Hello! This is my first playthrough so I hope it goes well. Before I start the story I'm going to give some background story about the characters. My starter nichelings , Sparrow and Crow, were thrown out of their tribe because they had wings. They washed up on the shore of an new island. They decide to start a tribe, and call it the tribe of wings. The rules are- 1. A wanderer must have a tribe gene to join. The tribe genes are - Antenna, wings (bat or bird), bird beak, and big ears. If a wanderer doesn't have any of these genes, they will not be invited. 2. A nicheling in the tribe may breed with wanderers, even if they do not have the genes needed to join. 3. If a baby born in the tribe doesn't have the correct genes, once they are old enough they will be banished.

So I have a setup not. I have my mother's laptop on my left, my sister's laptop in front of me, and an iPad on my right to listen to and watch things so that I don't get fidgety. Also, funny little thing. Orniekis has become my real name, no joke. Sooo, what I'm saying is, I can continue this playthrough really easily now.

I've always imagined nichelings similar to warrior cats - they interact with humans like dogs or cats, they just have secret cultures since they can't communicate with humans like humans can with each other.

Orniekis startles herself awake. Hold on... when did she fall asleep again? The sun has only just lowered over the hills. That was a short nap. There's a coconut laying below her on the sand next to the nest. Well, there's dinner sorted. Okay, writing in her perspective is already really interesting. I didn't know it was physically possible for me to write a sentence as short and simple as 'That was a short nap' without going over it 52 times and stressing over the fact that it has zero detail. But then again, that's sort of how I think when I'm not writing stories. My brain makes no sense to me. Now I'm curious what'll happen when a new Nicheling joins the group. I feel like the reason Orniekis' perspective makes me feel more relaxed when writing is because I associate her with myself in the way that we have the same sort of thought process-- ecept she actually thinks in words and I usually think in nothing but sounds, colours and images. But I can't make all the Nichelings exactly the same. So.
