    griffins all have their griff counterparts

    domestic griffin/sweetroll-griff (found around most cor-shape [human] villages) : heron/stork/hawk heads, natural colors

    swamp-griffin/bog-griff (found in swamps) : crocodile/ibis heads, dark and mossy colors

    royal griffin/servant griff (found in high mountains) : eagle/lion heads only for royal griffs, vulture/hawk heads for both, usually warm colors

    pterogriffin/griffraptor (found in high desert mountains) : pteranodon/velociraptor heads, cool colors

    hummingriffin/toco-griff (found in jungles) : hummingbird/toucan heads, bright and warm colors

    -coryides: creator god, sworn enemy of stheno. near universally liked, except by followers of stheno

    - they/them -stheno: chaos god, sworn enemy of coryides. despite their hatred, has somehow amassed quite a following - they/them

    every royal griffinet hatched to the royal family is assigned a servant-griff when they reach one year of age. this griffchick is the same age as the griffinet, and will be their servant for the rest of their life.
