  1. Had that happen to me too. No idea though if it is a bug ^^
  2. Kinda similar to the challenge island idea from the devs. I like it. Maybe it could be combined? I am always looking for dynamic challenges so this sounds pretty cool And we need more underwater mobs in my opinion anyway
  3. What genes would do the luring though? I like the idea just wondering how the skill would be connected to the genes
  4. Cool idea and I think it would fit in quite well as a head slot (especially since we can destroy rocks so why not trees as well
  5. Uhm yes please?! I have never enough gem colours. This way I possibly could have
  6. Changed the title. Also I am pretty happy how the scorpion tail currently is not to say that I would mind changes. I wouldn't. Maybe a different type of body that would work well with the tail?
  7. That sound like the eperimental branch we had once. And that is not exactly how adaption in the darwin theory works. The parents don't adapt but random mutations are either beneficial for the environment or they are not. If they are the creature has more offspring and the gene gets passed on (let's say one of your creatures mutates big body and you are in the mountains you'll probably make sure that that creature has lots of children while the lean bodied creature probably won't have as many). That is what we like to call 'adapting'. In addition to that changes of the genes have to change the gametes as well (like sperma cells) which usually doesn't happen because they are already finished when a creature reproduces and grows up. So the parents might be used to the cold but the change in their normal body cells wouldn't usually carry over to the gametes and therefor to their children. I don't want to bash your idea or anything. That is just how Niche works currently (and most of the biology in the world). I like Philos idea that x babies have to be born there
  8. I would love that option sooooo much. Still waiting for my longer life spanned Nichelings for proper role play
  9. I would actually like the idea for rogue males not to breed with distastefull looking females. I mean they already ignore spiky body females (if I remember correctly). I am not sure about toxic body but it would make a lot of sense and for bearyena snout. I mean if I was a rogue male I'd be pretty scared that that thing would eat me ^^
  10. Sorry, I might have misread your post and saw including ^^

    Bug?

Sounds like a bug. Would be news to me if wings were ancient genes though how rare they are for me they might as well be ^^
  12. You want mine too? Happens to me quite regularly
  13. I find this idea very interesting though I consider Nichelings mammals and don't know what to do of so many sexes though a Nicheling changing its sex when there aren't enough females or males around sounds heavenly ^^ Would certainly like to try this on an experimental branch Curious to see if a dev pops in here and gives her/ his two cents Just one little issue. For me it doesn't make sense for a creature to be able to reproduce with an infertile one. I mean when you are infertile you are infertile there is no way around it.
  14. Happened to me too. Restarting the game and then moving the creatures always fixes it for me though. Usually the game starts lagging before the creatures don't move
  15. No problem. You are not the first person that confused the forums Just check the headings next time
  16. But doesn't the grass adventure island have rogue males as well? And you find bearyenas on any easy island. Not that I would mind if the whale island was moved just wondering
  17. Death and Destruction!! No good questions mother dropping child is of course logical and either one creature moves out of the way automaticly, the child never grows up (same when you keep the mother on the nest) until you drop it and there is also space or you simply cannot move a creature a specific tile next to the mother (let's say her front) when the baby is supposed to grow up and be dropped. I mean with the merging glitches we already have just having the creatures merge seems a good option
  18. You have an awesome Grandma

    Might be a Glitch

Sounds like a glitch and I think I noticed that too though for me it usually stopped after two days without picking up the coconut
  20. Jojo

    Stuck on night

I guessed that ^^ No problem
  21. Kannst dich sonst auch an mich wenden, also auf Deutsch oder wenn ich was für dich übersetzen soll

    Various Bugs

I am currently breeding a line of creatures with no blood clotting genes because father and mother had none
  23. It has to do with the peacock tail (only on the males though) and maybe it'll enhance the chance of the mating call working?
