Scots is a very rich dialect, over the years I've learned to understand it, my dad's side speaking pretty much exclusively Scots. (I don't know how you would spell half of these, I only use it when visiting Scottish family) I dunnae' ken - I don't know Quines n' loons - Boys and girls Bonnie - pretty Wit are ya' talkin' aboot? - What are talking about? Lug - Ear A wee nigh' oot - A small night out Heed, shedders, shanks n' taes - Head, shoulders, legs and toes Bubblyjock - Turkey DESTGUSTANG - Disgusting If you know, you know. Though I live in one of the largest cities in Texas, which means I don't really hear that much 'Texan' words, like 'howdy'.
