  1. PvE-Sumo sounds interesting! I think we need more modules / options with logic to automate for this kind of challenge without getting a screen full of logic...
  2. Particle bounce is comparable with laser reflect, i think it's looking great but i don't know if it really does more damage/digging. Maybe the miner from the alpha can be upgraded to also dig, so a few of those will mine away the useless "mineral" (aka planet) and if some valuable resources show up on the way they are sent to the storage.
  3. I blocked some spambots, but i can't do much more than blocking for now. If a new bot appears please report a post from the bot, a single report per bot is sufficient to bring it to our attention. Thank you!
  4. AFAIK this has been tried in internal test and it didn't go well with the gamephysics and it was very taxing on the hardware. But unity just was upgraded, maybe it's possible to do it now?

  6. Good idea! The 2^n+1 part does sound like it should be limited to something like 4 inputs. Just imagine the size of the table, it needs an interface to be usable ingame...

  8. I like DreamShark's EMP-idea. Some kind of slow fireing EMP-cannons that can deactivate one or even some adjected gates for a few seconds. Maybe the enemies that can have an effect to the logic move fast (evade) and need some time to charge the weapon (time to react and kill) before they charge the drone to strike in some sort of melee and release the charged EMP. Just my imagination... Give the core an upgrade to resist EMP and/or reduce the time the module is not working.

    Good Music

    Caravan Palace does ring a bell, i saw the video from the song Lone Digger a few years ago (bar fight) and didn't know how to feel about the mix of feel good music and the excessive violence. Just watched it again, still feels a bit off, but i like the music
  10. I see how this would be useful for an automated miner, but for a real autonomous miner there are more important features to implement first. A thing to keep in mind for the time when the other things are ready to use

  18. I think the idea is to give the drone / single parts of the drone the ability to 'break' and 'accelerate' with inertia / air resistance. Sounds interesting and i imagine possible uses.
  19. The Alpha features a new mining system to gather two different resources. Those are needed to buy the upgrades from the techtree. 'Selling minerals' sounds interesting as possibility to convert one resource into the other. That should come at a cost that needs to be balanced. I like this idea! Crafting is probably also covered as the type of the weapon itself and three selectable upgrades can be freely chosen.

    Good Music

    Good music is a very personal thing. I listen to many different styles of music, depending on where, when, mood and if I'm alone or with friends or family. Among others i listen to Bach, Mozart, Hayden, Jo Blankenburg, The Piano Guys, Rachmaninoff, deadmau5, Infected Mushroom, Wolfgang Gartner, Rammstein, Metallica, AC/DC, Dire Straits, OVERWERK, Schiller, GusGus, Leo Maracchioli, Feed Me, Daft Punk, Wintergatan, Parov Stelar... Just to name a few of them
  22. Ooh, shiny! And yeah, collision checks seem necessary on planets too.
  23. I never encountered this problem, but i have the impression that the enemies always spawn at the same spot. Workaround: wait a few seconds instead of boosting ahead to give them time to spawn. A possible fix could be to set the spawn location outside of the testarea. I dont know the internals about collision checks, but adding a check if there is a part of the drone where the game wants to spawn an enemy seems a better solution.
  24. I eagerly await the next update, i want to fiddle around with new stuff. More features, more feedback, more features, more... more! Note to self: Ok, don't get excited too much, let's start small with the next update and be happy about it, there is already much stuff to do
