Dear Drone Engineers, We just released a preview build of the 1.1 update for Nimbatus. It would be awesome if you could test this build and report any bugs you can find! We looked over all suggestions posted here https://strayfawnstudio.com/community/index.php?/forum/96-11-update-feature-requests/ and picked the features that have the most upvotes and match the time scope and theme of this update the best. The two new drone parts: wheels and grappling hook, need to be tested in the brawl / race and sumo mode so we can decide if we can allow those parts or if we have to ban them for the competitive modes. For that we've created a separate drone pool for this preview version. So please play the competitive modes using the new parts and give us your feedback! Patchnotes 1.1.0 New Features Drone Part Multiselection: Press Ctrl and click on multiple drone parts or press CTRL and drag a rectangle to select multiple parts. If the parts are of the same type you can edit them all at once. Drone Part Templates: You can create templates of drone parts, store them and use them when building different drones. Good points! I'll make sure to think about these, especially the point that she hasn't been around other nichelings before! The quest is a cool idea! (Maybe he came from the heat island Blujay saw the bluebirds heading toward? More plot!!!) The food tho ;-; I do need to gather more. (Thanks to both of you for the suggestions!)

The new wanderer seems to be super old, and also has lean body and big ears. Maybe he's from the savannah or some other hot island, but somehow landed here. Maybe he could give Bluejay a goal of some kind, like telling her to find his home island, or something more interesting. Also, the food is getting a bit low...

Is there a reason the wanderer is all alone? If so, is it important? Bluejay has never really been around any other nichelings until now so would this make her different then if she had? Is she happy to see this stranger or not? idk just some questions that may help jump start the process. Hope it helps!

She woke up the next day, feeling refreshed and ready to start adventuring. She gathered a little bit more, and set out (but with a nap in between, of course.) As she ventured farther out, she heard a strange growling noise. She didn't know why, but something in her told her to hide. She made sure to check if it was near her. She couldn't find anything dangerous, but was happy to find another one of the yummy things in the ground! It was always a good day when you could thwart your enemy's plans! (And, if they are delicious, eat them.) Then, when she was exploring the next day, she found something.... strange. It looked like on of the tall things the color of the grass... but it was shorter. Suddenly, she felt something inside of her telling her to go on it. What was it with the thing inside of her always bossing her around! But still..... She felt herself climbing up it even though her mind was yelling in protest. And... then she was on top of it. She felt so free. It was like she was in the sky... like she was on top of the world... She loved it. She could feel the thing inside of her pushing to take control, to get out. And when it did, she let out the loudest, most free sound she had ever heard. She took a moment to be awestruck at how amazing it felt to call like that.... like she was free. She settled in for a nap, feeling at peace with herself for once. The next day, and she woke up, she let out another call, feeling so excited for a new day. But suddenly.. something popped out of the grass. (I hope you guys enjoyed the update!) (PS. I am in need of plot ideas. If you have any, feeling free to comment down below!)

"You know...." Rain opened her eyes, glancing over at Peril, who was at next to her, watching Ukii and Ityup play on the shore. "You should really get a mate, Rain." That woke her up. Rain bolted upright, shaking the sleepiness from her head. "A...mate?" She blinked, and immediately thoughts of pink-grey fur and black eyes filled her head. "Yeah, a mate." Peril said again, as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. "No nicheling is complete without a mate in their life, what, were you planning to just stay single?" "Well, I mean..." Rain was at a loss for words-so what? Why did it matter if she didn't want a mate? That wasn't Peril's business. "Anyway, I think Okerian would be a great mate." Rain froze, trying to process if she heard Peril right. "O....Okerian?" Peril scoffed. "Yeah, that's like, what I said? Anyway, it's not like there's any other quality males in the tribe. He's strong and he's handsome, what more could you want?" "Well..." Rain took a deep breath, leaning her paw over the ridge she lay on, and ran it through the sand on the shore below. "What...what about a female?" Peril stared at her as if she had grown a second head. "You...have to be joking, right? A female? Oh please, that's ridiculous. What about when you want to have children? What then?" "I-" "No, shut up. That joke wasn't funny. That was sick. Now, never say that again, and go get with Okerian."

"Catch!" "Ow!" Clyk recoiled, watching as Meirei rubbed the spot on her head where the acorn hit her. "Sorry!" Meirei just shot him a glare, picking up the fallen acorn and cracking it open. Aymi sat a few feet away, occasionally glancing at the two. She was stuck watching them after Feather went hunting and Pidge made another excuse to not pay attention to her own daughter. Those two were more trouble than she could handle at times. Suddenly, she caught the scent of something familiar. Someone familiar. Aymi looked up, watching as Feather trotted back over to the tree, a rabbil hanging limply from his jaws. "Dad!" Clyk called out happily, dropping the nut he was holding and bounding over to his father, almost knocking Feather's legs out from beneath him with his heavy tail. "Woah! Calm down!" Feather replied, voice muffled. He dropped the rabbil, leaning down to bump his head against his son's affectionately. "I wasn't gone that long." The two walked back towards Aymi, Clyk rambling about how hard he could whack the tree with his tail. "Thanks for watching him, Aymi." Feather smiled, sighing when he noticed just how tired the female looked. "No problem, it's not your fault he's obnoxious." "H-hey, Feather?" Feather looked down, smiling at Meirei as she shyly looked up at him. "H-have you seen my mom?" Feather sighed, ruffling the fur on her head with one paw. "Sorry kid, I haven't. I'll tell her to come see you if I do, okay?" Meirei simply nodded, trudging back over to Clyk.

Oh yeah I haven't shown these two yet Their names are Quaren and Lazi, they're royal class gem moths. Quaren is the queen, the most massive gem moth ever known. She's quite snobby actually. Lazi is the hunts chief and they're tired of Quaren
