Babies inherit gem colors

I recently tried using gem colors to keep track of breeding groups, but it got really tedious that I had to change the gem color of all the babies and I began to lose track. Maybe if both parents have the same gem color, then the baby will too? Another idea is a 50% chance of either parents' gem colors if they're different.

That is a good idea, sometimes you forget to change their gem colours and sometimes you quit half way through, it's a rainbow mess!

That really would be great, especially when trying to play with blind genes and can't change names.

Maybe with 4th gemstone like in the beta-phase. just that that stone represents the family alone and NOT the moves
