  2. My classmate just jumped through the (open) window to enter the classroom. Kids do it all the time, so the teacher didn’t get too angry. He just got told to re enter properly.

  5. Yea the clan is tiny (Curse my habit of only having my nichelings have 1-2 kits to avoid coming up with characterization for a bunch of characters-) but I do have an idea of how to help ensure the clans survival hopefully!

  11. Blossompaw trudged toward camp, trying her best to delay the inevitable of having to choose what she would do. Would she lie and live with the guilt for the rest of her life living a lie? Or would she come clean and ruin the life she had built and risk being chased out? Neither option seemed appealing to her if she was honest with herself. Eventually she made her way to the edge of camp. The usual hustle and bustle would usually energize her and bring her spirits high but at the moment it brought her nothing but anxiety. Would they stare at her with disgust and disdain after learning she had blood on her paws? After taking a breath she strutted into camp with an attempt to exude her usual confidence but considering that every nicheling in the clan knew her well she could feel the stares on her pelt. She felt unease prickle across her pelt as her mom made her way over with Sandwing following behind. “What’s wrong?” CanaryStar asked as she immediately noticed the odd demeanor her kit was having. “And where’s your mentor?” Sandwing added but despite looking at him Blossompaw’s attention was fully focused on the fact she could hear two sets of pawsteps coming over before noticing that both Mossbeetle and Crowpaw seemed to have come to check on her as well. Usually it would warm her heart but at the moment the last thing she wanted was more nichelings around as it made her feel crowded as her mind scrambled for an explanation or cover-up. “I swear if he just left you by yourself” Mossbeetle’s annoyed grumbles reached Blossompaw’s ears despite the fact that most noise felt far away and fuzzy at the moment. “Blossompaw are you o-” Blossompaw interrupted Sandwing’s words with burst of words. “I KILLED HIM!” The words burst out of her without prompting or time to think as the guilt wrapped around her chest like a tangled patch of thorns. Silence reigned over the surrounding nichelings for enough time to make Blossompaw consider fleeing before Twigstrike spoke. “No, NO!” The words made Blossompaw shrink on herself at seeing the nicheling she considered an older brother look at her with complete disbelief. “You…you wouldn’t do that” Twigstrike said as the other nichelings started reacting to her confession. “No…” Was all CanaryStar said as she looked at Blossompaw. There’s no way her kit would have paws stained with blood right? There had to be a reason or purpose, her kit wouldn’t attack her own clanmate for no reason or for fun. CanaryStar looked at her kit begging for an explanation. “I didn’t mean to!” Blossompaw yelled before anyone else could speak, wanting a chance to explain the situation. It seemed to work as every nichelings expectant stare fell on her with more weight than she ever wanted to bear. “He attacked me first” She said causing some shock to spread through the crowd, Tigerthorn was cold but he didn’t come across as the type to attack his own apprentice. “And it was only because he accidentally let it slip that he was the one who killed Daisyfall” Blossompaw finished explaining causing even more shock at the idea. Daisyfall’s death was never figured out despite many attempts to find the cause. “You’re not lying to cover yourself?” Mossbeetle asked making CanaryStar scowl at the idea of Mossbeetle accusing her daughter of that. Blossompaw aggressively shook her head and Mossbeetle somewhat relaxed with a nod. “If what you say is true than it would be self-defense” CanaryStar reasoned and none of the nichelings disagreed though it was obvious the actions had somewhat changed their view of Blossompaw. “But” The word crushed any hope Blossompaw had as she heard her mom speak. “I can’t let you off without punishment, so as your punishment you will not be getting your warrior name next sunrise like you were going to, and you’ll always have to be watched by someone” CanaryStar spoke with a stern tone and Blossompaw was devastated but didn’t say a peep as she knew that was nothing for what she did. So she just nodded in response. Blossompaw cautiously lifted her gaze towards Crowpaw as she had been silent the entire time. Crowpaw stared back at the other apprentice before her face shifted to one of discomfort, breaking eye contact and looking off to the side. Blossompaw felt pain crush her a little more at the reaction from the nicheling she was closest to. “Come with me” Mossbeetle’s words made Blossompaw look at him with confusion. “Your wound will get infected” Mossbeetle said as he turned around and started walking towards the medicine den. As if to remind her the bite-mark on her shoulder let out a pulse of pain that made her slightly wince before following after her uncle. The next sunrise the clan was gathered for Crowpaw’s naming ceremony. Unfortunately, the usually cheerful occasion was blanketed with an air of unease after the events that had just occurred. Crowpaw wanted to be excited for this event but she couldn’t muster the happiness as she looked to her side which was only occupied by air. The spot was supposed to be taken by Blossompaw as the two got their warrior names at the same time like they’d been planning for moons but