I’ve been wanting to start doing videos recently but my current PC is way too bare bones. The videos I’ve tried to record through OBS on niche and The Long Dark are like 2 frames per minute at best. So I’ve been saving up for bit and am looking to upgrade. I’ve never built a PC or anything like it. Anything period... but I think I could do it. So if you have tips or experience please help a friend out. I’m thinking custom built and I’ve already done research into the parts I’ll need (CPU, GPU, cooling, RAM, etc) budget is $500-$600 (US). I want to start off cheap and than upgrade. Thinking of it as an investment.

As evening sets in the three nichelings spread out along and beach snoozing peacefully. Especially Nina and Daisy. Who knew you could get zoned out on coral?? To bad I don't live near the beach...

Daisy comes to the edge and looks down into the water. Holy Hermits is that blob really going make me better? She thinks to herself. Well, Baba said it works so... 'SUCK IT UP AND EAT THAT THING!' Nina interrupts her thoughts in a loud but surprisingly encouraging voice. Daisy too dunks her head in the water and grabs a chunk of blob coral. When she comes up her ears are droopy and heavy with water. She takes a bite. It tastes... oceany. 'Hey it isn't too bad.' A light buzz travels under her fur and down to her tail. 'Mmm not bad.'

'And while you're back there,' Baba calls, 'you two might want to try that coral. Its not the best, but it does have healing properties.' 'Ooooo ok!' Nina comes to the edge of the port and sticks her horned head in the water She comes back up with a month full of coral. 'MMMM. Fine stuff that is. Daisy why don't you try?'

i'll still continue with the screenshots i have, but after those run out, this playthrough will pretty much be put down and branch out to other playthrough of mine

The thing is tho, i have about 20-40 screen shot from one year ago, and the world itself had kinda taken a peaceful turn after wards and i had no exciting plans. so i'll ramp it up in a different way. i deleted the world, but im keeping a sandbox save with all their info. age, genes, such like that, and then they will return in a new playthrough. i'll just have em popping up everywhere in later playthroughs of mine

Ducky came to a halt, which caused Blame to trip over him. She quickly got up with a growl. “Hey! Tell me when you stop next time!” Though her annoyance had been ignored, Ducky’s gaze fixed on the pink male in front of them. Blame looked up to see, eyes scanning the area to see a limp body next to the male. Her eyes widened and she quickly backed away. “Ducky, let’s go.” But yet again, she had been ignored. The two males had been in a staring contest, but Blame shoved Ducky. “I said let’s go!” She said, her panic evident through her voice. Ducky looked over at her, which caused the pink male to leap at him. Blame quickly shoved Ducky into the water, then ducked. The male went flying over her, but quickly recovered on the other side. He let out a low growl, and Blame quickly pulled Ducky out of the water by the scruff. Blame then quickly ran off towards the others, though Ducky took a bit to catch up.

Starfall opened her eyes to be surrounded by yet another limp body. She blinked a few times in confusion. She slowly began to waddle over to the crabbits, taking small nibbles out of one of their bellies. After eating, she slowly closed her eyes again, not paying any attention to the call of birds in the distance.

I’m also thinking of using a tb 1 ssd instead of a hard drive and getting an external hard drive if I need it (I know they’re more $$$ but I’m ok with that) and what do you think would be better to start with, 8 or 16 ram?

The game I primarily want to focus on is the long dark. My graphics settings are pretty much as low as you can go and the game isn’t even 100% smooth, so I think that alone will demand a lot.

Hey, this guy is getting there! Sure, his yellow is from toxic body but his natrual colour is yellow+red brown! Look at his mane, he has red pattern! Maybe switch to medium body, get a beak on there, breed out the horns, and I'll be getting even closer!

I think pattern shape b would work for the red spot, the smaller density settings (smallest, second smallest)

Chose cub, later realized I call them kits (gender neutral, pup for males and bunny for females)
