and black eyes pretty sure) and he looked to me like a demon....I don't think that's repeated since, but that's my biggest taboo of red fur and I don't want to repeat it. I don't pay ANY attention to eye color, I don't know why. Don't seem to in real life either. I have to really look at eyes before I see their color and note where I like it or not. I like blue eyes, but green ones I think are my favorite. Anything but black is good in my opinion, though I don't usually notice and I think black eyes are good on psychopaths and some color combinations. As for patterns, I like spots, cause I think alot more spotted nicheling are pretty, don't ask me why, I don't know....yet anyways. Also I like to keep stripes in the family because they are Adam's original pattern, I do have creatures with stripes but most too thin to see it, so when I see a creature with stripes I can really see or effect the parrtern in some cool way I love it. No-pattern nichelings can be pretty if the right color. But I love all my nichelings anyways, and those with the most dynamic story are those I love most.
  13. If it's a story that's based off of actual experiances in the game (maybe as you go) or is linked to a playthrough you're currently doing or going to do it could be put in playthroughs. If it's just a story and not really based off experiances in the game, or it is and it's just a one-off and you won't be doing a playthrough or writing more stories about the same world, it should be fine in this section. Even if any of the above things are true, it could not really belong in playthroughs anyways, and anything niche that doesn't really fit into other categories can go in this section. So the safest bet is to post here.
  14. (Will I be able to interact with others in the sim in this?)
  15. Dove started off in that direction, she walked at a normal pace, not wanting to go too slow or too fast.
  16. Mistykit mewed at her mother as she left, "Momma! Come back! Don't leave!" Mistykit hated being alone, and she was quite attatched to her mother who had made the loneliness go away.
  17. Constellationkit instinctively jumped, but failed at it an ended up sprawled on their stomach, legs out in every which direction. Her stomach and chest hurt, "ouch!" she said. The world was a bit dizzy.
  18. Razoris! *bunixa levana* ((We must add gets I believe, how about ean-buni, eanbuni, or bunixa?))
  19. (IDK, I'm unsure about the whole cats standing on two legs thing, also I am in alot of roleplays atm. I don't really know why that bothers me since I like all sorts of stories with personified animals. Also what is limbo? I may join though...I shall think about it)
  20. (I don't know if I'll join, I'm in an awful lot of rps rn lol. I think I like this concept though)
  21. Mistykit basked in her mother's affection, purring and laying there, relaxed.
  22. Constellationkit giggled too, batting the kit's ears.
