You need to select 3 different drones to start the sumo tournament. Before each match you see the opponent drone and now you have to choose with which drone you want to fight it. The goal is to survive as long as possible with your "deck" of drones.

Could not reproduce this. Most likely a part got wrecked Logic part connections are not affected by distance or time. They can only break when a part gets destroyed or by a logic splitter.

Really weird bug. Could not reproduce it here, your savefile and drone works fine. I'll have to test this with an Ubuntu later.

Hmm could not reproduce this bug. When I change a weapon type or tech it's always updated in the drone afterwards.

For windows the saves are here: C:\Users\[Username]\AppData\LocalLow\Team Niche\Niche - a genetics survival game\Saves replace [Username] with your username It's a hidden folder, so you have to enable to view hidden files like this:

Wow very cool mockup! We'd like to redesign the drone selection screen as soon as we add drone sharing with the steam workshop, because then you will most likely have a ton more drones from different players. We plan to add the drone sharing during the alpha So keep the ideas coming

Make sure the steam overlay is working after starting the game. Press Shift - Tab to show it. If it does not show up, you are not correctly connected to steam and the achievements wont work. If this works, you just have to send adam to a deep swim on the first island

Ok this is really weird. I'll try to reproduce it and see what causes this.

Hey Welcome I moved the topic to Niche Bugs. Do you have the game on Steam? If so, you dont have to buy it again! It should get updated automatically. Make sure you have opted out of any Beta Branches to get the newest updates. You can do this by rightclicking Niche in the Steam Library and go to Properties / Betas like in the screenshot below and select NONE from the dropdown. Afterwards restart Steam and it should download the update automatically. Also it might help to know your computer specs. Could you please copy / paste me your system specifications? You can find them in Steam by clicking on Help -> Systeminformation. Cheers, Micha

A leaderboard of who has won the tournament how many times would be a nice addition. Independent of the drone used.

Hey Yes this is why we said the estimated delivery date is March 2019 on the Rewards. These things take some time, because we need to prepare surveys for each reward and collect the information we need such as the name you like to appear in the credits. We will continue to develop the features we promised in the Kickstarter campaign such as naming planets, the credit mention, digital wallpapers, and so on. We plan to have everything ready for the full release of the game! Sorry if we did not communicate this clear enough! Currently we'd like to focus on developing the core mechanics of the game, so we are ready for early access!

I agree, the text input is really rudimentary and could be improved alot!

Currently the snake is roaming around randomly and circles the planet. I agree, it would make sense to make it a bit more aggressive towards the drone.

Good Idea, I think the shields are a bit too strong at the moment.

In the closed Alpha we have added a Sumo Tournament. Here is how the Sumo Tournament works: Visit the Sumo Arena location You enter the tournament with one fully autonomous drone Your drone fights against drones that other players entered the tournament. The score you get is the number of consecutive wins You cannot change or edit the drone between fights Internally we use a highscore list to save your drone and the number of wins. You get placed in this list as soon as you finish the tournament or get beaten. We then use this list to find matching opponents for your drone depending on your score. Also the best Sumo Drones are also placed into the Sumo Rings all across the galaxy and all other players will have to defeat them! We would love to hear your feedback about this! Do you like this kind of tournament? Do you have ideas to make it better? Let us know!

This should no longer be an issue, because we don't have motherhives anymore. However if we add them again, they will work correctly