now Crowpaw was getting her name alone and it felt wrong. CanaryStar didn’t comment on the lack of energy Crowpaw held as she stepped in front of her clanmates. “This apprentice has trained hard in learning the ways of a warrior so I call upon StarClan to give this apprentice her warrior name” The leader began as she looked over the crowd of nichelings that were gathered for the event, trying to ignore the small size of the clan. “By the power of StarClan I give you your warrior name, from now on you will be known as Crowshade for your hunting capabilities” CanaryStar closed up the ceremony with those words causing the clan nichelings to cheer. Well try to cheer anyway. Of all the nichelings the loudest was both surprising and not as Crowpaw- no Crowshade, looked over and saw Blossompaw who gave her a smile filled with both pride and sadness. Crowshade couldn’t bare to look and instead turned her gaze towards her mentor who gave her a sunny smile though it was slightly strained from both stress and the age that had become more obvious with each sunrise. She looked away again and instead focused on CanaryStar until the meeting was over. The lack of a greeting from Sandwing had definitely confused CanaryStar as her deputy had made a habit of greeting her every sunrise, after Mossbeetle of course, so she was a bit confused but brushed it off as getting carried away talking to Mossbeetle but when Twigstrike told her that he hadn’t sent him on a hunting patrol she become concerned. “Hey Mossbeetle have you- oh” CanaryStar’s words froze in her throat as she saw her brother blanking staring at Sandwing, who wasn’t breathing or showing a single sign of life. “Is he…?” CanaryStar tentatively asked not wanting to assume the worst and hoping she was wrong. “He’s gone” Mossbeetle’s words would come across as cold or uncaring to many but CanaryStar’s ears flattened upon hearing her brother’s statement. She slowly approached Sandwing and looked at him as if hoping he would suddenly crack open an eye and ask what’s wrong. She couldn’t help but feel disappointed when he was as still as he had been since she walked into the medicine den. “I’m so sorry” CanaryStar’s whisper felt like it would echo in the complete silence of the den. “You can’t stop age…unfortunately” Mossbeetle said with a waver in his tone that made CanaryStar look over at her brother’s face. She was saddened as she saw tears gathering in his eyes along with the fact he was obviously trying to hold them back. CanaryStar just scooted closer so their shoulders were touching and that small action seemed to break the dam as Mossbeetle let out a sob. He then turned his head and buried his snout into his sister’s shoulder as he continued to sob with tears soaking CanaryStar’s shoulder. But she didn’t mind and wrapped her tail around him to let him know that she was here for him, only being able to imagine the pain he was in. Mossbeetle felt like it wasn’t fair. He had only recently gotten to be mates with Sandwing and now StarClan had taken him away. This only further proved to him that he was right in blocking out StarClan’s attempts to give him visions, they only ever hurt nichelings and made stupid rules that did nothing good. Gloominess clung to the nicheling’s like mud as CanaryStar sluggishly clambered onto the rock to make the inevitable announcement. It obviously didn’t take long for everyone to hear of Sandwing’s passing and there was no nicheling who wasn’t sad considering the size of the clan and Sandwing’s sunny personality. But CanaryStar couldn’t delay it. “As we all know Sandwing has sadly passed, old age comes for all at some point and it was his time” CanaryStar started as she looked over the gathered nichelings. “But the clan must choose a new deputy to ensure the clan’s future isn’t one of chaos and confusion” She continued making most of the nichelings nod in agreement, except for Mossbeetle who wasn’t entirely there despite the fact he had come for the meeting. “I say this before the spirit of Sandwing so he can approve of my choice, Twigstrike will be the new deputy of WildClan” CanaryStar said causing Blossompaw and Crowshade to cheer for Twigstrike even if their hearts weren’t entirely in it. Twigstrike knew this was coming but it still felt unexpected as he stood in front of his clanmates, could this even be considered a clan anymore? There were five of them and two were old enough that they could die without warning just like Sandwing had. Twigstrike pushed the thought out of his mind and tried to focus on the present. Noticing the nod Crowshade gave as Blossompaw beamed at him for being chosen. “Meeting dismissed” CanaryStar said before getting ready to jump off the rock but her paw slipped and she tumbled onto the ground causing two gasps of shock from Crowshade and Blossompaw. Mossbeetle seemed to snap out of his stupor a bit as he rushed to his sister’s side to check on her. “I’m fine, I just slipped” CanaryStar said as she stood to her paws. “Take a rest at least” CanaryStar considered protesting but seeing the open worry of her brother’s face gave her pause as she realized that he was probably concerned after losing Sandwing. “Fine” CanaryStar said making Mossbeetle relax as he led her to the medicine den to rest. The other nichelings watched before turning toward each other. They quickly dispersed into two groups, Blossompaw would be watched by Twigstrike while Crowshade went off by herself. The three had been close but now being near each other felt suffocating and awkward.
