Actually, this would be a good idea to deter you from inbreeding, like with sickly nichelings! So, instead of a deformed paw, you could get like the model of a deformed paw and deactivate the paw gene, like you do with the inactive ones. So you'd still retain the actual gene? Idk, just thoughts.

Maybe a status effect called crippled would give you like -1 to -3 speed, depending on how bad the damage you took was. The type of predator could also factor into this! Cool idea! Take an upvote child!

Good idea, but what if it lasted longer? Just 7 turns seems too.. sad? If you have a big pack, you're just wasting a bunch of nesting material to keep it up for a baby to be in or something. Maybe it takes 10 nesting material and lasts for two days, before it begins to crumble after five turns on the third day, making an alert like, "A burrow is collasping!" and after 3 more turns it fully collaspes. And if you don't have a big pack, it just immediately collaspes on the end of the 3rd day. Edit: Oof they changed it Okay xD

For a second I thought this was accidentally put here by a Nimbatus person.. (Btw I have no clue what the Nimbatus game is...) But, I like the burrowing idea, but the rest is unrealistic for niche I believe.

You add pictures by... 1) Right click the image you want to add, and click copy image. Then you press ctrl and v at the same time. 2) Selecting the image on wahetever drawing tool you have with a select tool and pressing ctrl and c at the same time or selecting copy image, then press ctrl and v at the same time. I would like this. Like, it's a rare mutation like albinism or melanism, as Fishy said. It'd be cool! But it has flaws. If you get two nicheling with bits in their eyes, what gets transmuted to the child if they breed? Example: A has blue eyes with brown bits B has green eyes with yellow bits Do we then take the dominant eye color and the dominant bits? Or no bits?

They do have tails. Really, really big fluffy frikin tails that I LOVE! Maybe it could have a large fluffy tail, a small balance bear tail basically, and it gives +2 cold res because its so frickin fluffy. Edit: Here's a big floofy balance bear tail. It may not seem big on it but it's the size of an adult nicheling if it standing up straight, or I imagine so.

This would be huge. It sounds so deadly. But so fun. But what happens if preds wander everywhere? Rere: Oh hey Kuro remember that balance bear we saw when we were kids? Kuro: Yeah but we moved from the mountains to the savannah. Rere: I guess it followed us. Kuro: Crap.

I love it! I found a recent challenge for mating that requires a lot of stumps, but I can't find the dumb things in a good island cuz they only spawn on hard or medium islands. :c So this would fix all my freaking problems! I'd love this! I want this.

I love the idea! But, here's a problem this idea faces. How would you cool down your nicheling? If its a heatstroke, you need to be cool, but how could you do that? Would you breathe on them like a fan? Would you have to implement some sort of carrying feature, to carry them to water or under a savannah tree? Or here's a possible idea: I think sometimes, don't specifically remember, but doesn't it sometimes rain in savannahs? If it does, here's an idea. Reviving rain. Any nicheling suffering from heatstroke will be revived from it after a rain, giving them 1 energy to get somewhere. Or, a nicheling that isn't under some form of protection will get wet, an effect that lasts for a 1-3 days. While this effect is active, the nichelings with it can go to a nicheling with heatstroke and cool them with the water or just shake it off themselves.

I love how you keep putting out these suggestions! But, they need a little more time and thought. Maybe some descriptions too. Don't get me wrong, I like all the new ideas, but without more.. like.. uhhh... Descriptions of what it is, what it will look like, people don't know what you're thinking. Like, how would wolf fangs be different from poison fangs or saber tooth fangs? And how would the tail look? If you want upvotes, your ideas need more depth to them. But feel free to keep putting them! We learn as we go on!

Here's my idea: We can have like, a settings in the family tree! It can show the generations, like you can have a button in the family tree that enables you to look at past generations! I tried to edit a thing, so here's how it looks in my mind: So, you can see the generations button down there. If you want to see your first, you click 1st and would get this! Holy crap I just spent so long editing this hhhhhhhhhhhhh. But this is a way I think you could get an endless generational tree! (I got a bit lazy with the last one, as you see the names are all the same.. but deal with it... I cant edit all those lines ahhhhhhhh)

I think what they mean is this: Nicheling A has a bearyena claw, and snout. A finds an aggressive bearyena and is allowed to breed with it, god only knows why, and it makes more hybrid parts? I assume this is what they mean.

It could! Maybe it could give +1 stealth, as it is tiny and wouldn't allow a nicheling to brush their tail against the grasses by accident. That'd be cool. And I'd just love to see a lil' stub tail on my nichelings ❤️

Okay, this is a half made idea, but we can expand on it. Here's my suggestions: Mouse Snout Further smelling, like, 3. Mole holes themselves are lit up even when a mole is not present, and are a different color. Roots are also a different color from just green. Unlockable by either: 1) Digging 100 times. 2) Killing 50 moles. 3) Digging 50 times and killing 50 moles. Hope this can help you expand! Also, a mouse snout would be so cute! I hope we can take this idea to new heights!
