  1. You can do that! Just, don't spam the forums with them... Please?
  2. No, they're referring to the first two images. They only show up as links and when you click on them, it shows nothing. That's all that shows up. Perhaps you could edit the topic and copy + paste the images that were there?
  3. This girl right here is my spirit animal. I was on a computer at a Boys and Girls club. Did you expect amazing quality?
  4. Yeah, I knew it was possible to get panda pattern again, but back in 0.1.5. panda pattern was its own gene. Thanks, though!
  5. To me, it didn't matter if a creature was the strongest or the fastest (Now I see why I'm so bad at Niche,) but the most important thing to me was whether or not a creature looked cute. Bam. Perfect creature. I even still remember my panda army from 0.1.5., because we all know panda pattern was the superior gene to every other gene. Actually, panda pattern was just a cosmetic gene, and I'm pretty sure it had no effect on a creature's survival... But ever since they removed exterminated all pandas from existence after 0.5.0., I started to look for "cute" genes again. Then, I discovered how adorable big ears were. So, big ears quickly became the new panda pattern for me. Bam. New perfect creature. Then I discovered how cute melanism was with black eyes. Combine this with big ears now. Bam. Newer perfect creature. That's my perfect creature right there. What do you guys consider to be perfect creatures?
  6. I've liked lean body since 0.1.5.-ish(?) because a cute critter named Kuro that also had big ears waltzed in with lean body. I thought that big ears + lean body was such a cute combination, so I bred the heck out of that guy. Keep ripping in heaven Kuro You're an angel now
  7. According to my quick Google search research, I came to the conclusion that Jotaro is an anime character.
  8. So what you're saying is: Also uh thanks for linking my suggestion
  9. I consider "Forever Night" a game-breaking bug, because from what I hear, nothing ever spawns (because the game considers it to be a time of the day when nothing should spawn)
  10. Here are a few more of the bugs just for convenience! (Some of these will actually break your game:) Edit: Some of these may have been fixed. Glitch One- Age Faster How to Preform: Do a buttload of console commands on one creature. Like, a lot. If you're successful, your creature should have aged way faster. (I've even gotten to the point where the creature died the next day...) Solution: After you're done editing the genes of your creature, use the console command "increaseage [negative value]". There is a separate bug for that, though. Glitch Two- Big Head How to Preform: Edit any of the creature's genes apart from snout or eye genes. Your creature's heads should be much larger now. Solution: ??? Glitch Three- Tiny Head How to Preform: On the day a creature is born, edit their eye genes. Their head should be (amusingly) smaller now. Solution: End the day and the head will return to normal size the next day. Glitch Four- Forever Night How to Preform: It only happens on random, possibly after you have made a ton of commands. Effects: It'll be a certain time of day (apart from daytime) forever and nothing will spawn. Also, days won't add up, and it won't appear on the sun icon. Solution: ??? (Thanks to my friend Ollie-Mint for the screenshot) Glitch Five- Reverse Aging How to Preform: Decrease a creature's age to the point where their age is a number smaller than zero. Then exit the game and come back to that save. Effects: Your creature is now permanently looking down. And, since the game registers them as a child, they are now prone to blue-bird attacks. Solution: Age them up again by using the console using the command "increaseage [positive value]". Glitch Six- "I can't see!" How to Preform: When you edit a creature's genes, and they run out of turns, their eyes will close but you can still move their head. Solution: Exit the game and come back. Glitch Seven- Multiple Identity Disorder How to Preform: Edit any creature's genes, and their pictures in the UI and Family Tree will be what they originally were. Solution: ??? Edit: WAIT!!! I found another glitch! I totally forgot about it. Introducing, Glitch Eight- "That'sa strange child..." How to Preform: Pull up the console and use the command "AddStatusEffect pregnant" to any creature. Doesn't matter which gender or what age, just impregnate them using the console. Then move said creature to a nest, end the day, and voila, hell has arrived at your doorstep. Effects: Sometimes, these guys will destroy your save. No, seriously. Sometimes if you spawn in a bunch of them, the save file will disappear after you exit the game. Solution: There is no known solution. These guys just stick around for a long time. Sorry, Jimmy. (Thanks to Wiki contributor Gemthedragon and my Steam friend Echotuft for these! The one on the left is the newest version of these demonic headless creatures.) Sorry for the wall of text, and I'm sure there's more bugs I haven't discovered yet!
  11. I agree that Niche is a little overpriced for what it delivers (a lot of games over $20 would break my budget,) but it's called Niche: a Genetics Survival Game and not Niche: a Spore-Knockoff just with Cuter Graphics and Nutrition Survival Game for a preeetty good reason...
  12. Polls don’t allow more than three questions, sorry mate
  13. GIVE ME I NEED IT IT'S SO TINY AND ADORABLE HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
  14. I got very bored, so I made this. If you don't know which island is which, check out the Niche Wiki: http://niche.wikia.com/wiki/Travel
  15. Really? I can never tell the difference. Thanks
  16. I made this, like, a year ago on a camping trip. I was meaning to post it on Steam when I got back from the trip, but I forgot. So, I posted it here
  17. FBI barges through the door ”ALRIGHT, SUMNER. YOU’VE BEEN PLAYING TOO MUCH NICHE AND YOU HAVEN’T PAYED HOME RENT FOR ELEVEN WEEKS NOW. SURRENDER YOUR COMPUTER NOW OR ELSE WE’RE STEALING YOUR ANKLES”
  18. 1. Coconuts are heavy, and I’m pretty sure creatures aren’t made out of steel. 2. Can you elaborate a little more? 3. Yes, more biomes would be wonderful, but you should be a little more specific. Do you wish to see a tundra? A volcano island? 4. That probably won’t happen, but nice idea. 5. For the third time: Can you be more specific? 6. It would be amazing to create your own custom islands, but how would ya do that? I’m not trying to bash you, these are just my viewpoints on your suggestions. Have a great weekend!
  19. I don't really have any challenges for you, but my friend does own a popular Niche group called Niche Challenges. https://steamcommunity.com/groups/niche_challenges Hopefully this cures your boredom? Also, fun fact, if you scroll through the members for a bit, ya might find me...
  20. Albinos having melanistic children. What a day. I'm preeeetty sure the joke died, but eh
  21. I mean, you can, but I think that would just be tedious to start a new suggestion for every single gene ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
