so uh- yeah- Miss Niche but halloween themed Submit ONE somewhat spooky (or maybe not spooky made spooky with editing?) nicheling. You can edit the picture to add accessories and stuff (but you can't edit it to change the pattern, color, genes, stuff like that) Your nicheling has to be either bred or found, so no sandbox-created nichelings (you can submit a nicheling bred from sandbox ones though) and no Adam. Other than that any nicheling's fine. Voting will be held... sometime. The 10th or the 15th, I think. It'll close 5? days afterward. And when it does happen, don't vote for yourself, or you'll get 2 votes subtracted from your final count. I might draw the winner I think that's all-

Example of an acceptable submission except for the fact that it's Adam also it's kinda random you should make it. less random Example of an unacceptable submission (oh also more edit rules- if you add decorations make them something nichelings could actually do. so no human technology like candles or phones. and don't change the environment like recoloring a tree or berry bush)

IRL art I made of my OC is a Wizard college rp, Fae!

there could be an underwater biome, grass would be seaweed, there would be small islands with maybe a tree or berry bush that creatures could use, the leaches would spawn around the islands, there could be a underwater predator to replace the bearyanea. natural nests would look like they were made from seaweed. fish swarms would become the new bunnies. and lastly for a food source there another underwater plant they gives several berries a day. also when it doesnt rain for at least 2 1/2 weeks in a row the water starts drying up when this happens if the water around berry bushes is gone they no longer produce berries and there is no food where the water dried up. I just thought of this a few minutes ago that whys its not very fleshed out.

Well we have Snow islands? Meadows? Savannah? Why not volcano island? I've thought this for a while and here's the details: Normal volcano islands:Hard island Giant volcano island:Killer islands In the normal one the could be 7 ports while in the giant one there could be 5 ports the designs could be Rocky and with a little lava. Vegetation : -Bare berry bush -Ash tree -Roots(rare) Fauna: -Bearyena(rare) -Vulturish creature(Can only appear in volcano islands and can scoop babies and harm 2 gemed teens that are alone, steals meat of not guerded by 2 animals) -Moles(Rare) -Termites The goal here is to leave the island before the volcano explodes thought there is a special gene you could get here (below) the creatures here will try to stop you, and if a nicheling goes into a lava river half of its life spawn will be ripped away, many many rocks. Genes unlocked here: -Rockbreaker or Rockmover paw:You get it by being 30 days on this Island, if a rock is is your way a nicheling with one paw it can move it to a close place but if it has 2 paws it can break it Well that's all

I just came back to the forum from a long hiatus, and I’m wondering if the “Miss Niche” competitions still exist. I was mainly active on the forum in 2018 though, so I understand if they’re not around. If not I’ll miss them they were fun. It was sort of a pagent where people would submit a photo of their most beautiful nicheling and then people would vote on the one they thought looked the best.

So, niche definetly needs notification updates. An example of this is, One of your creatures died. By what? And who? What happened? I feel this is a problem we all can have. So, here's a request I believe would be simple. Making it so we can actually know who died and possibly by what? I feel it'd be a simple but nice addition.

Based off of ants, I figure I can bring this head back into the active suggestions now that we have antennae Last year an insect head was deemed far-fetched, but I figure it's a little less so at this point. ❤️ This was, after all, my personal favorite among all my suggestions from last year Consider this head a jack of all trades- except smelling. It can't smell worth a lick. But dangit, it's cute, so I'd be willing to overlook that. It gives +1 strength, +1 gathering, +1 cracking, and +1 digging. The eye would also be a solid color with no iris/pupil, and would bulge out a little from the head. "But Mystic, what do we have to do to gain this new gene?!" Easy- STARVE your nichelings. What? You have to take physical damage to gain Spikey Body, so having to starve in order to gain Clever Jaw isn't that much of a stretch.

I really like the colours and I don't know why. I've never taken an interest to these colours before now- oh Now I know why. It's reminding me of mint mangos in Slime Rancher. i like those. they taste good. theoretically. I mean, it's a strange relationship. But I know what they taste like. somehow.

He was also born in the same year as me, maybe I have a long lost twin brother
