How much of a thing is hard candy actually in your country?

You can get chocolate, mushy stuff and everything with nuts and terrible off-flavours here, but the closest thing are lollipops.

some woman just dumped a load of jellybeans into our bags with a huge smile on her face

and we didn't realise until we were eating loads of them that they were were the bean boozled ones where one colour has two flavours: a good one and a bad one and by bad I mean like,, dog food flavour, vomit flavour, earwax flavour,,

i mean like

here, if you have your porch light on (decor or not), it means you're giving candy; if it's off, then everyone knows there's no candy to get there.

Here in Finland we have a great and very clear system: There's no trick or treating, so no one will be confused!
