Bug reports, feedback and cute Niche Mobile Nichelings can be viewed by everyone in the community. This subforum in Discussion & Feeback was made so Niche Mobile content doesn't flood all other threads and we can keep feedback and similar stuff in one place

Yep! A Hurt Nicheling will only recover if you heal it. Same goes for poisoned Nichelings (though there are no poison/swamp bioimes yet). The other Status effects (Overheated, Frozen, Exhausted) pass over time.

It's region and biome levels that you need to level up. For the Desert Island you need to level up the grass region and also the creek biome.

I can still play with nichelings I do have but can't get more or breed more. The game doesn't allow me to send them away. I think I'll need to reinstall the game but not sure if it would happen again.
I'll do the bug report so you can get the data and see for yourselves since I'm not exactly sure how to explain.

@FawnCat thanks for reporting!
1) the visual bug where you see the nicheling head when you scroll will be fixed in the next update
2) same goes to the encounter nest that is hidden by the grass
3) The new nest bug has been reported a few times already, we'll try fixing it next week and give you guys update build.
What exactly happened? The nest was locked again and then the nests disappeared? Now your Nichelings can't be used? (Is the game still playable or not?)The bug report feature is still running and the token should be the same
would be great to have your data!

However, after I restarted the game (I kept on getting male babies and lots of people in this thread seemed to think that restarting changes the gender imbalance) and sent away the aged-up nicheling on the nest it was suddenly locked again and my tribe size limit went down from 5 to 4.
Someone else also reported a nest being locked again after purchasing it (as well as the gender bug), thanks for reporting!
Also @ your other post:
1) yes, random sparkles still seem to be a problem, we haven't found out why yet^^'
2) Did you do anything special before you noticed that the genes in the collection disappeared? -

You need to completely unninstall the app and reinstall the new one as if it were a different app.
Your save files should be on your phone's files under: My files > Internal storage > Android > Data, if you want to try and delete them manually. -
@mhiahia @Dahl_Tech You both need to delete your data of the previous version of the game. Right now everything is broken, because the safe files have changed and can't be loaded.
Try this:

@xkcd2020 You are looking at the requirement for collecting (the berry icon), whichis 3. Each Nicheling needs to have a collecting ability 3 or more, or else they won't collect any food. The diagramm is red as a warning (not because it's schowing the strenght. Strength is the ability that adds teh nichelings' ability points together, all the other abiilities are individual). I see how this is confusing, we are currently reworking the UI, though.

the mane is only the same color in the demo
Your nichelings can actually have 3 different colors now: fur color, pattern color and mane color, they can all be different.

@Gummy @Alyssia We're currently working on a lot of things to improve them game and the current build that is online is very buggy. I will add you both when we have the fixed build with more content, it'd be great if you can test that one, that should be end of this week or next week!
