The motorized hinge is bypassing the physics, by just forcing the attached parts to move even if they could not. To avoid this, we could add a hinge that rotates with a specific force and therefore stops rotating when the attached parts collide. However it would be a bit more complicated to set up as you need to configure the force of the motor yourself so that it works with different sizes of attached parts.

@Skysplash8 @Forest It's really weird that a savegame just disappears. One thing you absolutely need to do is to make sure that you have some free disk space, otherwise it will always have problems saving correctly. If it happens again, please search for the logfile and send it to us, so we can figure out what the problem was Here is how you can find the logfiles:

I think it could be fun to have small enemies that target your logic parts and press some buttons to screw with your drone. For example activating thrusters or decoupling things

I think it should have an effect on all parts or you won't really see a change. And if you split it off it will only affect those parts, to make some fast / slow mini drones.

@Piratax10 Unfortunately there is nothing suspicious in the logfile It looks like some shaders could not load. What type of Mac are you using and what OS? Make sure you have free disk space and also try upgrading your graphics card drivers. If this does not work we should test a newer version of the game.

Can you test again please? We changed some settings and raised the pm limit.

We aim to release early access in september. The plan is to release a bigger update each month starting next month. And smaller updates every ~2 weeks containing popular drone part and features suggestions. So keep upvoting the things you like to see in the game

Well it will depend on the enemy. Most likely it will slow down movement or let flying enemies fall down to the ground when frozen. We will play around with freezing mechanics when we add colder planets. We have not yet started working on this feature

Yes the idea is that each dronepart and enemy has a temperature. If it rises too high, it will start to burn. Burning objects will rise the temperature of adjacient objects and objects have different heat resistance depending on the material. The idea behind is that you need to actively cool down or shield your droneparts if you get closer to the molten core of a lava planet. But we'll implement it in a way that the mechanic works for all other objects For example you should be able to set fire to enemies, they panic and set others on fire
