I'd suggest playing till the 50 days mark. Though 20 days without rain is already quite a long time.

What Dinocanid said is already really good. Just longer lifespans wouldn't help much because then you'd have to many Nichelings who wouldn't die fast enough before you can express the right genes. For gene expression as it is now it is actually quite good.

I wouldn't mind. I mean names are names. As long as it isn't Pkuhtzmk ^^ and even with that I could work. I think names can be very flexible

I really like this idea. We could even add a new gene for night vision with which our creatures would be better at seeing in caves always (maybe shown by more lit up tiles) but in the overworld they would be really bad at seeing (like short sightedness). Why wouldn't we find moles since they live under the earth?

Interesting. I personally was never bothered by that but when the mechanic was added I already knew what and where to go. I could imagine though that new players get easily frustrated or confused by that.

So after people saying they wouldn't like that they couldn't control the sick creature. What if this disease was a part of the challenge mode (I am refering to this post: ) or an option when you go sandbox (either on harder islands or just always) and just not present in story mode? That way people could have the option if they wanted the extra challenge but players who don't want it wouldn't need to play with it?

Moved it to Feature Requests I would like more names. Even though I often give my animals custom names I have heard/ read pretty much every name in the game at this point and a few more names would come as a welcome addition

Intersting idea. You could play this alone as well. I was thinking about the possibility for splitting your tribes (own food stores and stuff) for some time now. I was never quite sure about the interaction between the split groups though if it wasn't multiplayer/ co-op like it would be easy to just have it like in the normale game.

I don't know why this happens. But the players are not really supposed to use the console anyway so console bugs are likely not to be fixed by the devs. You can prolong the lifespan of your creatures though through the console as well
