  1. Just for clarification: the sumo tournament is already seperated from the campaign. Each player has only 1 drone inside the tournament pool. (The one with the most wins) This drone is only added if the player wins a match in the sumo tournament. But I agree that having different weightclasses and a better matchmaking would make it more interesting.
  2. What about adding a new tracker part that sticks to the terrain, can be activated / deactivated and displays a customizable dot on the minimap while active? We could also use it as target for the directional sensor 🤔
  3. Seems like the false positives with the distance sensor is not yet working correctly. We will fix it next time. We pushed a small hotfix today with two fixes: - You could break the relic mission by freezing the torches, this should no longer happen - Fixed Bug where exploding parts using TnT did left some artefacts
  4. Ok I can reproduce it. If the TNT is the parent, the childs don't seem to be cleaned up properly. Does work fine if the TnT is no parent.
  5. We added 2 new missions to have more alternatives to the bio barrell one. We will constantly improve this and add more interesting and challenging missions.
  6. We did some improvement in 0.5.9 related to this. The 1-Win drones will no longer show up, this will result in more difficult fights.

  8. Hey crew, We just released the update 0.5.9 for Nimbatus. We have read through alot of feedback since the release and addressed some of the problems with this patch. Thank you very much for reporting bugs and posting feedback! New Features: Added 2 new jungle missions (you will have the choice to reset the map or continue with the previous one) Added a popup to draw attention to our tutorial (can be skipped) Added zoom using the mousewheel to the test area and the planets Added new Delay gate Added speed setting for motorized hinges Added full and empty events to resource tanks Added a setting for the start state of the factory part (Printed / Not Printed) Reworks: If the loading of a savegame does not work, we now show the error on screen instead of automatically resetting the progress. If you encounter any errors, please post us a screenshot, restart the game and try again. Changed the galaxy map, so you will encounter lava planets earlier. Bugfixes: Fixed that Camera Trackers still were displayed on the minimap after being destroyed Fixed that Sumo drones were not correctly added to the opponent pool anymore Fixed that Batteries or Fuel Tanks still provided energy after being decoupled. The new start state setting of the factory part was the most upvoted suggestion in our forum, this is why we have added it to the game! Please keep upvoting ideas for new droneparts and features! The difficulty of the planetary missions was not really well balanced, it was too hard for beginners and too easy for advanced players. The starting galaxy should now be a bit easier. We will improve this in the future to make it more challenging and fun to play We will now start working on our first big update which will be all about Drone Racing.   9. We have planned more modes like this The ones that are already planned are: Drone vs. drone race and combat arenas.
  10. I'm currently looking at all the factory bugs and fix them. It seems to work if the containe is directly attached to the factory part. If one part is inbetween it does not work. If the part thats inbetween is a decoupler, it shows different problems. Will be fixed soon
  11. There are alot of unfinishe features lying around that just wait to be resurrected again We will for sure add some of the things we had in earlier demos. Like the battle arena with a highscore list, just less buggy and better balanced
  12. Does not look like my code. Are you sure this is from Nimbatus? Maybe it's a plugin we use or something from unity
  13. You are allowed to create mods. Unfortunately we don't offer modding tools yet, so the only way is to do it is to decompile and recompile our code. So it's a bit difficult to add new parts or textures. @OmegaRogue created some mods before, maybe he can help you. I suggest to chat him up here or on our discord I only request that you don't mess with the steam leaderboard entries for drone sumo, as this would be unfair to other players and we don't allow it.   14. Just the number of wins of your last tournament together with the drone. I was thinking of using a seperate leaderboard where only drones with 10 wins enter automatically and everyone can try to battle them.
  15. The leaderboard is pretty simple, it's just the score you get (amount of wins) that's why we don't show it. The main problem thats blocking us from switching to some better rating system is that Steam leaderboards don't allow to edit entries of other users. As the multiplayer is not real-time we can only change the score for your own drone and not the score of the opponent.

  17. Can you report the steam names to me via PM if you see one thats out of line for now? A report feature would be a good idea, but It's not implemented quickly.
  18. Drones with at least 1 point (1 win) get into the tournament pool. So this poor empty drone brain was just lucky in the first fight. The drones that are placed in the ring are randomly taken from the leaderboard according to the difficulty level of the arena: 1 Δ = lowest 20% 2 Δ = 20%-80% 3 Δ = Top 20% Weight classes are a good idea. I'm also thinking of adding a higher difficulty pool where only drones with 10 wins can enter.
  19. Hmm strange problem. Could not reproduce it here anymore with the newest build. Another thing you could try is to force the game into windowed mode. To do that add the following string to the launch options in Steam: (Rightclick on the game in the library -> properties -> Set launch options) -screen-fullscreen 0 -screen-height 1080 -screen-width 1920
  20. Docking is something I'd like to do sometime. This would come with the benefit of fuel, energy and resource exchange. I'm not sure if magnets are the right tool for that.
