I tried playing on the jungle today and I still see the stinky fruit glitches being a pain so probably not yet

Same here, but mine was still in version 1.1.6 at the top...

Welcome to the forums!
Hm, not really sure about that. With versions on the preview branch it always depends on what bugs occur.
Some of them make the save files made in these versions incompatible.

If your game didn't update (and if you did the things Renio said) try restarting steam to get your game tp update

You might need to enable 'show hidden files' (I can't really provide a picture because everything is in german on my pc)
